'What just happened?' Kent asked, unsure of how to explain what he had just witnessed.
⟦Apparent, this Paragon has many minds, allowing him to observe many things while still locked in combat with two people who can easily end his life.⟧
'What a monster.' Kent smiled, feeling some form of pride watching the handsome redhead, fighting while a part of his mind was controlling thousands of weapons to aid his friends.
'I have decided, Tower. The moment we go back, I will learn the "Claw Art" even if I have to suffer soul damage.'
⟦Let's talk about that when we go back, master. For now, you have an Angel to kill.⟧
'I know, Tower. However, I want to help him harness his bloodline power. I believe that will make him several times stronger.'
⟦How should we do that?⟧
'Very simple, actually. Just give him one Innate Talent Awakening Pill infused with a drop of my essence blood.'
⟦How sure are you that it will work?⟧
Even the Tower has no idea that a person can do what Kent wanted to do. The least the Innate Talent Awakening Pill can do is awaken an innate talent, like an ability, bloodline skill, or even a bloodline boost.
Allowing one to open a doorway into their bloodline so they can harness it is not possible. Those things come naturally once one has the body, soul, and mind for it.
Using a pill to achieve that is not possible...
'I know it will work because, back during the primordial era, when Elina wanted to become a dragon, I did some research and found out my bloodline can bring out the potential of others.
Perhaps, if I had given Elina a drop of it before those forsaken idiots came, she would have survived.'
Kent sighed, recalling a moment back when he and Elina spent a night in a cave once owned by a scholar who specialized in bloodlines.
There, she tortured Chaos to make her a dragon; however, he didn't simply because he was scared his bloodline might hurt her.
Now, he knew he shouldn't have been afraid.
⟦I will do as you say, master.⟧
'Thank you.'
Kent looked at the Paragon for a few more seconds before turning back to Atria, who was still locked in with the Crimson Guillotine Array...
However, just when he was about to activate a new formation, a beam came from one portal that had just opened.
The beam wasn't aimed at him, but at the same redhead beauty Atria was trying to kill. At that same moment, another beam came for the Array, forcing Kent to prioritize who to save.
Saving the Array would mean getting to kill a Nirvana-stage warrior, but ignoring and saving the redhead would mean risking losing Atria.
Those were some odds he couldn't help thinking about. Losing Atria would put more lives at risk, and letting the beam kill the redhead would make Atria win regardless.
'Fuck the heavens,' Kent made up his mind and was about to go save Queenie (redhead) when a red beam came from the cloud and collided with the beam.
"Guillotine Shield Formation."
Kent formed a hand seal, and ten thousand swords formed into a shield that appeared between the Array and the beam.
'How is it going, Gaap?'
[Almost there, master. I am almost there.]
'Hurry, buddy, we have more arrivals.' Kent looked at the person who saved the redhead, but aside from a residue of solar qi in the air, nobody was there.
This made Kent look up as if staring at the sun...
'I am just overthinking things.'
[The formation is ready.] Gaap pulled his focus back to the Array. Then, without wasting time, Kent formed a hand seal...
"Guillotine Killing Formation."
The moment the new formation was activated, the swords spinning up in the air stopped; green flames lit on half the swords, while the other half were still lit by black flames.
"KILL"
The sword moved, and Atria, who had called for reinforcement, was finally met with something she wasn't prepared for.
Kent used his hand to control the black swords while the green ones circled in the air.
Suddenly, a long sword bypassed Atria's defense and landed on her shoulder, sending her flying back.
"Killing Sword Strike."
Kent's sword glowed green, and then he unleashed a powerful slash, one that caused the green swords to form into one large sword and slash at Atria, aiming to cut her in half.
However, just when the green sword was about to land on her body, a red-winged Angel, another Nirvana stage warrior, appeared and blocked it with a colossal sword.
"Thank you." Instead of frowning, Kent thanked the new arrival and formed a hand seal.
"Teleport."
Atria, who was finally out of harm's way, felt her surroundings shift, and then she found herself staring at a flaming finger less than a meter from her.
"Finger of Destruction."
"NOOOOOO!"
The red-winged Angel cried out loud, watching as the finger landed on Atria's body, and without any resistance, she was pushed into the ground, creating a powerful explosion.
"BOOOOOOM!"
At the same time, the green sword that the red-winged Angel defended against also exploded, sending the poor guy crashing into the ground.
"Welcome to the Crimson Guillotine Array... Have a nice stay."
And without even seeking out a new target, another Nirvana stage warrior willingly entered the Array, making him the second victim Kent planned to use to test the limit of the Crimson Guillotine Array.
Kent observed the battlefield and saw that some of the human warriors were retreating under the command of the Paragon.
He observed that the ones retreating were all Void stage warriors who were extremely tired.
As more Angels arrived, the danger level also started to rise.
⟦I have delivered the pill. Now, we just have to wait and see what happens.⟧
Kent nodded and also entered the Array and clashed with the red-winged Angel. Their battle soon became chaotic, but killing a Nirvana stage warrior made Kent extremely happy.
So his confidence was at an all-time high.
Slowly, time went by, but the various battles never seemed to slow down at all. More enemies kept coming.
However, something good happened.
The portal leading to the planet the Nethran came from closed. When he looked around, he saw that all the monarchs that came from there had died, and even the Nirvana stage warrior fighting the Paragon was also dead.
Even stranger, the Nirvana stage Angel was now locked in fierce combat with a silver-haired beauty who had a crown-like item on her forehead.
It didn't wrap around her entire head but only her forehead, and it had a pentagon-shaped gem glowing golden in it.
The Paragon, on the other hand, was nowhere to be found. He had vanished from the battle for an entire hour, yet Kent didn't notice.
This alone told him what he needed to know...
'They are all monsters.'
Suddenly, Kent felt a powerful pressure come from the pagoda standing in the distance.
At the same time, Kent also saw a green and blue portal open. Exactly 419 Angels walked out from the green and 12,000 from the blue.
But as if that wasn't enough, Kent sensed tribulation clouds forming, and their target seemed to be a vampire lady...
'I hate this universe.'
He retrieved a talisman and clenched it. In an instant, his bloodline rose from 20% to 25%.
"ROAR!"
A mighty dragon roared and covered the sky...creating a shadow large enough to send chills running down everyone's back...
