Despite the many questions Corey had for the Pope, he was not truly bothered by all of those questions.

The question he really wanted the answer to was...

"Where's my sister?"

"Hmm?" Pope Arzhel tilted his head slightly with a confused expression.

"Your sister? What was her name again? Was it Ava? Abraham? Sarah? Nora?"

Pope Arzhel had a 'genuinely' baffled expression as he 'struggled' to remember Anna's name, and Corey's face became more and more devoid of all emotions the longer the Pope continued.

"Ah! I remember now! Her name was Laura. How could I have forgotten?"

Pope Arzhel slapped his forehead, and then he chuckled at Corey.

"My bad. My bad. I don't know how I could have possibly forgotten Laura. You know, I'm a very old man, and the number of people I've dealt with can be numbered in the billions. It's not easy for me to recall the names of everybody... especially an insignificant mortal."

Pope Arzhel's lips curled up, and Corey smiled with a soft and brief chuckle. He nodded his head slightly, and then a second later, he vanished.

CLAP!

BANG!

BOOM!

Pope Arzhel chuckled as he placed his two battle axes in front of him, blocking Corey's Genesis Armament which hummed with a desire to slice off his neck.

"Dear o dear. Boy are you one with anger issues. I thought we were having a friendly conversation."

"I'm going to kill you... today."

Corey said with a cold tone that could freeze the deepest parts of hell, and then he stretched out his left hand.

A black battle battle axe appeared in his hand, and Pope Arzhel's eyes widened slightly when he saw it.

Just as the black battle axe appeared, he swung it at the Pope's skull, fully intending on cracking it in two.

CLANG!

However, just as his axe was about to reach the skull of the Pope, a dark red helmet suddenly appeared above the Pope, blocking the axe.

Corey grunted from the recoil of the attack, and then he vanished and reappeared dozens of meters away from the Pope.

Pope Arzhel was about to swing one of his battle axes at Corey, but when he saw that Corey was no longer in front of him, he threw it when Corey appeared dozens of meters away from him.

Barely a second passed after Corey reappeared dozens of meters away from Pope Arzhel, and then he saw an axe flying at him at a speed his previous self would not be able to react to at all.

Corey placed his Genesis Armament in front of him, but just as the Pope's axe was about to slam into his Genesis Armament, the Pope moved his hand, and the axe curved.

It increased in speed and curved round Corey's Genesis Armament. It went for his neck, and Corey's eyes widened when he saw this.

He hurriedly placed his black battle axe in front of his neck, and then...

Clang!

Both axes collided, and Corey stumbled backward, nearly falling on his feet.

A drop of blood fell on the ground, and Corey touched the side of his neck. When he saw the cut on his neck, he frowned.

"You really are good. A shame we're enemies, I'd have loved for you to be my disciple." Pope Arzhel said while holding out his hand to the side. His battle axes flew into his hand, and then he threw it into the air and caught it with a smile.

"I really don't want to kill you, boy."

Corey's head tilted slightly. "The feeling is not mutual."

Pope Arzhel scoffed, and then Corey swung his Genesis Armament to his left.

BANG!

BOOM!

"Don't tell me you've forgotten all about me, insect." Anton said while pushing his sword against Corey's Genesis Armament.

Corey frowned as a wave of death qi was released from Anton's sword which had a hilt made out of bones.

Been so close to a wave of death qi should have weakened him, but the Crown of the Lifeless Sovereign flashed to life above his head for merely a second, and Anton's wave of death qi was broken by Corey's release of death qi.

The moment Corey released his death qi, he deactivated the Crown of the Lifeless Sovereign since he could sense a sort of clash between the two crowns.

The current crown on his head which he obtained after fusing with the world tree and the Crown of the Lifeless Sovereign were completely incompatible, and Corey had a feeling that if he used both crowns at the same time, he would suffer terrible consequences he could not afford to at the moment.

And this was currently not a problem for him.

After destroying Anton's death qi with his, the runic tattoos on his arms glowed brightly as his strength increased.

"What?"

Anton's eyes widened in shock as he felt himself been pushed back. Before he could react, Corey raised his right hand, and he coated his fist with everything he had and also his telekinesis which he obtained from his Undying Will.

BAM!

Corey punched Anton with everything he had, and the young leader was sent flying into a tree.

Whoosh

Shiiing!

The sound of an object slicing through the air drifted into Corey's ears, and his body swayed slightly.

A flaming arrow pierced through his head, but the arrow drew no blood, and then the image of Corey dissipated.

'An after image that nearly fooled my senses?'

Pope Arzhel's eyes flickered with surprise as he shifted his gaze to the real image of Corey who was running toward him with the same indifferent expression he had from the beginning.

However, the priest of the Temple of Darkness and the Tier 6 Mage suddenly appeared behind Corey with their weapons aimed at him with killing intent.

"Don't you dare forget about-"

"Scram"

Corey uttered one word just as the priest was speaking, and the priest and mage found themselves bound in the air, unable to move in the slightest.

Corey had his arms crossed, and his hands glowed with a dark light as his telekinesis pulsed.

Two hands holding the priest and the mage flashed into reality, and then Corey squeezed. They screamed in pain, but that was not enough to kill them, and Corey knew that.

He threw them like pieces of trash, but a second later, multiple phantom axes appeared midair, and then the priest and mage were cut into pieces.
