The Paranoid Elf Queen Turned Me Into Her Sister

Ch. 64

64 – Sanctuary of Sacred Wood

A warm updraft lifted her linen hem, and with her shoes laced snugly around her heels, Teresa landed lightly on the grassy field—the sound of her step no louder than a footfall on cotton. Her golden hair swayed with her descent, catching the sun like sunlight falling across ripened wheat—radiant, pure, and glowing.

Upon landing, she tapped her toe against the ground. Her long, well-shaped legs stood perfectly straight. Bare save for her shoes, her legs glowed like alabaster under the blazing sun. Her snowy-white insteps and the flawless, pearlescent neatness of her toenails were fully exposed. Together with the satin strands of hair cascading to the backs of her knees and her curvaceous silhouette, she was the living embodiment of the goddess of beauty’s favor toward High Elves.

Her upper body was clad in simple linen, concealing her skin entirely—yet completely failing to hide her “assets.” As she moved, her bosom—pressed together like water-filled pouches—jiggled with each step, a stunning, snowy-white allure that left all eyes ensnared.

Teresa gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. With her wheat-braid trailing behind and her elegant stride, not even her threadbare clothes could conceal the air of nobility that radiated from her.

Her emerald-onyx eyes gazed straight ahead. Translucent gold lashes fluttered like a dragonfly’s wings.

The distant black dots gradually sharpened in her field of vision—thanks to her Elf sight, she could already make out several familiar faces.

They were coming for her. They knew where she was.

“Not hiding anymore, Teresa?”

Their voices now carried clearly across the short distance. Irene sneered at her, mocking.

“I thought you’d keep huddled in the forest, trying to stretch out your survival time as long as you could.”

“But it doesn’t matter either way. You’re leaving this tournament with a score of zero.”

“Isn’t this going a bit far?” said Laro, eyeing Teresa from head to toe with naked greed. His gaze roamed across her snow-pale skin and the valleys that seemed deep enough to drown in, his suppressed lust on full display. “We’re classmates. No need to push this so far.”

“Laro,” Irene shot him a cold glance, “there’s a time and place for when your lower brain should be doing the talking.”

“Come now, Irene. What’s there to fear?” Laro grinned, eyes still fixed on Teresa. “She’s just one girl. I’d imagine that, rather than fight us head-on, she’ll make the smarter choice.”

“Here’s what I propose, Teresa—” He tilted his head slightly. “We won’t eliminate you. Not yet. In exchange, you’ll agree to join my team later. What do you say?”

“What nonsense are you babbling?” Irene snapped. “Laro, have you completely lost it? Don’t tell me you’re falling for this stray Divine Princess?”

“So? What do you say, Teresa?” Laro ignored her, locking his gaze onto Teresa like a predator eyeing fresh prey.

Though they appeared to be a united team, each of them harbored their own ambitions.

To Laro, this was just a temporary alliance—one that would dissolve the moment the Crown Tournament ended. Irene was nothing more than a pawn of convenience. He had only cozied up to her because she was beautiful and came from a good family. But after spending some time around her, he couldn’t stand her arrogant, self-centered airs. She acted like the entire team had to revolve around her.

Teresa, on the other hand, was something else entirely. Since her Divine Awakening, she had become ethereal—far outshining Irene in beauty. Next to her, Irene was nothing more than a foul-tempered hag.

True, Teresa’s background was less than glamorous—but that just made her easier to control.

Stray Divine Princesses like her, desperate for recognition, often carried an inferiority complex. With a few sweet words and big promises, Laro was confident he could lure her into bed. And afterward? Add a few more stray Divine Princesses and a girl Divine Child into the mix, and his party would be under his complete control. Hell, it’d be his very own harem.

Laro smiled smugly to himself, unaware that Teresa’s bowstring was already humming.

While he was busy spinning delusions of grandeur, Teresa was wordlessly testing the string on her longbow, utterly ignoring him.

“Laro, shut up already. Can’t you see that stray Divine Princess isn’t even listening to you?” Irene snapped.

She scoffed as she saw Teresa pulling the bowstring—without an arrow.

“Teresa, did you hit your head? You show up to the battlefield with a bow and no arrows?”

Before the words had fully left her mouth, a golden light burst at Teresa’s bow eye. A glowing arrow trailing golden starlight shot forth, slicing past Laro’s shoulder, severing a few strands of his hair.

“You—!”

Laro’s eyes widened. That arrow had come within half an inch of his skull—he could feel the heat as it brushed past his face. His rage erupted.

Teresa stood tall, her toes pointed, one knee slightly bent. Her gaze lifted, emerald eyes calm and unshaken.

“That arrow was just my declaration of battle,” she said, golden hair fluttering as she pushed it behind her back. “I won’t be aiming wide next time.”

“You ungrateful whore!” Laro roared, abandoning all pretense of nobility.

To him, for a nameless stray Divine Princess to refuse his offer was nothing short of insubordination.

“Enough talk. Let’s get her out of Coleman Academy.” Irene raised her whip coldly. Her eyes swept over Teresa’s cheap linen garb with scorn. “No Divine Authority Domain? What’s the point of even Awakening if you can’t use one?”

“To defy a proper Divine Princess—you clearly don’t know your place!”

Laro summoned his Domain and Divine Authority. Dressed in a martial uniform with his chest exposed, he clenched his knuckle-dusters and charged at Teresa.

Meanwhile, Irene’s little sidekick wasn’t idle either—she raised her hand crossbow and took aim.

Three Divine Princesses vs. one.

The odds looked hopeless.

But Teresa’s eyes lowered slightly. Her voice was soft, carried on the wind. Her shimmering hair lifted slightly as her lips parted in a chant.

Divine Princess Domain: [Sanctuary of Sacred Wood]

Unleashed.

Golden patterns wove across the earth, tracing suns and lyres. Radiant sunbeams wrapped around her like wind infused with the essence of nature. Her high, clear chanting resonated.

“What—?!” Irene’s jaw dropped. “She has a Domain?!”

The chanting faded. Teresa’s clothing transformed before their eyes. A butterfly pin with blue and golden edges shimmered at her temple. Her braid was tied with silver ribbon, which trailed into two silver streamers down her back.

She now wore a sleeveless top, pure white with accents of vibrant green, exposing her porcelain waist and smooth arms. Gold-thread embroidery shaped the bust into a subtle corset, and the elven-style design revealed a snowy valley and an exquisitely defined collarbone. Two long, feather-like white mantles trailed from her back, gilded at the edges, blending with the soft golden waves of her hair.

A pure white pleated skirt edged with gold lace fluttered lightly in the breeze.

She wore thin, translucent green gloves that looped over her middle fingers, each adorned with golden rings. The gloves stretched up to her elbows, complemented by delicate golden bracelets on her wrists—accentuating the elegance of her arms.

Her legs, long and graceful, were wrapped in pristine white over-the-knee stockings. The tops were edged with golden lace, and the stockings used a stirrup design that left her heels and toes bare. Her feet, smooth and pale as polished jade, rested lightly on the soft grass. One of her toes was ringed with a golden band.

White stirrup stockings hugged her thighs all the way to the roots, her flawless feet exposed to the air. The graceful arch of her foot curved just right, her pale soles kissed by the grass.

She had become divine incarnate—
