Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1068: Solid Plan

If there is one thing Kent is good at, then it is close combat, especially with a sword. He was the father of swordsmen, someone who mastered every possible move a swordsman could make.

Of course, one can argue and say he isn't his past self at the moment.

That is true; the current Kent is but a brat who has just started walking the path of a swordsman.

He had only recently reached the Sword Sage stage, which is several times far from reaching the peak of true swordsmanship.

So, using his past-life achievements to project his combat experience is more than shameless.

However, one thing can be said: the current him has mastered all 1.6 million sword moves a person could possibly think of. It took years for Jest to master all, and now Kent has all those moves.

So, despite being in a completely different universe, the same rules still apply, and Kent, who saw how dangerous Atria was, was using his talent in close combat to overwhelm her.

'The saying that in the face of absolute strength, all schemes are useless is indeed true.'

Both in strength and speed, Atria surpasses him. Even with 135,000 flame veins, Kent is barely keeping up.

The only thing saving him is the soul map, which allows him to see and anticipate every move Atria is making and would make.

'I may have graduated even from Supreme High Worlds, but I am not ready for Immortal or Unique Worlds,' Kent smiled as he evaded a wide swing.

Then, with a quick jab, he pushed Atria back, only for her to move around him and try to stab him from the back...

"I never knew Angels were cowards, even going as far as trying to backstab me... How shameless."

Kent teleported and then used a clone body to appear behind Atria and try to backstab her, only for his clone body to be cut in half by a wind blade Atria conjured from thin air.

Kent, of course, knew she was doing that, so he probed her with his clone body, and then, using his main body, he teleported back to land an attack.

But facing a Nirvana-stage warrior, even if she doesn't have access to her domain, the chances of catching her off guard are next to zero.

However, Kent isn't merely attacking to see if he will be lucky... Kent is more intelligent than that. He has 1.6 million sword moves in his mind... he can execute them with ease, meaning whenever Atria makes a move, it is within one of the 1.6 million moves.

What he was doing was isolating all her moves, and then, once she has used all close combat moves she knew, he would find a way to use the remaining moves she didn't know and, hopefully, kill her...

'Or I can just use my trump cards now and pray for the best,' Kent said inwardly, but then he chuckled.

He knew his ride back home wouldn't open for another 23 hours and 45 minutes, so he might as well kill the woman and later use his trump cards when a new target came and there were no other ways.

Soon, two more hours passed, and aside from the three Nirvana-stage warriors, no new ones appeared again. However, more Angels kept coming, most at the Domain stage.

Of course, Kent knew that despite the dead rising to aid in combat, the danger was still there, and that only seemed to increase when he saw more Angels coming out from the portals.

Kent didn't know how these Angels were coming from many portals instead of one. It felt like they were summoned by someone.

They only appeared when the Angel man that is currently locked in combat with the Paragon arrived on the battlefield.

Also, Kent seemed to grasp something that made him question whether this was still an awakening or an execution.

According to Atria, she and her Angel friends are on a mission from an organization called Heavenly Court. However, the tower made it plain to Kent that this is a world awakening where two worlds collide and fight for the right to live.

So, if that is the case, then why has the Heavenly Court interfered in it?

'Like I said, something fishy is going on, and I don't like it.'

Kent had been observing the battle for the past two hours, and from what he saw, the humans were fighting with everything they had.

Also, he noticed the dead rising to the occasion aren't like the undead but more like half-humans, half-undead.

He tried to scan them, but nothing showed. However, he knew that whatever ability the Necromancer used, the humans fighting weren't different from when they were alive.

After looking around for a few minutes, Kent chose to observe Paragon for a few moments and see something.

What he saw made him realize something that made him raise his brow.

'Tower, can you confirm with your new bestie if Paragon is fighting using his bloodline power? I can feel he has multiple bloodlines, but he isn't using them like I am doing.'

⟦Okay, master⟧

'If he is merely using the bloodline boost instead of actively tapping into his true bloodline power, then there's no telling what kind of monster he is.'

Kent's focus turned back to Atria, whom he had studied like an open book for the past two hours of combat, and now, he started to see some openings in her attacks.

This means Kent is finally making headway, and while he is out of his league, having a bloodline like his has made him extremely dangerous.

Kent moved back, his flame wheels leaving a trail of flames as he evaded a powerful stab that blasted a hole into a mountain 3 km away.

Then Kent conjured three clone bodies and swapped places with the first and unleashed an attack,

"Rapid Sword Slash."

The moment the 450 sword arcs appeared, Kent swapped with the second clone.

"Void Piercer."

A beam of sword light shot out, and before Atria could dodge, Kent swapped with the third clone and unleashed a wide arc, one that left the ground trembling when it landed on the shield Atria created from her spirit qi.

'It is all about timing.'

Kent teleported 8 km away and unleashed the 'Void Cleave' attack instantly. This time, Kent channeled so much killing intent that he forced Atria to also unleash an attack.

"Now!"

The moment she raised her sword, which Kent knew she would, he teleported and appeared behind her.

"Doom Shards!"

With a powerful stomp on the ground, a large shard burst out of the ground and shot at Atria, who was caught off guard. The Void Cleave reached her right when the Doom Shards also did.

This divided her attention long enough for Kent to do what he risked his neck for.

A sword appeared in his hand, and then with a powerful stab, he jammed the sword into the ground and formed a hand seal...

"Crimson Guillotine Array!"

The sky suddenly turned dark as thousands of swords appeared in the air and started moving like snakes.

Kent teleported back and waved his hand, causing 3,000 swords to shoot forward and create a diamond formation around Atria.

Her expression turned grim.

'I need a minute for the array to be complete, meaning I must find a way to hold her back from using any powerful attacks in the next 60 seconds.'

"You are much stronger than I expected... makes me wonder just how you must be feeling at the moment, knowing you couldn't even scratch someone six stages below you after two hours of combat."
