Chapter 1328: Two Matters

“I’m here to discuss two matters. The first is regarding the Heavenly Venerable cultivation place we visited before, which has now disappeared. We will no longer be able to go there for training,” Domain Lord Liuli said.

“You’ve broken through to God Monarch?” Domain Lord Liuli exclaimed in surprise. “Looks like this training trip was quite successful. You’ve made the breakthrough to God Monarch, and now Heavenly Spring God Territory gains a new powerful ally!”

The elders exchanged glances, and eventually, Gou Huang stepped forward and said, “Master, we still don’t believe it. If he truly has this strength, we’ll accept him as Vice Domain Lord, but if he doesn’t, we won’t accept it.”

“Is that so? What would it take for you to accept it?” Domain Lord Liuli asked, not surprised. She would have thought the same way too.

“It’s simple, just have him fight me. If he can defeat me easily, we will accept him as Vice Domain Lord. But if we’re just about equal, or if he only slightly surpasses me, we will not accept him!” Gou Huang declared sternly. “If he can’t even defeat me, how could we accept him?”

Domain Lord Liuli could easily crush them, but if they couldn’t even beat Gou Huang, how would they accept him?

Domain Lord Liuli turned to Yi Tianyun and smiled. “Almost forgot to ask, are you willing to become our Vice Domain Lord?”

“I’d be happy to,” Yi Tianyun smiled. He stepped forward and said, “Since Gou Huang has said this, we’ll follow his method. If I can’t settle it with one move, I’ll voluntarily step down from the position of Vice Domain Lord!”

The challenge with one move would prove his strength, otherwise, it would indeed be hard to win their approval.

“Good!” Gou Huang said solemnly. “At first, I was going to say three moves, but since you’re so confident, let’s make it one move!”

Defeating Gou Huang in three moves would already prove strength, but one move? That would be comparable to Domain Lord Liuli, or even stronger!
