“Who are you?” Firework was taken aback.

“I am Zu An,” Zu An replied with a smile.

Firework felt chills running down her spine. “Your voice...”

Zu An's voice remained the same despite having disguised himself as Firework using Pin Ru’s Wardrobe. But he took out the Kawaii Waifu Voice Changer and called a staff member over.

“Miss Firework, is there anything you need?” the attendant respectfully bowed.

Firework was baffled. She wasn’t the one who'd called the staff member over. After the staff member was dismissed, she examined the item in Zu An’s hand and asked, “Is this a voice changer?”

“You can say so,” Zu An replied sweetly.

Firework was baffled. It was the same voice as hers! She snatched the voice changer over and studied it. “But the voice isn’t coming from the machine.”

“It’s coming from my throat,” Zu An replied with a smile.

Firework walked over and placed a finger on his throat. “Huh? I don’t see a voice changer here.”

They were so close that Zu An could smell her fragrance. He instinctively took a step back before replying, “This is my voice now.”

Firework’s eyes flickered as she tried to make sense of the situation. “Your ability requires you to first fool a person with that voice changer before it can take effect, right?”

“You’re sharp-witted,” Zu An complimented her. He didn’t think there was a need to conceal this piece of information.

“That’s an interesting ability.” Firework scrutinized Zu An from head to toe, but she couldn’t find anything that could give him away. “I've seen similar abilities, but it’s usually not too difficult to see through them upon close inspection. But you look as if you were carved from the same mold as me!”

Curious, she first squeezed his chest before attempting to lift his skirt to inspect beneath.

Horrified, Zu An hurriedly backed off while holding his skirt down. “What are you doing?”

“I’m checking if you've turned into a woman.”

Zu An was speechless. This woman knows no shame.

Not wanting to dwell on this topic, he asked, “Do you think Fluttering Baldie will teach me if I ask him in my current state?”

“Of course. You’re sporting the look of an unrivaled cosmic beauty right there! How can he possibly reject you?” Firework gleefully harrumphed.

“Let me give it a try.” Zu An wanted to dive into it, since the journey wouldn’t take too long.

“Hold on,” Firework suddenly stopped him with a frown. “You aren’t planning to do anything weird with that baldie, are you?”

Zu An rolled his eyes in annoyance. “I'm not that perverted.”

“Tsk! I can tell from your demeanor that this is far from your first time cosplaying as a woman. If you aren’t a pervert, no one else is.” Firework clicked her tongue.

Zu An was stunned.

“This won’t do. Just thinking about it sends a shudder down my spine. I can’t let you sully my reputation.” Firework crossed her arms as if overwhelmed by goosebumps. She passed him a pendant. “Wear this.”

“What is it?” Zu An asked as he received the pendant.

“Think of it as a camera. Ah, it's similar to your world’s projection mirrors. It allows me to see what’s happening on your side, lest you use my appearance to do something perverted with that baldie.” Firework’s vibrant, subtle expressions fully showcased her youthful cuteness.

Zu An wanted to turn down her request, but he thought it would be ungrateful of him to do so. Besides, there was no way he would do anything with that baldie, so he had no qualms letting her watch their interactions. So, he wore the pendant around his neck.

The sharp-eyed Firework remarked, “Oh? You’re already wearing another pendant. Let me take it for you lest that baldie notice something.”

Without waiting for Zu An’s answer, her hand swiped for his pendant.

The vigilant Zu An dodged her hand by turning sideward. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll just put it in my clothes.”

He tucked the pendant under the dress. How can I entrust the pendant to someone else when the Jing Teng sisters are in there?

Firework was surprised. “You’re stronger than I thought.”

Even though she hadn’t gone all out earlier, her movements were so fluid that most people would have fallen for it. Yet Zu An had avoided her swipe with astounding ease. Such skills could only be honed by weathering many life-and-death encounters.

That made her smile deepen. Looks like I've put my bet on the right person this time. That cripple is going to suffer a huge setback.

“It’s only because you went easy on me.” Zu An smiled. “I’ll be heading over now.”

Firework waved her hand. “Go ahead. I’ll wait for you here.”

Zu An felt uncomfortable leaving a stranger alone in his room, but on second thought, even though this room was styled identically to Mount Yuquan’s residence, it didn’t contain any of his possessions. There were no secrets to be leaked in this room, so he decided to leave her be.

He soon arrived outside Fluttering Baldie’s room. He knocked on the door and was met with an impatient voice asking, “Who is it?”

“It’s me~” Zu An was amazed by how sweet Firework's voice was.

The door swiftly opened. The sight of Firework brought a smile to Fluttering Baldie’s face, but he quickly remembered something and scanned his surroundings.

“I didn’t bring that person with me.” Zu An knew what he was searching for.

“That’s good.” Fluttering Baldie’s smile deepened. “Miss, what brings you here?”

“You said you weren’t willing to teach that man, so I came back alone to learn by myself.” Firework’s voice was so sweet and cutesy that Zu An was getting goosebumps from hearing himself speak. Hmph! I’ll tolerate it for the sake of learning other languages!

Fluttering Baldie was perplexed. “I thought you weren’t interested, little sister Firework?”

“Can’t I change my mind? Are you going to teach me or not?” Zu An crossed his arms coyly.

Meanwhile, Firework watched everything through her screen. She was so amused that she rolled around on Zu An's bed. I must record this piece of dark history and use it against that fellow in the future. What fun!

Fluttering Baldie was mesmerized by the two massive volumes propped up by Zu An’s crossed arms. “I’ll teach you. I’ll teach you.” He led Zu An into his room and closed the door.

Zu An’s heart shuddered. I won’t let myself be humiliated if this fellow tries anything, even if I don’t learn any languages at all.

Firework lay on Zu An’s bed as she kicked her legs in midair. “Should I help Zu An if Fluttering Baldie tries to take advantage of him?”

She thought it would be interesting to see two men getting steamy, but at the same time, she would feel as if she was also being taken advantage of, since Zu An was disguised as her.

Zu An surveyed Fluttering Baldie’s room. It could hardly be called a room; it felt as if he was standing in the middle of space with brilliant stars around him. He could even clearly see several galaxies in the distance.

Fluttering Baldie noticed her expression and smirked in glee. “Knowledge worshipers have already explored most worlds. Only the boundless universes are worth further exploration.”

Zu An took this chance to shower him with compliments before requesting him to teach him other languages once more.

But Fluttering Baldie replied, “Miss Firework, I hope you won’t think I was being stingy earlier. Further association with that man could put me at risk of danger. I heard Fire Knight contacting his companions using a remote language. They will soon make a move. That lad isn’t even a match for Fire Knight alone; he won’t stand any chance when Fire Knight’s companions arrive. If you continue hanging out with him, you'll also be implicated.”
