The heavy red light, accompanied by rolling heat waves, surged forward as flames erupted from the mouth of the red beast, striking towards Babu and his group of seven below. The beast that suddenly appeared was one possessing Fire Ability, and its timing was impeccably cunning, precisely as Babu and his group were preparing to retreat.

The roaring flames swept forward; even before they got close, the oppressive heat wave had already roasted several beasts surrounding Babu's group. The remaining beasts let out cries of distress and hurriedly scattered in all directions. These beasts, when facing Babu and his team's deadly attacks, could charge forward without hesitation. With Babu repeatedly attacked, Jigick and the others were furious. Their previously serene eyes brimmed with anger, their cold, impassive expressions twisted. Three of them roared, the black light from their wooden spears erupted sharply, surging towards the two beasts. Where the black light passed, it shredded the surrounding vegetation with keen breath.

The two beasts were equally smart, not daring to confront head-on, slowed their pace, and then twisted, opting for a flanking pursuit of Babu and his group. Their deviation gave Babu and the others a chance to breathe; within less than two breath cycles, they retreated behind the traps they had set. With the protection of traps, they breathed a slight sigh of relief, but facing such ferocious beasts, they dared not relax, quickly heading towards Yu'an City. The only chance to survive was to enter the city, not via official channels, but climbing the walls to get in. Even if they wanted to enter through the gate, it's impossible; the people inside would never open it for them, rendering the two iron gates ineffective against such fierce beasts.

Sometimes fearing something seems to attract it; thoughts of numerous Fireballs' explosions flashed through Babu's mind. Suddenly, those Fireballs brightened, exploding one after another, an overwhelming roar echoing, waves upon waves of shockwaves compounded, propelling Babu and his group rapidly backwards, causing them all to spray mouthfuls of blood simultaneously. The taste of blood filled their mouths, leaving Babu and his group incredibly uncomfortable. Before they could fully recover, the gust of wind sounded from behind.

The Horned Wolf's attack arrived.
