GROOOWL-!
As the mountain gnoll champion charged forward, it didn't show the slightest bit of fear and hesitation that it had shown earlier when standing at the edge of the bog. Instead, only showing a profound killing intent, as it confronted the intruder daring enough to barge into its tribe so brazenly.
Compared to back then, it was now inside the territory of the tribe and there was no way for it to just retreat and allow the boggator to rampage inside the tribe. Understanding very well that if it did something like that, it would result in a large number of mountain gnolls dying.
Even if its strength was inferior, it wasn't alone, while the boggator was all by itself.
Not just that, but the most important thing about the mountain gnoll champions confidence in confronting the boggator was based on the fact that it had not yet realized that a certain dragon had already made it inside of its tribe before it had arrived to confront the boggator. The only ones who noticed Scaly rushing into the camp were the few mountain gnolls who had been out guarding the tribe against any potential attack from her.
Of course, because of the boggator, most of these mountain gnolls had either ended up injured or dead when the boggator came chasing after Scaly. Resulting in none of them getting the chance to inform the rest of the mountain gnolls about Scaly's presence by the time that the mountain gnoll champion arrived at the scene and wasted no time in starting a battle with the boggator that it perceived to have invaded its territory and attacked its tribe for no reason.
Well… It didn't entirely think that it was for no reason. Suspecting that one of the mountain gnoll hunters that had been dispatched to continue searching for Scaly and keeping an eye on the bog in case she had managed to hide in there, had ended up accidentally entering the bog before getting discovered by the boggator.
In case that happened, it was understandable that the boggator attacked the mountain gnoll tribe. After all, as they had lived as neighbors for such a long period of time already, it already knew about the mountain gnoll tribe, as it did leave its bog to hunt every few months.
The only difference from back then and now was that the boggator that was hunting for something to fill its stomach always kept a distance from the mountain gnolls. Knowing that they weren't that easy to mess with, something that it seemed to completely disregard at this point in time, as it was roaring angrily and starting to clash with the mountain gnoll champion who barely managed to hold back the boggator and stop it from causing any more damage than it already had.
Phew~ Looks like I managed to avoid being spotted by the mountain gnoll champion…
At the same time that the two powerful monsters began to clash with each other in the middle of the tribe. Destroying countless houses in the process, Scaly was letting out a sigh of relief as she watched the two clashing with each other from the roof of a rather shabby looking wooden building that functioned as some sort of food storage for the mountain gnolls.
Unfortunately, the only thing she could see through the countless holes in the roof and walls was a large amount of some kind of grain of sorts. Not the dead body of a heavenly lake serpent that part of her had hoped to find after realizing that the shabby building was for storing food.
In turn, it did cause her to focus her full attention back on the battle that was playing out between the two powerful monsters.

[Mountain Gnoll, Merchant, lvl 17]
[Mountain Gnoll, Great Hunter, lvl 57]
Well… Not exactly focus on the two powerful monsters, but more so the countless mountain gnolls running around them like headless chickens. Panicked over the sudden arrival of the powerful boggator that was now causing no small amount of damage to the tribe.
Even worse, they also clearly noticed that the mountain gnoll champion was losing the battle between the two, as the boggator was pushing it into a corner. Making the weaker mountain gnolls panic even more than before, while some of the stronger ones tried to lend a hand to no avail.
In the end, by the time that the powerful mountain gnoll shaman and the mountain gnoll lord arrived at the scene to lend a hand in dealing with the boggator, the battle had already destroyed more than a dozen mountain gnoll houses and killed close to a hundred mountain gnolls too slow to move out of the way.
ROOOAR-!
But although these two powerful mountain gnolls were finally able to make the battle slightly favor the mountain gnolls, it didn't really stop the boggator from continuing to rampage through the tribe as it fought off the powerful mountain gnolls, who had no way to keep it fighting them in one location.
Whoosh~
Taking advantage of all the chaos caused by this battle and also the fact that all of the powerful mountain gnolls began gathering towards the place where the battle against the boggator took place, Scaly silently moved down from the roof she had been hiding on top of before making her way over to the devasted parts of the tribe that the boggator had just recently passed through-
Growl…?
Swish!
Ptsh-!
[Gained 534 Exp]
And without any hesitation, she began killing off any of the mountain gnolls she encountered. Most of whom had already been injured by the boggator not long ago.

[*Ding* Reached level 21]
Allowing her to easily kill off a large number of mountain gnolls by following behind the chaos created by the boggator as it continued sweeping through. Starting to once again increase her level, as there was no lack of injured mountain gnolls for her to kill.
In the process, she also made sure not to move too fast. Avoiding detection by any of the stronger mountain gnolls, who were luckily far too focused on dealing with the boggator to turn around and see what happened to the places that they passed through.
Growl! GROWL!
However, this did not last forever, as one of the injured guards who had been among the few who had seen Scaly enter the tribe disregarded his own safety and rushed up screaming something at the mountain gnoll lord who had just been forced back by the boggator, causing it to turn around and look directly at Scaly as she killed off one of the injured mountain gnolls that had just managed to get up after being knocked down by a wall that had collapsed down on top of it.
GROOOOOOWL-!
Seeing this, the mountain gnoll lord instantly let out an enraged growl that caught the attention of the rest of the powerful mountain gnolls, who in turn also turned around to see Scaly freezing on the spot upon being caught in the act of killing one of the injured mountain gnolls.
Busted… Guess it's time for me to take my leave…
Feeling the killing intent of all the powerful mountain gnolls locking on to her Scaly didn't intend to stay around inside the mountain gnoll tribe any longer than necessary.
Swish~
So… In a single decisive move, she turned around and escaped before any of the mountain gnolls came to exact revenge on her for what she had done.
ROOOAR!
At the same time that she began to make her escape, the boggator, confused by why the attacks had stopped, turned around and similar spotted Scaly… And a few seconds later, it followed the mountain gnolls charging towards the escaping Scaly.
In the period of a few short seconds, the mountain gnolls and the boggator seemed to have engaged in some kind of truce, as they all began chasing after Scaly together without attacking each other.
All of them seemed to have understood that Scaly was their common enemy and decided to first catch and kill her before they would go back to fighting each other again. Especially the mountain gnolls, who realized that Scaly had killed far more of them than the boggator had done.
After all, the boggator never deliberately targeted the weaker mountain gnolls, while Scaly did targeted the weaker and injured mountain gnolls.
Just in the short time she had spent trailing behind the battling boggator and mountain gnolls, she had ended up killing more than a hundred mountain gnolls.
Even worse, not all of those mountain gnolls were the weaker ones, as there was a decent number of level 50 mountain gnolls among those who had died. Having joined the fight against the boggator, only to end up injuried and forced to fall back.
Unfortunately, these brave mountain gnolls would never recover, as they instead ended up being killed by Scaly, who was more than happy to encounter these stronger mountain gnolls…
