Does this ancient dire wolf perhaps live somewhere close to the ravine?

Not able to stop this thought from appearing as she watched the ancient dire wolf disappear for a second time, Scaly could not help feeling that she had been incredibly lucky to not accidentally run into the ancient dire wolf during the time she had been out hunting for food before having gone to sleep inside the former squirrel home.

At the same time, it also made her realize that it would be best for her to get away from her current location as fast as possible. Especially because it seemed like the ancient dire wolf was in the process of hunting for food.

Even if she had run into the weaker ancient dire wolf without it attacking her back at the ancient dire wolf mountain, she wasn't dumb enough to believe that this new ancient dire wolf would leave her alone if it managed to spot her.

"Now that you say it… I do remember chasing that lizard for a bit before it disappeared… I never thought we would run into it after setting out on an expedition after failing to catch it."

"Now that I think about it, I did hear quite a bit of people talking about selling its scales to some nobles at a high price back then…"
