Chapter 3901 - Peak Bloodlines of the Universe
"I'm doomed! It's over for me!" Qin Feng lamented nonstop as he rapidly piloted the ship toward the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins. "My senior brothers and sisters are all dead! Even if I manage to run to the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins, my father and my clan will not be able to escape my master's judgment! They'll all perish!"
Qin Feng slumped to the ground at that thought. He knew how the wonderians were. They were an odd race, especially when it came to cruelty and stubbornness. They would not accept letting others walk over them in the slightest.
"Are you stupid? Just tell him that you coerced into this!" Tianming said.
"Oh, right!" Qin Feng snapped alertly back and wiped his nervous sweat away. Then, his entire body shook when his transmission stone rang. He hurriedly picked up the call and saw a pale, almost completely white giant projected above it.
"What happened?!" the giant said with a loud voice, applying pressure on Qin Feng through the transmission stone.
"Hehehehe.... Nothing much. I hijacked the divine astralship and wiped out some unruly upstarts. That's all," Tianming said, smirking in the distance.
"And who may this be? Give me a name," said the pale cosmic god, shocked.
"The name's Die, Li Die." Tianming turned to Qin Feng and hollered, "Fool! Cut the call and focus on the ship!"
"Master! Save me!" Qin Feng cried one last time before attempting to cut the call.
"Since you dared to lay a finger on us wonderians, I expect that the faction you represent is ready to be wiped—" the pale cosmic god was cut off before he could finish.
"It's fine now, right?" Tianming said.
"It's fine... it'll be fine...." Qin Feng had no tears left to shed. He knew that conflict would arise during the journey, but he didn't expect that Tianming and Moran would be so swift and thorough in how they handled it. They didn't even bother to talk and killed everyone.
Though, on further thought, the wonderians were so arrogant that they would kill anyone who triggered them, no matter how slight. There was no way any de-escalation could have worked, so killing them all simply sped up the process.
Qin Feng was certain that his master would track them down. Fortunately, they didn't have imperial-class astralships either, and a normal maniverse-class ship wouldn't be able to make much headway in the pursuit. Tianming and the rest had been traveling for half a month before the incident, after all.
"By the time we reach the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins, it'll be about time for the Heavenly Dao Arena to descend. As long as you obtain the heavenly punishment protection seed, things will end well!" Qin Feng said.
"Oh? What's that?" Tianming buckled up and prepared himself to learn about his next destination.
"The power of the Heavenly Dao is far reaching in this universe. Even ten-kilometer-tall cosmic gods wouldn't be able to endure it!" Qin Feng's eyes were filled with reverence and worship.
"Alright, just keep piloting!" Tianming continued with his cultivation. With the wonderians dead, the ship was much quieter than before. Tianming naturally didn't leave their treasures unclaimed. He had to nurture the denizens of the Sun and countless others in the imperial capital, so he wouldn't pass on even the little things.
Another two weeks passed without Qin Feng's master being able to catch up. Tianming asked Qin Feng, "You said that your master went to the Midsky Tristars before this, right?"
"Yes!" Qin Feng honestly answered.
"Don't tell me your master has an artifact called the Worldgazer Skyeye...."
"How’d you know?"
"By coincidence." Tianming smiled at how Qin Feng's master inadvertently lost both his precious treasure and disciples to the same person. Before Qin Feng could say anything else, they noticed a colorful brilliance up ahead.
"That light is coming from astralships...." Tianming recognized the stunning sight. While the glow of ships couldn't compare to that of worlds or Middlekin Star Ruins, there were quite a lot of ships gathered at the same spot, most of which maniverse-class ones. Qin Feng's Maplegod was but one out of many. They had arrived at their destination.
"My Maplegod has to stop at the outer ring. Otherwise, we'd be discovered easily," Qin Feng said. Though he was the crown prince of Maplegod, his status was among the lowest of the low at the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins. Being allowed to go there was already treatment that he considered a privilege.
"Alright." Tianming decided to be more careful and shake off the sacred lord, who was no doubt still in pursuit of the Maplegod.
As they approached, they saw a dense black-and-gold mist ahead. It was something Tianming found familiar. The mist shrouded far more glowing ships than the eye could see.
"Within every ship are geniuses who hail from maniverse-class worlds from the peak bloodlines of the universe! Most of them belong to the Eightpart Pantheons." The members of the pantheons enjoyed far greater privilege than the smaller factions across the Upper Star Ruin. Even a low-tier bloodline among them had bright futures ahead of them if they developed well and without issue.
Qin Feng, on the other hand, was among those who didn't have an impressive future waiting for them. The best he could hope for was running errands for the elites on orbiter worlds.
They stopped near the outer circle and got out of the ship, leaving it there in the void of space. Tianming found that rather awkward, even when he wasn't too concerned about someone taking the ship.
"The Upper Star Ruin is where true galactic civilization flourishes." The Ancient Flameyellow Ruins were the exception to the rule that most other locales in the Upper Star Ruin were connected by the wormhole expressway. The black-gold area spanned a wide region. They advanced toward it as they admired the ships of various designs ahead.
"The Skydeer! What an amazing design. This is the ride of the maniverse-class geniuses from Saturatia-49! The couple might be in there right now!"
"Divinimystic... a top-class ship of the elite from the Ninefold Hellstar, but I can't quite remember his name. That skull design of the ship is truly badass!"
Qin Feng couldn't stop talking about the ships like a bumpkin visiting a big city for the first time, but Tianming couldn't care less. The ships were indeed decent, but even the high-maniverse-class ones weren’t worth comparing to the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb.
"The entrance is right ahead!" Qin Feng said.
