As he said those words, his fingers gently unwrapped, revealing a slimy palm that had no trace of any ring on it.

"You...are you playing with me?!" Cao Li roared in anger at the sight. It was only now that she realised that it was the same hand that he had spat on a moment ago.

"So, what if I’m playing with you...you bitch!" Yi Chen snorted.

The next second, pouring all the anger and frustration he had suppressed into his right hand, he smashed it right over her face, rubbing the remnant mucus-laced saliva all over her face.

"UGHHHHHHHH!"

As the strong smell invaded her nostrils and the wet sensation slithered through her face, Cao Li’s eyes widened in disgust as her entire body shivered.

A powerless screech left her mouth, but Yi Chen only gloated in her misery, making sure to cover the entirety of her face, not sparing even her mouth.

"ACK!"

She tried to spit the disgusting smell out of her mouth, but it was of no use. Completely overwhelmed by the sensation, she finally lost control of her bearing, her eyes turned white, and she lost consciousness the next instant.

"That’s not even an iota of what you bastards deserve..." Yi Chen snorted in disgust before washing his hands clean.

What he had told her earlier about keeping her alive was naturally a lie he made up so that she would cooperate until the end.

’So that’s what he sniffed...’ Yi Chen thought while narrowing his eyes in an attempt to open the powder’s status. He was curious to know exactly what this powder was.
