But, just before I drank the blood, I had one last question.

We were in a large arena fitting for a king's audience, but the sky was literally just space and stars, nothing else.

"Where are we?"

"This place goes by many names. Heaven, Valhalla, a place you see when you reach Nirvana… But the real name that you mortals aren't aware of is, The Gods Plane,"

"That's… an interesting name. So, is this where the gods stay when they ascend into god-like beings?" I asked.

"Indeed, but there are also different factions of gods, so you can't really roam around much unless you're a supreme god or my boss, who is the greatest god to ever exist. She is literally just called God," The vampire explained.

"What is her name?" I asked as I wanted to tell the other girls about how I met god and even learned her name… which is obviously a lie but seeing their jealous faces would be very amusing.

"I can't tell you. It is forbidden to speak her name unless you're very close to her," The man said with a bit of sorrow in his voice.

It seems he's very loyal to his boss… I wonder how strong she is.

"Alright, just get it over with. I got other people to oversee and test,"

It made sense that he was getting annoyed with me since I was asking way too many questions, and it almost seemed like I was stalling, but I'm sure anybody would be curious upon hearing that you were in the domain of the gods.

Gulp… Gulp… Gulp…

The blood tasted so good that I shivered from the taste and the texture just added so much depth to the blood that I felt as if I was about to ascend to a different plane of existence.

[Your soul has been met with an outside force]

[Scanning outside force…]

[Outside force has been deemed absorbabal]

My chest felt like it was slightly burning, but it wasn't as painful as that skill extraction from before.

The need to absorb it was definitely there as if it had been subconsciously planted in my mind, and absorbing it honestly wasn't that hard.

The process was indeed very slow, but I was able to easily feel instructions flow through my mind, directing me in the direction of where the blood should flow in my soul and body.

It was an almost out-of-body experience where I was slowly placing each molecule of the blood in a certain section of my body.

"This is going to take a while," I muttered as I kicked up a few pieces of dirt on the arena below me and then sat down, still and unwavering, as I had set my mind on completing this process.

(Nell POV)

All of a sudden, as soon as Astra sat down in the middle of the arena, trying to absorb as much of the blood as possible, I was teleported away into a massive bedroom.

It had an edgy, dark red and black theme which I honestly didn't mind that much since everything was so fancy.

"Welcome, Master," A few voices suddenly greeted me from behind, and when I turned around, I saw one butler and three maids.

The singular butler had pitch-black hair and dark red eyes, which seemed to stare into my soul. His skin was the same pitch black that was his hair, and I could already tell that he was an amazing fighter.

He tried to suppress it, but some of that monstrous aura still leaked out.

Then there were the three maids behind him who had long black hair, pale white skin, and blood-red eyes, almost exactly like mine.

Their aura was also pretty similar to the butler, but theirs seemed much more bloodthirsty compared to him.

But I wouldn't say theirs was stronger…

"Are you my attendants?" I asked them, and the butler bowed deeply while the maids did a low curtsy with their large and frilly maid dresses.

"Yes," They all replied synchronized, but the butler then followed up with another statement.

"There are others, but we are going to be your main attendants for your stay here. Just tell us anything that you need, and we'll get it for you," He said before lifting his head.

"Then get me some food. I'm absolutely starving," I said, and they all bowed their heads once again before leaving, and I hopped into the bed.

I also need a change of clothes… this one is stained with blood. I should also probably not waste my time here by just lazing around.

"Guess I'll hit up the sparring area after I eat… once I find it, of course," I muttered as I looked out the window and immediately noticed where I was.

I was on a lone island that had a massive castle on top of it, and surrounding this island was a consistent night with three moons and massive dark waves that crashed against the rocky island.

I'm more like a prisoner than a guest here… but everything here is nice, so it doesn't really matter.

After only about half an hour, a seven-course meal came out, and the first dish was placed right in front of me.

A few dancers in beautiful dresses also came into the room and served as entertainment as I ate my food.

Even when I was back in the Bloodriver house and had my own amazing mansion, nothing was as grandeur and nice as this.

The meals, you could say, were very high quality, but it was just a singular dish with occasionally some dessert after.

My room was pretty bland, and despite it having tons of furniture, it was never as well-decorated as the place that I am currently staying in.

Plus, there are even dancers to entertain me as I eat… I don't think I'll ever be disappointed no matter how long I stay here.

"This first dish is made up of a few crackers from the zenzer plant that produces the highest quality flour in the universe. Then to match that, we have a few stuffed pakali mushrooms and some goat cheese which you must be familiar with," The butler said as he placed a fold-out table over my lap and stuffed a clean white cloth inside of my collar.

Completely starving, I didn't wait any longer to eat, but suddenly the stench of my blood-dried shirt lifted into my nose.

"I want to take a bath first, actually, and I need some new clothes. My bad, I should've told you this earlier," I apologized, but all the people in the room started to freak out.

"P-Please don't apologize. We're just lowly servants," The butler said before snapping his fingers, and all of a sudden, it felt as if my body had been thoroughly cleansed… including my insides.

My clothes had also been exchanged for a long and fluffy robe that was like velvet against my skin.

"Don't do that again," I said as cleaning the outside of my body was extremely handy but also cleaning the inside of me was the weirdest thing to ever happen to me.

"I apologize," The butler said before standing next to my bed; and only two maids stayed while the others left, and the dancers continued to dance.

"Where's the music coming from?" I asked as I took a bite out of the buttery cracker with the smooth and almost tangy goat cheese.

My mouth wasn't watering much before, but now it was practically like a flood filling my mouth.

"It is coming through a few tubes in the ceiling where the best musicians in the castle are playing. Would you like to see them, or maybe would you like to change the song?"

"No, it's fine," I muttered.

These dancers were better than any other show that I've watched for entertainment, so it doesn't really bother me that they don't have futuristic technology.

The rest of the dishes were absolutely delicious, and by the end, I was completely stuffed and satisfied.

"Tomorrow, a teacher will be coming to help you improve your skills. Apparently, this was something our Boss decided only a few minutes ago, so please rest up for the rest of the day and have a well night's rest," The butler said before exiting the room.

"Wait, one of you dancers, stay here for a second. I need to confirm something with you," I said, and as requested, only one dancer remained in the room.

"Is there anything you would like from me, Master?" She asked.

"I do have something I would like," I muttered before grabbing her arm and then sinking my fanged teeth into her skin.

I may not be of vampire descent, but I still have the vampiric trait to my evolution, so I can suck the nutrients out of some beings and increase their likingness towards me.

I'll use this girl to gather more information when I need it, so for now. I'll just keep telling her to stay until she fully respects me or falls in love with me.
