An uneasy and angry roar erupted, and the crack on the Giant Flame Beast's forehead suddenly expanded. A strong red light spewed out from it, transforming into flames that swept towards El. The flames were not merely flames; they contained large fireballs the size of human heads. These fireballs mixed within the flames constantly smashed towards El.
Black wind horns rotated, breaking an opening in the flames, and El charged through with his spear. The returning fireballs kept hitting the wind horns or brushed past El's body. The high temperature coupled with the intensely condensed power of the fireballs barely kept El's protective Wind Force from being breached several times. Luckily, El's speed was incredibly fast,
El attacked the crack on the Giant Flame Beast's forehead within the sea of flames, while Shu outside was not idle. He continuously injected Wind Force into the threads, making the already incredibly resilient threads even more tenacious, temporarily preventing the Giant Flame Beast from breaking free, thus giving El more time. Despite that, the Giant Flame Beast struggled with immense power. Even though Shu constantly output energy from his body, the Giant Flame Beast still slowly freed itself from the threads' constraints. The threads were so resilient that even the Giant Flame Beast couldn't break them, although freeing itself was indeed possible.
Just as he noticed the Giant Flame Beast was gradually freeing itself, Shu was taken aback. With his right hand guiding the threads, his body suddenly plunged downwards, disregarding the high temperatures surrounding the Giant Flame Beast, and approached boldly, wrapping more circles of threads around the beast's six legs. This made the threads' grip even firmer, making it exceedingly difficult for the Giant Flame Beast to break free despite its boundless strength.
Within the sea of flames, the roar of the Giant Flame Beast nearly deafened El. El uttered a low growl, his figure accelerating rapidly, as the swirling Wind Force around him deflected all incoming flames. The pitch-black long spear glowed intensely with black light and whistling Wind Force, suppressing the continuously attacking flames.
Like a dragon, the long spear roared, piercing through the flames, attacking the crack on the Giant Flame Beast's forehead. The fierce aura at the tip of the spear drove the Giant Flame Beast almost insane, as its constant roars echoed, while flames continuously erupted from the crack. Two beams of red light burst from its two red eyes, but as soon as they touched the black light on the spear, they were torn apart like paper meeting scissors.
With a low roar, the black wind horns plunged into the crack on the Giant Flame Beast's forehead amidst flashing red and black light. Countless flames and Wind Force erupted outwards, shooting in all directions. The Giant Flame Beast's six eyes stared fixedly at El, wishing to devour the little creature whole, but it was immobilized on the ground while El's spear struck its forehead.
The hard and sharp spear tip pierced into the crack, producing a crisp metallic clashing sound, as enormous shock force backfired onto El, making him spit a mouthful of blood. He hadn't anticipated the Giant Flame Beast's bones to be so hard; even with full force, he failed to break through its skull.
A roar erupted from the crack on the Giant Flame Beast's forehead, releasing an even more intense red light, which contained a faint golden glow. Quickly, the golden light rendered the red light into a golden-red glow, which transformed into golden-red flames. This type of flame immediately intensified the heat further. As the golden-red flames emerged, the Giant Flame Beast's red eyes turned transparent golden-red instantaneously, unleashing an unparalleled majesty from the beast, accompanied by a powerful force.
As the golden-red flames approached, El's protective Wind Force was instantly broken. Despite his continuous activation of the long spear, the black light couldn't suppress the golden-red flames. The enormous shock force sent El flying through the air before he could even scream, followed by a trail of golden-red flames pursuing his trajectory.
The flames around the Giant Flame Beast began slowly transforming into golden-red hue, subtly but making the beast even more violent, with force a hundred times greater than before. With just a few struggles, the Giant Flame Beast easily freed itself from Shu's constraints, standing up from the ground. Its six eyes rolled in a circle before locking onto Shu, spewing a stream of golden-red flames towards him.
Seeing the golden-red flames rushing towards him, Shu turned to flee as if he'd seen a ghost. He didn't want to come into close contact with such obviously dangerous flames. While escaping, he flicked the threads in his hand, directly stabbing toward one of the Giant Flame Beast's eyes. The threads were already extremely fine and transparent, and after Shu infused them with Wind Force, they almost became invisible; only Shu could clearly see them, anyone else would need intense focus to discern the threads. At this moment, the Giant Flame Beast's focus was entirely on the retreating Shu, not noticing the thin and nearly undetectable thread piercing through its golden-red flames and approaching closely.
Without making a sound, the thin thread directly embedded itself into the middle eye of the Giant Flame Beast. Shu wasn't aiming at those eyes turned golden-red, as he couldn't be sure if there was some mystery to them, so he chose one of the four ordinary eyes.
Eyes are inherently sensitive areas, so the sudden thread penetration caused the Giant Flame Beast to let out an earth-shaking roar, full of pain and anger. However, before the roar could end, Wind Force condensed on the thread abruptly erupted, completely shredding the eyeball into a mass of pulp.
Yan Hong's scorching blood flowed out from the Giant Flame Beast's eye socket. The beast roared in pain, ignoring the eye wound and chasing after Shu. As a dominant force, the Giant Flame Beast had never suffered such a loss; wounded by such a small being, its anger was indescribable.
Chasing closely behind Shu, the Giant Flame Beast ceaselessly spewed golden-red fireballs from its mouth trying to annihilate the pesky adversary. Yet, the Wind Element Superpower User's movement technique was incredibly agile, boasting Tang Mu's true indications; Shu and El's mastery over the wind had reached remarkable levels. Now pursued by the Giant Flame Beast, Shu transformed into the wind itself, rapidly dodging its attacks.
Having just shaken off the residual gigantic shock force, El finally extinguished the golden-red flames that entangled him. Uttering an angry roar, El's malicious intent was roused, and he transformed into wind, holding a spear as he charged towards the Giant Flame Beast. He no longer contemplated killing the beast in a single strike; all he desired was to slay the monster.
The spear moved like a dragon, and El like a fierce tiger, issuing a piercing cry that echoed through the heavens and earth.
No sooner than the pursuing Giant Flame Beast heard the cry, it sensed an icy chill creeping up its back. Before it could turn to react, El's spear shattered the golden-red flames on the beast's back, slicing open a one-meter long wound, spewing fresh blood like a fountain. Though the wound wasn't deep, the black light on the spear carried an extremely sharp aura, penetrating the beast's thick skin and flesh, striking its internal organs.
The Giant Flame Beast roared in pain as flames on its back surged skyward, attempting to incinerate El into ashes. It flicked its tail, hurling massive fireballs. However, El had long anticipated this move; after landing a successful strike, he immediately fled, not foolishly lingering to receive an attack.
Realizing that the two bothersome little things were circling him in opposite directions, the Giant Flame Beast found itself unable to cope with their deceptive strategies. Although it had gained some intelligence, it was still unable to manage such complex situations. El and Shu exploited their speed to divert the Giant Flame Beast's focus.
Confounded by their rapid movements, the Giant Flame Beast constantly roared in fury but found itself helpless against the two. If El and Shu had fled in a straight line, keeping pace would have been no issue for the Giant Flame Beast, but now they merely circled it. Given the beast's massive body, catching up with the duo proved infeasible.
