Apparently, this school in Tokyo had a common language of English, as people came from around the world to attend this school.
It's supposed to not only have the best education on basic knowledge but also hone the power of everybody attending there.
Walking through the entrance was as smooth as butter, and even though it seemed everybody else around me was dressed up in more glamorous attire, we still managed to pass the entire line with ease.
"Remember, young miss. Never show weakness before anybody… unless it is in front of us or your mothers… but everybody else must watch and follow you like a noble leader. No need to be a god amongst your peers, but you must be the best… that is what your parents expect of you, and that is what they expect me to uphold for you,"
"I got it,"
This school was not just any school, but a really big fucking school that made my jaw drop upon seeing the full campus.
All of the buildings and dorms were sky high, with tons of glass being used to let in natural light, but also massive neon signs and a futuristic cyberpunk aesthetic that fit the puzzle piece of Tokyo, Japan.
It was incredibly beautiful, and as I walked through the near-empty campus, since I was one of the first ones to enter, I made my way to my dorm.
But, I had a question that I desperately needed answers to since, from what I've seen, it was most definitely a given with so many shitty brats running around.
"What should I do if somebody picks on me, despite my status?"
My maids looked at me as if I was some sort of weirdo, and upon arriving at the teleporter, which allows us to get into the dorm and just our room itself, they finally responded.
"Just kill them. Doesn't matter if it's the spoiled brat of a trillionaire. If you want, we can take care of them in a single snap. We can make their lives hell and can let the child watch as they see their parents fall into despair, eventually losing their status as such a prestigious kid… Remember, you are practically king amongst mortals. Everybody here is a human, but you are something different… never forget that, but never let it get to your head. You must still have some benevolence,"
As she inputted the room code for my dorm and pressed her thumb against the large screen, I nearly rolled my eyes at her last words.
What point is there in being an all-powerful ruler if you are going to help people out… what a waste of power.
"I know what you are thinking, kid… trust me, I've seen plenty of kids like you get eaten up by this world just for thinking that,"
"Well, my parents are practically gods in this world… what should I worry about?"
My maids all just lightly smiled before we teleported into my room, eventually just dropping the previous conversation as my attention soon shifted to the massive room.
It was a sleek modern room that had been optimized by the advancements in technology across the center of technological advancement, Japan.
If it wasn't for Japan and a few other newer countries that had popped up, the world wouldn't be so far ahead in technology.
Not only were they the ones who created the first teleporter, but they were also the ones fueling a new exploration into space… and I guess that's what my mother has been so stressed about.
The amount of time and money needed to be poured into such an exploration that would normally fail is, of course, extremely stressful… but I mean, aren't we way too rich? Why is she worried about money?"
"Your mother didn't grow up rich. In fact, she wasn't even average… she was below poor. Absolutely dirt poor… trust me, we've watched her since before she obtained the right to summon us. The poor thing was nearly devoured by this world," My maid of death replied, somehow reading my mind.
"R-Really…?" I muttered, scratching my cheek as I now felt a bit guilty.
Working your way up into somebody as rich as her, she must still not of the value of money, whereas… I guess I've sort of lost the sense.
Back when I was the queen on that icy plane, if I stood in my bedroom, the amount of gold I had would tower over me and bury me under its weight.
But that amount is nothing compared to the money I have here… I could buy an entire country if I convinced both of my mothers just enough to get the edge on them… of course, I wasn't planning on doing that any time soon, though.
"Now, let's check out the beds," I lightly muttered, slowly worming my way through the various white furniture and then working my way up to the top floor.
It was practically just a loft apartment with two levels: the base, which had all the necessities such as a kitchen, lounge, dining room, hot spring room… for some reason, and a place where I could get some studying done.
On the very top floor was where my bedroom and the rooms of my maids were, which were perfectly sculpted to all of my likings.
I don't even know how many strings my mother had to pull for this to happen… or maybe it was already a feature of this campus? I doubt it…
"Why give me a study room when I barely need it? I mean, the subjects shouldn't be that hard, right?"
And just like that, I jinxed myself for the rest of my entire school life.
…
"How were your classes?" My maid of ice greeted me as she took my bag and led me to the dining room, where a few snacks had already been prepared.
"T-Too hard… I don't understand a thing…." I muttered since this wasn't near anything I had been previously learning.
