Water erupted around the Winter Beast as the flamingo frantically tried to employ its water-lock technique. Liquid tentacles shot forward, attempting to trap the creature before Arthur could reach it. The shallow sea churned violently as the legendary beast channeled its domain's power into capturing this suddenly critical target.
But Arthur and Aetherion were too fast.
Whoosh!
The void dragon's spatial manipulation allowed for instantaneous repositioning. One moment they were fifty meters away, the next they materialized directly beside the Winter Beast. Before the water-lock could fully form, the Winter Beast leapt onto Aetherion's broad back.
Thump!
The Winter Beast settled between Bloom and the Cackle Queen, its compact form fitting comfortably among the other legendary summons. Ice began forming around its body as it prepared to contribute its domain abilities to the ongoing battle.
Now four legendary beings rode upon Aetherion's wings. All of them united against a single opponent.
Whoosh!
Aetherion teleported them away from the flamingo's retaliatory water attacks, his powerful wings carrying the entire group back to a safe distance within the compressed domain.
The Tidal Flamingo stood alone in the shallow water, its twin heads tracking their movements with growing desperation. The legendary creature's four eyes reflected the terrible realization of what it now faced.
Four legendary-rank beings plus a dragon capable of mythical attacks, all coordinated under a single commander's direction. The numerical advantage had become overwhelming.
Splash…
The compressed domain trembled with tension as both sides prepared for the next exchange, knowing that the battle had reached its critical phase where only one side would emerge victorious.
---
With the Winter Beast secured on Aether's back, Arthur felt his confidence solidify into certainty. Despite the Tidal Flamingo possessing a powerful domain and formidable water manipulation abilities, the legendary creature wasn't truly overpowered—not compared to what Arthur brought to this battlefield.
With three SSS-Rank talents in his body, it would be a genuine embarrassment if he lost to an opponent merely two levels higher, even accounting for the domain advantage. His Primordial Summoner talent also provided four legendary-rank allies with a primordial dragon. His Space talent granted mobility that transcended conventional physics. His Lucky talent ensured favourable outcomes in critical moments.
And he still hadn't deployed his shadow—his living extension that waited patiently for the perfect opportunity to strike. That hidden card remained in reserve, ready to exploit whatever opening presented itself.
Arthur was absolutely sure of victory.
Splash... Splash... Splash...
The Tidal Flamingo's twin heads began weaving with increasing intensity, and Arthur's enhanced perception immediately detected something different about the creature's movements. The water around the legendary beast started swirling with unprecedented violence, gathering in quantities that dwarfed anything it had manifested previously.
Arthur's eyes constricted as he recognised what was happening. This wasn't another standard attack—this was something catastrophic, a technique that required enormous mana expenditure to execute.
Splash! SPLASH! SPLASH!
The peaceful shallow sea transformed into a churning maelstrom as the flamingo channeled its domain's full power into a single devastating assault. Water rose in massive columns around the creature's position, each pillar containing enough compressed liquid to flatten buildings. The columns began merging together, forming a singular aquatic construct of apocalyptic proportions.
Arthur had seen this pattern before—the Winter Beast had employed a similar desperate gambit during their previous encounter, pouring vast amounts of mana into one overwhelming attack designed to end the battle decisively.
A smirk formed on Arthur's face as understanding crystallised. The flamingo was exhausting itself, committing resources it couldn't afford to waste on an attack that wouldn't connect. He simply waited, watching the legendary creature's ultimate technique take shape with patient confidence.
SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!
The Tidal Flamingo, which had expected immediate evasion or desperate defensive countermeasures, hesitated for a split second as it registered Arthur's complete lack of concern. The human wasn't even attempting to flee or prepare defences—he was simply hovering there with that infuriating smirk, as if the approaching cataclysm was nothing more than an amusing distraction.
Confusion flashed across both heads before transforming into incandescent rage. This human was clearly underestimating it, treating the flamingo's most powerful technique with casual disrespect!
"SHRIEEEEK!"
The legendary creature's fury manifested in the attack's intensification. More water gathered, more power compressed, more mana channelled until the aquatic construct reached truly fearsome proportions. What had been merely devastating became potentially apocalyptic as the flamingo's wounded pride demanded absolute annihilation of its arrogant opponent.
SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!
The attack took form—a massive tsunami compressed into a singular point, containing enough destructive force to obliterate everything in its path. The water glowed with supernatural energy as the flamingo's domain amplified its lethality beyond normal physical limits.
Then, with a final shriek of rage and desperation, the Tidal Flamingo launched its ultimate attack directly toward Arthur and his assembled forces.
CRASH!
The compressed tsunami exploded forward with speed that defied its massive size, the water moving like a solid wall of destruction that consumed everything in its trajectory. The sound alone was deafening—a roar of liquid fury that echoed across the compressed domain like thunder trapped in a bottle.
The attack covered the distance in heartbeats, growing larger and more terrifying with each meter as it drew upon the domain's ambient water to fuel its expansion. By the time it reached Arthur's position, the tsunami had transformed into an aquatic apocalypse that seemed capable of washing away mountains.
And Arthur simply smiled.
"Aether," he said calmly, his voice carrying complete confidence despite the approaching catastrophe, "show our friend why spatial manipulation trumps his pathetic elemental control."
The void dragon's obsidian eyes gleamed with anticipation as he activated one of his most versatile defensive abilities.
"Quantum Existence!"
Reality fractured around Aetherion and everyone riding on his back. Space itself folded in layered dimensions, creating a protective cocoon that existed partially outside conventional physics. The effect was immediate and dramatic—their forms became translucent, ghostly, as if they had stepped sideways into an adjacent dimension while remaining visible in the primary reality.
CRASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!
