An hour or so had passed as Hazel and Astrid kept their eyes on the three prisoners. To pass the time, both players kept themselves busy. Astrid was currently organizing her equipment, like her arrows, throwing knives, etc. She also did some maintenance on her bow and even took a closer look at Olga's bow, meticulously scanning it to try and understand how it worked.
Meanwhile, Hazel was practicing her Telekinesis spell, levitating multiple objects while also reading from the Rune Crafting Book, not only learning more about the art of runes but also developing her multitasking ability. Even now, as she carefully read a paragraph from the book, she was also spinning several shards of stone around her in different directions. She wasn't even looking at the stones, and yet was easily rotating them with relative ease.
Astrid spared a glance at Hazel's intense training, a hint of surprise etched on her face. Even when she tried to look calm and collected, there were still bits of her expression that displayed her bewilderment.
[Astrid Skogr: Your Telekinesis training is certainly paying off.]
Despite the message panel suddenly popping up in her face, Hazel didn't lose her focus and maintained her Telekinesis spell. She then sent a response to Astrid while still focusing on her spell at the same time.
[Hazel Thatcher: I've learned that Telekinesis not only relies on Mana but also your mind and focus as well. While I'm capable of casting telekinesis on multiple objects, I've learned that by doing so, my focus is also split on each individual one. And if I focus more on one object, then my telekinetic effect on the others would weaken. Doing this helps train my focus and parallel thinking.]
[Astrid Skogr: ...I'm going to pretend that I understood most of what you but ask you to clarify your explanation.]
Hazel stifled a laugh, still focusing on the objects around her, including her book, while sending another message.
[Hazel Thatcher: The more I train my multi-tasking ability, the more objects I'll be able to have under the effects of Telekinesis. Does this clarify it enough for you?]
[Astrid Skogr: It does. Thank you.]
[Hazel Thatcher: No problem.]
While messaging Astrid, Hazel decided to take it up a notch and tried to perform another task while still keeping Telekinesis activated. And that was conjuring her Astral Eyes.
She summoned as many as she could at the moment, which was around five or six Astral Eyes, and then sent them to their respective locations within the Valiant Guild's territory. As she did, Hazel would then switch her vision to see what her astral eyes were looking at.
The first astral eye was located on the second floor of the Jetport building, where a good majority of the players were. She watched as the players walked around the floor doing various tasks, from cleaning, organizing, and even transporting supplies from one location to another. She then spotted her mother as she was currently healing several players who were severely injured from some kind of battle.
Hazel focused more on the scene, allowing her other sense, which was her hearing, to connect to her Astral Eyes so she could listen to what was happening.
"The number of Orcs is starting to become a problem," Evelyn stated while currently casting a healing spell on one of the players. "This is the sixth grouping of them we've discovered within the territory of the guild. It's possible that there could be a nest or somewhere near our territory."
It seems that the players who were injured were the result of a fight with a group of Orcs. And if her mom's statement was correct, there was a strong possibility that there was an Orc settlement located near their territory.
"Should we inform the guild leader about this?" One of the Cleric players asked, also tending to an injured player.

Evelyn shook her head. "She's already dealing with other things at the moment. Though we should probably tell Kane or John about this."
Judging from Evelyn's expression, this situation appeared to require more than just average players to deal with it, which was why she was considering getting Kane or John to investigate the situation. This was a smart move since such a problem needed to be dealt with quickly. If the Orc settlement was allowed to grow any further, it was possible that the Valiant Guild could be invaded like before.
"What about the Veiled Witch?"
Both Hazel and Evelyn paused while processing the player's words just now. Then, Hazel's mother finally spoke up.
"Are...you referring to my daughter, Hazel?"
The player nodded. "Yes. If it is her, then she should be able to find the source of the problem. I remember witnessing her fly around during the spider horde as she killed the monsters with her spells. She was like a war god or something, slaying her enemies in an instant. Not only that, but I heard that she took on the spider queen herself and slayed it without the assistance of the guild leader or even Kane or Anais."
Hazel didn't know how to process this kind of information. Was that how she was viewed during the battle against the spider queen and her horde? She couldn't say that the description was inaccurate. Especially the part where she was flying around and slaying the spider horde as they made their way to the checkpoint.
Of course, Hazel only did that out of a desperate attempt to keep the horde at bay. If those spider sentinels hadn't thrown those pieces of debris and temporarily blinded them, she wouldn't have had to do that. Sadly, there was no undoing this decision. What was done was done. No use trying to fret over her actions in the heat of the moment.
However, she was a bit concerned and curious about her title. That being the Veiled Witch. She was given this name due to her appearance and class. But a part of her felt that there was more to this little title than just those.
Putting that thought aside, for now, Hazel focused back on the conversation.
"I'd rather not bother my daughter with something so troublesome," Evelyn said calmly. "Especially when this is a guild matter, and she hasn't made her decision to be part of it. If I ask her to do this, it would be like I'm forcing our issues onto her."
Hazel knew what her mother was getting at. Even so, if it were a request from her parent, she would do it in a heartbeat. The fact that she was a guild member or not didn't matter to her in such a situation. But she still understood why her mom was hesitant to ask for her assistance. This was a guild issue, and since she wasn't part of the Valiant Guild, this wasn't her problem to try and fix.
Of course, that didn't mean Hazel couldn't try. Thankfully, she had one of her Astral Eyes doing something akin to patrolling their territory, so she could keep an eye on anything strange that might catch her attention. So, while looking through her other Astral Eyes, she also used one of them to search for the Orc settlement to see how bad the situation was with them.
Moving on, Hazel changed her vision and switched from the second floor of the Jetport Building to the third floor, where Zoe, Anais, and John were currently located. As for what they were doing, they were discussing their plans regarding the meeting with the Battle Breakers Guild.
"So, where exactly should we meet this guild?" Zoe asked John.
The gunslinger soldier mulled over the question, rubbing his chin. "It will have to be a place where we won't have to worry about ambushes and must possess plenty of escape routes. In terms of privacy, I doubt we could get one of those in such a short time, so we should simply focus on having multiple ways to leave the location. So, I would suggest the same place this whole thing started."
"The hospital?" Anais chimed in. "Are you sure that's wise?"
John nodded. "It's the one location that both Guilds are aware of and can be used as a sort of neutral ground for the meeting. Plus, I've been there plenty of times and know most of its layout, so it is the most ideal place for us to go to since we know its structure."
Hazel couldn't help but admire John's tactical prowess. The best location was a place you know like the back of your hand. And since John possessed prior knowledge of the hospital's layout, then this was the perfect place to establish a meeting.
Zoe pondered over John's suggestion for a moment before turning to her. "Are you certain that this place is good for our meeting?"
John nodded. "I do."
Unable to come up with a better option, the Knight sighed. "Alright, then we'll set the meeting at the hospital. We should go and inform Nick and the rest of his party regarding our decision."
"What about Hazel and Astrid?" Anais questioned. "Will they be joining us?"
"It's up to them to make that decision, though I believe they will be a bit busy getting answers from the other dark elf."
"I believe it would be wise to leave the dark elf to Astrid," John suggested. "They already have history, and from how she reacted, Astrid will likely get some answers from her former companion."
After making their decisions, Zoe and the other two made their way over to the exit, likely so they could go to the second floor. As they did, Hazel changed visions once again to observe the rest of the Guild's territory.
