Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1069: Crimson Guillotine Array

Kent laughed and stared at the seething Angel Lady who wanted nothing more than to end him with a single sword strike.

"I only have one question," Kent said, raising a finger. "Why would the heavenly court mess with the awakening between two worlds?"

To buy time, Kent activated a skill he received when he added Princess Lovina to his harem.

It wouldn't be able to penetrate Atria's mind and cause her to say things she wouldn't want to say, but it was strong enough to at least make her talk.

"I don't talk to mongrels," Atria said, which caused Kent to narrow his gaze at her. For some reason, he hated being called a mongrel. However, he kept his cool and instead chose to handle it like a man.

"Mongrel, you say. I guess this universe is different from mine, yet the same. Though I pity you... The mission you are on is a failure... You cannot kill the one you are after because I wouldn't allow you."

Kent turned and looked at the redheaded beauty he had saved the moment he arrived in the universe.

During the past two hours that they had fought, Kent caught Atria observing the redhead every chance she got. Every time she looked at her, a wave of killing intent flowed from her, making him wonder just what she was after.

However, after she had tried to sneakily kill her, Kent finally realized she wasn't only after her; she was on a strict mission to kill that redhead.

Kent noticed the changes that were happening in the redhead. When he first arrived, if he and she had fought, he would have killed her in under thirty minutes.

However, as time passed and the battle only grew chaotic, he started to sense that if they were to clash now, an hour wouldn't be enough.

He realized that the redhead was like Sylvara; the longer the fight, the stronger she became. Naturally, the main factor in this was the blood on the battlefield...

"You are scared of her... No, you are not scared... You are scared of what she will become if she is left unchecked for a while. That is the case."

The look on Atria's face changed, but before she could make a move, Kent spoke again, this time saying something that struck a nerve.

"Do you love your family... You know, your sister, currently on Planet Nimbus, your mother, who is a governor in the Intergalactic Angel War Council... Your brother, who left home and started chasing after a lady like a simp, or your little boyfriend who told you not to take this mission...yet you did."

A grin appeared on Kent's face. "I believe his name is Micah."

Atria faltered, and her heartbeat nearly came to a stop when Kent spoke again. However, she turned pale when Kent added more words...

"I am not a firm believer in hurting the innocent. However, after appearing in this world and watching what you people are capable of, I don't mind aiding my bro in killing your family members.

"I believe my beautiful Alina calls it the price you pay for your stupidity. I have already sent the name of your world, family, their description, and even where your vacation home is to my bro, the paragon.

"I may not be able to personally do it, but I think my bro would be more than happy to kill the family of someone working for the Heavenly Court." Kent formed a hand seal, causing a formation to open in the air.

"Why... why would you want innocent people to die?" Atria said, her expression dark.

Kent had been trying to probe her status page for the past hour, but aside from her name and age, nothing else showed...

He tried all he could, but nothing happened.

However, that all changed when Kent started using the "Mind Mess" skill on her. He began to see more of her status.

Soon, everything became clear to him, and that was when he saw the danger he was in, but also a way to buy himself some time.

Of course, what Kent saw made him lose hope in humanity for a moment...

"You talk about innocence when deep within you, you knew all these people were innocent. Even the Paragon is innocent. However, you don't care about that.

All you care about is pleasing the heavens. You don't care what happens to the innocent as long as you score some brownie points with the heavens.

So why should I care? Also, my strength comes when there is chaos, so making sure your families follow you in death is the best recipe for you to get mad, so I can do this."

"Crimson Guillotine Array — Open."

The moment Kent said that, the array opened, and over a hundred thousand swords filled the air. Kent formed a few more seals, and then the swords lit with dark flames.

"Attack."

Atria, who was both angry because Kent discovered her secret and scared for the life of her family, decided to let go and kill the bastard.

However, Kent wasn't about to make things easy for her.

"Guillotine Lotus Formation!"

Ten thousand swords moved to create a lotus flower-like formation around Atria, causing her movement to come to a stop. Then the swords attacked, and all she could do was retaliate.

However, fighting against swords from hell and the Umbral Flame of Oblivion was no easy thing.

Swords kept coming, and despite her blocking and even destroying a few more, the changes were just too little since there were thousands more raining down on her.

"Guillotine Dragon Formation!"

While the lotus formation was working its magic, Kent activated another formation, forming a colossal dragon made of swords that moved toward her and swiped its tail, causing a thousand swords to strike with eerie precision and great speed.

Atria wrapped her wings around herself, and the surface of the wings turned metallic just as the swords arrived.

BOOM!

A powerful explosion rocked the battlefield, creating dust that covered both Kent's and Atria's vision. Naturally, they each made a move to catch the other off guard.

However, who was Kent if not someone who wanted just this moment to happen...

'Go, Gaap, you have five minutes.'

Kent's sword moved and entered the Crimson Guillotine Array. The main killing move is yet to be created.

If Kent had a shot at killing Atria, then Gaap must succeed in his mission.

⟦Master, I have heard back from Icon. She said her master becomes strong when using any of his bloodlines.

The one he is using now is called the Primordial Vampire Monarch Bloodline. It allows him great control in close combat, warfare, and blood manipulation.⟧

'So he is not channeling his bloodline power like I am doing?'

⟦No, he is merely riding on the boost.⟧

'What a monster. Even without holding true control over his bloodline, he is holding back two powerhouses and has even managed to injure one.

That is another level of monster.'

Kent smiled, watching the Paragon send the Angel man crashing to the ground. Then, at the same moment, he saw him manifest a clone that slipped away and was heading in a certain direction.

Kent focused on the clone, which moved toward the direction where a certain woman clad in futuristic armor was locked in fierce combat with a Life Stage warrior.

Naturally, the woman was being trashed. However, it felt like she wanted to be in that position long enough for the clone to arrive.

Just when the Life Stage warrior pushed the woman to a corner and was about to end her, the clone split into two clones and grabbed him.

In the microsecond granted by the new clone, Kent saw the woman point forward, and a beam made from water drew a fist-sized hole through the Life Stage warrior's head.

Then the clones pointed at the woman, sending her into the pagoda, which stood not far from where she fought.

Kent turned his focus back to the Paragon, who was still locked in fierce combat...
