"Oho! And what do you want to study, young miss!?"
"I want to study how to manage Tolf!" I shouted, and mommy's discreet expression lightly lowered into a more serious smile.
"Welp… that is a no can do. You can pick anything else but that… we'll teach you later, but for now, you should work on the basics. How about we start you off with math, English, and science? From there, you can branch out into other subjects… how about that?"
"No! I want to learn how to manage Tolf!" I shouted in protest, completely baffled at how this mom actually rejected my request.
"Ugh… you spoiled brat," I heard mama's voice slowly penetrate through the air and when I turned around, my eyes lit up.
"Mama!" I exclaimed, worming my way out of the grasp I was currently held prisoner in and hugging my mother's torso.
I wasn't very tall compared to her since she was just barely scraping the six-foot mark while I was a measly 5'1.
"Our daughter hates me," I heard mommy slightly tear up, and when I looked behind, I saw that she was just faking it and used it to grab me yet again and pull me into her grasp. "Haha! I got you!"
"*sigh*... Why don't you two play elsewhere? I still have some work to do,"
"Still?" I groaned, getting worried for her health again as she collapsed from exhaustion just yesterday, and now the bags under her eyes were even worse.
"Yes, still… but I guess I can take a small break," She lightly chuckled before kissing my other mom, who had a large smile on her face.
Back on the previous plane, they weren't anywhere as cheerful and as happy as this… even with all their work, when they smiled, they really smiled.
They were way too cheerful for a pair of somebody who gets overworked all the time.
And after giving me a kiss on the forehead, she retracted and stroked my face lightly, her smile a shining sun that broke through all my worry.
"So, what was this about trying to help out with Tolf?" Mama asked.
"Well, I was thinking-"
"There is no way she's helping out. She's still too young to be exposed to such things… plus, I want her to attend some kind of school. I don't really care which one, but I want her to develop some social skills," My other mom interrupted me before lightly kissing me on the top of the head.
"*sigh*... Your mother is right… You shouldn't be helping out with our work yet,"
"But you both seem so stressed… I just want to help you both out. Can't I?" I asked, putting on the best pitiful puppy dog eyes I could muster.
They both paused for a moment, processing my pitiful expression and then finally letting out a long sigh of submission.
"Fine…" Both of my mothers groaned, and as both of my eyes lit up, mama firmly planted her foot on the ground, making sure there were some things set straight. "But, only if you attend school. We'll send a tutor over every other day so you can have time to also focus on your own studies, but this also means you won't be seeing us very often. You've grown extremely quickly… and it would be a shame to let your incredible potential rot… so, just to make sure everything is clear, repeat it to me,"
"I'll be attending school elsewhere, and a tutor to help me with Tolf will help with my studies…"
"Well, yeah, essentially. Okay, now the school… it should be the one in Tokyo, right? I mean, it would be the best one for fighting and defending yourself overall. Her knowledge will also have a good base," Mama recommended.
"That sounds like a good idea. Then… it seems I also have to go back to Norway. I'm sorry, honey, but we won't be seeing each other for a while," Mommy muttered, lightly rubbing her soft cheek against my face.
"Then, you have to stay with me for the rest of the day. I won't be leaving now, right?"
"Of course not," Mommy replied before setting me down on the ground, and as she took my hand, we waltzed through the hallways, mama watching us from behind.
"Have fun, girls!"
…
"Fooooo… Okay… I can do this… I'm much better than all of them… I'll be the more mature one in every argument," I muttered, yet for some reason, I was still nervous.
The school that I was being sent to could barely be called a school and was more like a fucking palace with hundreds of tiny mansions.
I knew this school ranged from first grade all the way to twelfth grade, but damn… wasn't this more of a college campus that I see all the time on the internet.
"Young miss, are you sure you're ready? You have the shadow team watching you at all times, and we'll still be here to take care of you, but Mistress might summon us back if she is ever in distress. I just want you to know that you're now in the wild… not in the comfort and safety of the Tolf Palace… okay?"
"Y-yes," I nervously muttered, my clattering against each other rapidly as I held tightly onto the maid of death's hand.
Apparently, this school in Tokyo had a common language of English, as people came from around the world to attend this school.
It's supposed to not only have the best education on basic knowledge but also hone the power of everybody attending there.
Walking through the entrance was as smooth as butter, and even though it seemed everybody else around me was dressed up in more glamorous attire, we still managed to pass the entire line with ease.
"Remember, young miss. Never show weakness before anybody… unless it is in front of us or your mothers… but everybody else must watch and follow you like a noble leader. No need to be a god amongst your peers, but you must be the best… that is what your parents expect of you, and that is what they expect me to uphold for you,"
"I got it,"
