Chapter 3744: And Havira?
Gango kept guarding the place, just in case any other Demon Beast appeared to make any questions while Rean’s group worked on the formation.
Rean, Zangeshu, and Tanxan were thankful for that, and they basically let Sister Orb keep watching Gango himself. Who knows if the guys try something else, right?
"Most of the runes lost their power, and a good part are already broken beyond repair," Zangeshu commented, checking the runes up close.
Tanxan took one of the runes that detached from the formation, using a few devices he brought with him to check. "It isn’t too much of a problem. We don’t intend to fix this formation anyway."
Rean agreed with him, checking the core of the formation. The core was also broken, but it was enough for him to extract some of the necessary information. "Zangeshu, the runes on your side should be directly connected to this core. Their positions seem to be what dictate the way the Great Void Shifter Formations work. I’ll pour some energy inside. See if the runes there react to it."
Rean added his Divine Energy, and sure enough, many runes on Zangeshu’s side lit up, although most still did nothing due to their state. "Yes, these ones are likely used to manage the destination."
"There is a good thing here, too," Tanxan commented from the side. "The rune I collected was responsible for the management of energy. Perhaps the amount of energy this rune of mine uses can help us find which localization runes are responsible for each destination."
"Good!" Rean and Zangeshu were happy to hear that. "Sister Orb, record everything."
[On it!]
And so, the trio continued their work.

Back in the Floating Land, Ploto-Ume had a hard time placating Wergal’s anger. The guy was still fuming with what happened at the formation. In the end, Ploto had to make it known that Kentucky was actually his son after convincing Wergal to keep his mouth shut about this secret.
Wergal glanced at Kentucky, who scratched the back of his head. "Vavalia just wanted to keep me here. She didn’t realize how strong my friends were."
"Hmph!" Wergal accepted it, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t angry anymore. "Vavalia, you were the one who almost killed me. Can you imagine what would have happened if the news of your mistake had spread around our Demon Beast Races?"
Ratria dropped her head down. "I’m aware, Wergal. Demon Beasts aren’t exactly very good with alliances. It could have resulted in its collapse. And I also know I’m luck that they held back because of my son here. You also have your kids, so I hope you understand."
"What I don’t understand is why you wanted them dead?" Wergal had his doubts. "With their strength, shouldn’t you actually be happy. They will be a great asset to our war." Too bad he didn’t know the twins’ group would be leaving soon. "Such talent... they are destined to be even stronger once they reach the Divinity Realm."
"Yes, I know that," Ratria couldn’t tell that they had a way to leave the Universe. "Still, you saw it. Humans... you can’t expect me to trust them that easily. But they let you go, they haven’t revealed the existence of this place, and my kid is even more adamant about their character. It was all my mistake, everything."
Wergal could feel that there were some things they weren’t telling him. "You sure that’s all?"
Ploto intervened. "How about I give you that piece of Deep Blue Stream Sapphire you asked me so many times? Would you let this matter end here? I can promise you that although she had her doubts, she did what she did because of our son, nothing else. And those three are definitely trustworthy, their actions proved it."
Wergal’s eyes lit up, looking around and seeing the formation was still up. No one heard what Ploto said other than those inside. "Are you for real?"
Ploto felt a pain in his heart, but he nodded. "Yes..." Then, a tiny blue item appeared in front of Wergal, coming straight from Ploto’s Pocket Dimensional Realm.
Wergal caught it, and he immediately felt his connection with the laws of water getting closer. There was no doubt that the item was genuine. "Hehe! We are all in this together, are we not? I’ll drop this issue here for the sake of the Demon Beasts Races."
Wergal quickly turned around, leaving the formation and the area in an instant, afraid Ploto would go back on this deal. For that sapphire, he probably would drop half of his life.
Ploto looked at the place where Wergal disappeared. In the end, he turned to Ratria, shrugging. "There goes a very good card of ours."
"Sorry..." Ratria understood that.
"What was that thing?" Kentucky and Frife-Ni couldn’t help but ask.
"It’s a very rare item, something very hard to find in an entire Universe, and there might not be one at all. No one really knows what the right conditions are for its birth, but its uses are very simple," Ploto explained. "They make your connection with Water Laws a lot closer. Whether for cultivation or combat, it is definitely worth having. I don’t think I will be lucky enough to find another one of those again in my life."
Roan, who was inside the Dimensional Realm, heard that. He couldn’t go out anymore because Rean and Kentucky were way too far from each other, definitely far more than just a single Light Year. Nonetheless, he could hear what they could through Sister Orb. ’Reminds me of my pill a little. I wonder if there is one for Dark and Light Laws...’
"I see..." Kentucky nodded, but wasn’t very interested. Sure, it was definitely priceless, but since he doesn’t use Water Laws, it didn’t hold much importance to him. "Oh, let me ask you something else. I should have done it a long time ago, actually. Just what happened to Havira?"
Havira was the Golden Crow Spirit. She was the one who gave the twins one of Frife-Ni’s feathers and also told them where to find the two Minokawas and Kentucky’s brother. Not only that, she also gave them the vial with a God Realm Expert’s Blood. In the end, she fled from Universe F956, and there was someone pursuing her that appeared momentarily but left straight away.
