The city was in chaos, filled with the roars of beasts mixed with the wails of people, curses mingled with cries. Some wanted to retreat, others wanted to advance; some withdrew without a fight, while others charged forward relentlessly. In this chaotic city, no one could achieve what they wanted. Those trying to advance were blocked by those retreating, and those wanting to attack were halted by the fleeing soldiers.

Watching helplessly as their comrades were dragged away by beasts, torn to shreds, their blood and flesh scattered across the ground. The bloody scene made those who were already retreating even more broken; they screamed, crawling on all fours, trying to bypass the people and buildings blocking their way. In any situation, those who desert in battle bring enormous trouble to planned strategies, and Yu'an City was facing its most significant challenge. If these people could have been effectively organized at the first moment, they might have been able to stop the beast horde outside the city. But some had already collapsed when the beast horde arrived, and when the beasts broke through the iron gates, they completely lost their nerve. The dual-gun youth led a group of Superpower Users in the front, breaking through and continuously pushing back the invading beasts, while ordinary people covered from behind, killing any stray beasts. Some whipped up a whirlwind among the beasts, lifting them into the air before smashing them down heavily. Beasts collided with beasts, yelping helplessly. The Water Element Superpower User raised a tidal wave on the ground, driving the beasts toward the city outskirts. The squad led by the dual-gun youth had tremendous lethality, quickly fighting their way to the city gates. The youth continuously pulled the trigger, firing fireballs into the city gate passage, killing all beasts inside, then yelled loudly.

"Earth Element, hurry up and seal the city gate, don't let the outside beasts come in. Move quickly." The youth was very clear-headed; as long as the city gate passage was sealed, the beasts would lose their source of reinforcement. With the city beasts exterminated, relying on the city walls to resist the Beast Tide would be much easier.

With the youth's shout, four Superpower Users emitting an earthy yellow glow immediately burst from the squad. They swiftly formed a four-person formation, facing the city, pressing their hands to the ground. The earthy yellow glow flowed into the ground along their hands. The battle inside the city was intense, and outside, Babu and others, hearing the sounds from the city, started moving towards the city gates.
