The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 360- Aetherium

BANG... The Jester-Jester was greeted by a punch that sent him flying hundreds of meters away, where he came to a stop only after slamming onto the mountainside. Of course, as a demon, such damage was nothing for them.

Within a couple of seconds, it was already healed and back in front of its master.

Sharp claws jutted out of the hands of the old woman, who then proceeded to cut her hand, which had now caught the white fire thanks to helping the Jester-Jester earlier. The arm that was cut off instantly disintegrated, and a new pair of arms regenerated in place of that.

"Who told you to stay there when I clearly ordered you to get away? If not because of your ancient bloodline, I would have left you to die."

The Ninth Heavenly King spat in frustration. Though she was outwardly fuming, inwardly she was quite shocked. To be able to kill a demon without even targeting its actual body, what kinds of absurd skill would one need to have to accomplish a feat like that?

As I thought, this man is dangerous. I could tell ever since I laid my eyes on him in that underwater ruin.

As it turned out, the one who was spying on Reinhardt when he killed one of the Demon Generals under Skarnyxx, Drezzle, was none other than her. Of course, she used the Ultimate demonic Treasure to spy on them from far away.

As such, even with the Divine Paladin's acute senses, he couldn't track it back. That said, it was impressive that the other party was even able to sense her.

"Looks like only the ones with the ancient bloodline can handle him."

She had seen what happened to Malcroth and Skarnyx, who despite her warning, went with the plan. The death of the two Heavenly Kings, while it wasn't as big of a blow the humanity was making it out to be, it was definitely not something they would like to happen, especially at a delicate time like this.

"It looks like it will still take time for the Main Force to return. Till then, we cannot make any more rash moves. While it stings that I was not able to get Aetherion's Supreme Divine Treasure, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future"...

"Especially with Eight's masterplan that is about to bear fruit. That kingdom will play a pivotal role for the Forces of the Darkness to completely destroy humanity in the future."

The Ninth Heavenly King suddenly revealed a wicked grin that made her look truly demonic.

.

Back inside the house, Jenea, who had finally stopped crying, didn't seem like she had any intention of letting his clothes go.

Well, she was just a child so he didn't mind. Anyways, with her finishing her bawling, he could finally talk some sense into her.

"Did you steal that thing because you wanted to heal your Grandma?"

The girl nodded her head, looking down.

"Do you even know what it is? Or what it does?"

She was about to nod her head again, then she realized that whatever the demon said to her was all probably a lie. The thing in her hand was no unparalleled healing treasure. In that case, she didn't know what this thing was.

Jenea shook her head.

"The thing in your hand is one of the most powerful Divine Treasure that the humanity possess, the likes of which there are only seven in this world. They are the final resort and the last weapons left by the seven old gods for humanity to rely on in their final hours. The demons would do anything to steal one of these out of our hands."

Reinhardt pointed at the dark purple globe; no, at the Aetherium in her hand. While humanity might still be searching for a way to use these highly advanced weapons and treasures from the ancient times, he could already see what they are and how to use them thanks to the [Eyes of Divine Clarity].

"I believe I don't need to explain what would happen if humanity loses one of these rights?" Humanity has already lost one. If they lose the remaining ones too, there would be nothing stopping the Forces of Darkness from taking over humanity anymore.

When she heard those words from him, she obediently handed him the treasure that she had stolen. For some reason, every time he talked, she just nodded or shook her head as if she had gone mute.

"While I do understand why you would mistake it for a healing treasure, there will still be a punishment for you for stealing a treasure as important as this".

It was because of the immense divine energy that the Aetherium released that Jenea believed it was a treasure that could heal any illness.

Hearing that she would be getting punished, panic surfaced in her eyes. In the end, she nodded again, coming to terms with her fate.

"Let's head back. I think everyone in the capital would be panicking right now, because of the missing Supreme Divine Treasure." Reinahrdt grabbed the hand of the little girl, and together they teleported away.

.

.

It was an attack of unprecedented scale and was something that hadn't occurred ever since the Battle of the Black Tide. Humanity had lost one more of its Supreme Divine Treasure; one could imagine the kind of panic the meeting hall was in.

Even Vaerion sat there in his seat with his gaze blank. Where did it go wrong?

Everything was going well, the plan although involved a lot of risks, managed to purge the cancer like existences that were the demons and demon worshippers, from their kingdom.

However, in the process of purging the demons, they lost something that was extremely important to humanity.

Present in the hall were also the royalties of other kingdoms. They sat by the side while providing solutions every now and then.

"By the way, where is Reinhardt?" The Queen of Solaris suddenly asked.
