The next morning, I awoke outside of Mia's embrace but tucked into the sheets. I quickly darted my eyes around the room, trying to find my lover, and well, I didn't have to look much longer as soon found her beautiful figure lying right next to me.

She was awake, laying naked on her stomach whilst typing on her laptop sunk into the mattress below us. Tha fan was running crazy from the uneven surface, but Mia looked too invested in her work to even attempt to stop.

"Oh! You're awake!" Mia's ears perked up as she rolled over onto me and shut her laptop, making sure nothing could interfere with our intimate time. But I also came to the sudden realization that I was also naked, so I felt her pure warmth roll against my own chest, completely overwhelming mine. "Oh, come on, honey. Just focus on me."

As her lips slowly approached mine, I softened my own quivering lips and allowed her to deeply and lovingly kiss me on the lips, a string of saliva immediately separating as she backed up.

"Do you want to do it?" She slowly caressed my cheek. "Don't worry, I'll be gentle and soft. No kinds of play today… just some casual…." Her lips approached my right ear. "... fucking…"

As I lay on the bed, sprawled out and exhausted from the event that had just taken place, Mia grabbed a pipe from the bedside table next to me. She brought it to her lips, ready to inhale the ever-so-sweet smoke that would help her relax even further, but just before she could light it, I spoke up.

"Don't smoke in here… no smoking in here, okay?" I grabbed the pipe from her hand and placing it on another bed side table parallel to the one she had grabbed the pipe off of. I didn't even notice she brought one, but I guess I was insanely tired last night.

"Honey, come on… alright, but I can do it on the balcony, right?" The woman smirked, cupping my chin ever so slightly before giving me a sensual kiss on the lips. They were even softer and redder than before.

I didn't even get a chance to reply as she brought the blankets over my fully naked body and wrapped herself loosely in a silk robe hung up on the wall. And just as she pressed past the double glass doors leading to my balcony, I shouted, "Don't dirty that! That thing is expensive!"

"Then I'll just buy you a new one…" Mia's voice trailed off before an explosion of fire poured into my room. "Sorry about that! Bit of a slip-up!"

Rolling my eyes, I could hardly believe this woman… but at least she did help me fall asleep last night. Also, I didn't even need my morning coffee now as I was wide awake from the good and really awakening experience.

"Okay…" I muttered, rubbing my neck with various hickeys and bite marks along it. "... I guess I'll just have breakfast," I moved the blankets off of me and washed myself up in the shower. But it didn't take too long, as I wanted to catch my daughter just as she woke up. Having dinner with the entire family would be nice as we haven't all been together for quite a while now.

After getting out of the shower, I brushed my teeth vigorously and swished my gums with mouthwash, making sure to clean every bit of my mouth. And once that was done, I moisturized and wrapped myself in a spare satin robe that wasn't as nice as the silk one, but it served its purpose… though it might have been a bit loose and revealing as well.

"Mistress, would you like breakfast now or once the Young Miss finishes getting ready?" A maid asked just as soon as I exited my room with a bright smile on my face. My personal assistant also handed me a tablet with everything I needed to do today just as I began to walk to the dining room, which already had the smell of fresh food pouring out of it.

"Oh, that's right… the meeting is today… ugh…" I rubbed my sore neck whilst groaning with exhaustion. I felt relaxed and awake, yet still mentally tired from juggling so many things. It was a toxic endless cycle that I had placed on myself, but at least it got things done and made me happy.

"Mistress, would you like some soothing cream to help with the bruising and marks?" The maid, who continued to follow me, asked, awaiting my answer for her previous question. "For the breakfast question… ugh… well, yes, we'll wait for her to finish, but tell her to finish up fast, and yes, I'll gladly take some soothing cream… damn that succubus."

As I complained my way to the dining table, my assistant followed after me, responding to a few lingering thoughts that I had about the schedule today.

"First of all, you said the meeting here would take about three hours, but if I had to be honest, it will be shorter than that. At most an hour… plus, clear my schedule for the rest of the day after it. We'll most likely go partying, so there will be no room for any more meetings."

"But Mistress, one of the meetings you have today is with the emperor. You must keep a good relationship with him to maintain the pact that you both have privately signed. I must remind you that keeping it upheld will do you-"

"I don't care… in fact, it's about time Ada has a political meeting. But don't worry, she's a natural," I smiled at my uneasy assistant. Clearly, she was unaware of what my young lady could do. I mean, she was an empress in her past life, and when I was negotiating things with her, she was quite the imposing force, so I really have no complaints about sending her as my stay-in. She should do fine.

"A-Are you sure, Mistress? Are you sure you won't regret this?"

"Yes, I'm sure it should be fine as I'll be sending you with her. Okay? No qualms with overseeing the conversation and being her advisor, I hope… okay?" I faked a smile through a bit of annoyance at my assistant.

I knew she wanted the best for me and my child, but she was pretty stubborn when it came to other things. So, placing my foot down early was the best way to get her to shut up and allow me to enjoy my morning peacefully without her consistent nagging.

Sure, I could have been more strict with her, but I believed this relationship was nice. We were harsh on each other, but also kind to each other. We were more like friends than anything… except for the servitude part, for the rare times I did forcefully order her to do things. It was very though… very, very rare.

As I entered the grand dining room, rays of sunshine poured through the tall and skinny glass pane windows. They weren't tinted or anything but still brought a vibrating glow of color to the massive room, which was nearly impossible to light up with chandeliers and fancy, very antique equipment that could be placed across the room.

Quickly, I sat down at the end of the table, nearly drooling over the delicious food prepared for myself, my daughter, and my wife, who were all prepared to eat.

I was going for a grand, old, Japanese-style look with this castle of mine, and so far, it was going very well. It wasn't too big to the point where I, my servants, my daughter, my wife, or even guests could lose their way, but wasn't too small to where I didn't feel like I could breathe. This was very important as I was constantly cramped with stress, and just walking through these large spacious halls was enough for a quick breather.

After what seemed to be an eternity of waiting for my family, I gestured over a maid, and she quickly leaned down to hear me. "It's been fifteen minutes… where is Ada?" I demanded, my voice clear and stern as it echoed throughout the dining room, making sure every present servant heard me.

"The Young miss is still currently getting ready… u-ummmm… should we check on her? Should we drag her out? Your call, Mistress."

"No… I will get her myself," I gritted my teeth and stormed out of the dining room. And after walking down my perfectly built Japanese castle-style halls, which were widened for convenience, I knocked on my daughter's pale white door.

Out of every place in this castle of mine, the only thing ruining its completed look was my daughter's very modern, sleek, and patternless room. She loved it, so I didn't tamper with it, but it did urk me every time I caught just a glimpse of it.

"Ada! Your other mom is here! You don't want to keep her waiting!"
