From Slave to King: My Rebate System Built Me a Kingdom With Beauties!

Chapter 90: Vrognut Meets Drekk!

The goblins were having fun when they suddenly got an unexpected visitor. There was a big fuss at the front gate.

Gribnox decided to check it out himself. The others were too busy having fun. If it was something he could handle, then that was fine.

He wouldn't want to stop the fun for something so small. He saw a goblin he didn't know.

"Who are you?" Gribnox asked. But the look in the goblin's eyes told him this goblin was the rebirth of evil.

But he wasn't the only goblin. Gribnox could smell others nearby.

"You finally came…" A voice said behind Gribnox. Gribnox knew this voice was Drekk's. But what did he mean by that?

"It has been a long time, Vrognut," Drekk said. This was a name Gribnox had heard.

Vrognut had a wicked smile on his face. He had changed how he looked completely.

He had shaved his whole head. He covered up the scars he had with mud.

Whoever the orcs had caught, it wasn't Vrognut. Vrognut knew long ago he was being followed.

They could hide themselves as much as they needed. But they couldn't make a horse stop its natural needs.

This included peeing. This was a thing the horse did many times.

There was no way the goblin with one of the strongest noses wouldn't notice that.

The whole point of the trail in the middle after the two goblins had split to scout the area was to hide their footprints.

Kraghul thought the horse-goblins had split and traveled down the middle together. But this was a mistake on their part.

The reason they split was to keep their main group, which traveled in the middle, safe.

It wasn't to scout as a matter of fact. Then they traveled down the middle back to the forces behind to hide the footprints of this small party that walked the whole way.

It made sense. But it also showed again how dangerous Vrognut was. His brain had grown to something that could easily outsmart the orc.

Gribnox couldn't move a muscle. The killing urge coming from this goblin made him feel like his knees were about to give out at any moment.

"You must have been to my home for you to have found me here," Drekk said. He shoved Gribnox out of the way. But unknown to Gribnox, this one act had saved his life.

Vrognut was about to cut off his head. Drekk saw through it because he could smell the blood of goblins on his skin.

"You could say that," Vrognut said with an evil grin.

Drekk knew right then that Vrognut had killed some of his men back at his mine.

But he couldn't complain. He had to swallow it. Gribnox was about to join those numbers if he didn't step in.

He could tell by his looks and the smell of the goblins around him that they were less than ten. There was no way he traveled with this group considering how wanted he was.

This must mean he lost goblins along the way. There was a chance the blood belonged to some of Vrognut's men.

But he had to throw out that chance. This smell was fresh. There was no way it could belong to his men.

The cruelty Drekk showed was something he learned from Vrognut. Vrognut was the real deal. This was why he was seen as one of the more extreme goblins.

Drekk was nothing compared to him. Drekk might have saved Gribnox. But it didn't come from a place of love.

Drekk cleared the way. Vrognut walked in. Then in came four other goblins. Among those four were the two goblins that were on the horses in the camp.

Vrognut had smartly swapped all their places. This was why Kraghul could kill those goblins easily.

The main fighters weren't there. The difficulty drastically reduced which was why the outcome favored the orcs.

There was no way Kraghul wouldn't have gotten a single scratch on his body.

-

Back at the orcs' town, there was a big fuss inside their stronghold. The goblin they thought was Vrognut had died.

He took his own life the night before. This was an action that Vrognut would never do.

The orcs were gathered around his cell. But Kragg joined them soon enough.

"What do you mean he is dead?" Kragg was shocked.

The goblin was no doubt Vrognut. It looked exactly like the poster. But Kraghul stared at the body of the goblin lying on the ground.

"Is he smiling?" A voice muttered. Kraghul looked at the body in front of him.

"He is…" Kraghul said before smiling. He realized what had happened.

"He is smiling because this isn't Vrognut. He played us," Kraghul said. By doing this, it made it impossible for them to catch up with them.

"What do you mean it isn't Vrognut?" Kragg asked. But Kraghul shrugged.

"It isn't him… It is one of his followers. These creatures would throw away their lives to protect him," Kraghul told him.

Vrognut was the closest thing to what a goblin was like. An untamed goblin with no rules to keep him in place.

Goblin King? Who cared about such a being? Not Vrognut. He had lived a life with no consequences ever since then.

There was no telling how twisted the leader of his territory was to allow such a thing to exist. But it was a clear sign.

-

"Fuck…!" Gribnox thought to himself the moment he realized that there was fighting going on. There was no doubt this goblin known as Vrognut would turn it into something else.

But Naruz was an orc. She should be fine, shouldn't she?

Gribnox hoped so because his worst fear had come true. He wanted to speak up and tell them. But Drekk shook his head.

Anything done would only make the situation worse. Even he couldn't stop Vrognut.

Gribnox could feel his heart pounding but he had to be brave, he had to prevent a massacre.
