My Magical System

Chapter 311: Her voice is lovely as well!

"Spring, huh?" Eman muttered as he looked at the beautiful dazzling sun in the sky along with Eina and Zennie. Now that he thought about it, many things have happened since he arrived in this world.

He started reminiscing about the past when Eina suddenly bolted inside the mansion. After a minute, She returned, dragging with her the confused Claire.

"What is it?"

"It's a surprise, Aunt!"

"Eh?"

When they arrived outside, Eina said, "Tadahh!" She pointed to the sky.

"Oh, the sun is out. It's warm and beautiful."

"Hehe," Eina grinned.

Inside a room, Klaus Smith stopped staring at the piece of paper when a ray of light penetrated the window. He put the paper on the table and walked in front of the window. He opened the curtain and let the full-blown light enter the room. A torrent of warm light showered directly onto him like a flood stream.

"Mhm, what a nice warm…"

When he glanced below, he saw Rossbert and the guards of Lady Zennie in training. They stopped for a moment and looked above, appreciating the sunlight.

It also revealed that the paper that Klaus left on the table contained a rough design of what seemed like guns. It was Eman who made it and gave it to Klaus Smith. His intention for doing that was clear as day. He wanted to push forward the creation of rail guns.

The other people in the village also embraced the morning with a light smile.

"Come to think of it, this torrent of light, how good it is if a gun shoots like this, no?" Suddenly, Klaus Smith muttered.

At noon of that morning, as stated by Eman, Sol arrived in the village. Zennie was startled at the strange flying creature that Eman was talking about. It didn't look like a bird or a dragon. Parts of its body were blazing in emerald fire. And the most striking part was its face. It looked like the face of a human.

Its body and face had a similar dark greyish color, making the blazing emerald fire very attractive.

No matter how Zennie searched in her mind, she couldn't find any animals or any creature that resembled this one.

But since she was an indoor type of person, it was understandable for her knowledge about the world to be so limited. She turned to her two companions, Rossbert and Liz, for help, but the two were captivated for another reason.

Just then, a very young woman in a black dress jumped off from the flying mount's back. They saw Eman help her.

A beaming smile appeared on Sol's face when she saw Eman's face. Eman was still troubled about what kind of expression he would show. But anyway, it seemed unnecessary because Sol easily shifted to her merchant daughter facade persona.

Eman secretly admired how good she was in it.

"Thanks for coming, Sol," he said calmly.

Sol smiled. "It's a favor asked by a friend, there's no problem."

The two then shared a light smile. "Oh, yeah. Let me introduce you to the— eh?" When Eman turned around to introduce Sol to the group, he was shocked by the expressions on their faces. All of them looked awestruck by something.

Rossbert and Liz looked enchanted by the unusual beauty of Eman's visitor. Although Zennie was also a super beauty, Sol's beauty could be said to be uncommon, especially in the empire. Just at a glance, one could tell that her roots didn't originate in the empire.

Looking at their expressions, Eman understood their bewilderment. The capital itself contains different kinds of people with different kinds of culture, but all of them have one thing in common. Their appearance looked like Westerners in his previous world. On the other hand, Sol looked like an Eastern beauty.

Now that Eman thought about it, based on the information he gathered, each of the great noble families in the Empire seemed to follow a different culture as well. Like for example the Gentlewind clan, their culture is straight out of a Chinese cultivation-type novel he read before.

The Goldenlotus clan was a little the same as the Gentlewind clan, with the only difference being their dress code. On the contrary, the Skyblaze family was different from the two aforementioned clans. The Skyblaze was much closer to Westerners in his former world.

Come to think of it, it was only with Zennie and her co that he felt how people from Isekai world should act and look.

"Greetings, are you perhaps the person Eman mentioned?" Zennie was surprised at how gracious and beautiful the person in front of her was. Looking at her appearance, she probably was of the same age as her, or if not, might be a year younger. Her well-defined face and long silky black hair are very attractive.

Zennie's question took back everyone's attention.

Hearing her question, Sol graciously smiled. "Yes. Then I take it that you're the noble lady that he mentioned to me."

'Her voice is lovely as well!' Zennie exclaimed internally.

"Yes. It's a pleasure to meet you, uhm…"

"Sol Reia. It's my name."

"Uh. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Sol Reia. My name is Zennie Rothsport. From the Rothsport clan."

Hearing the two, Eman quickly intervened. "My, let's go inside. I don't think it's proper to just stand outside while talking about something important," he insisted.

"You're right."

"You're right, Eman."

The two ladies agreed with him.

Eman then faced his mount. "Thank you, Sphin."

"It's my pleasure to serve my master."

Eh?!

"It can talk!?"

Zennie and the others were startled when they heard the mount speak like a human.

"Hehe…" Eman chuckled and said, "Sphin is a mysterious creature."

He could not disclose that it was one of the results of EDP's (Elder Dark Priest) search for knowledge.

"Oh~ no wonder I don't know its origin. How about you, Miss Liz, and Mister Rossbert?" Zennie passed the question to the two companions who both shook their heads at the same time.

"With all my experience in adventuring, this is my first time encountering such a creature!" Rossbert said in haste. On the other side of Zennie, Liz was nodding her head. It seemed it was her first time seeing such a thing either.

With a flick of his finger, Sphin disappeared in thin air, leaving everyone in a flabbergasted state.
