While Alan was counting down, Sharon could be seen having a stunned look on her face, unable to believe what she had just heard Alan said.

"Sob… Don't… Sob… Please…"

Meanwhile, Charlotte was sobbing even more uncontrollably than she already was.

"7… 8… 9…"

"Are you being serious?!" Sharon shouted out while looking straight into Alan's eyes.

However, faced with Sharons' question, all Alan did was continued counting down while with a smile on his face, "12, 13…"

"Fuck, this is all your fault, you dumb…" Upon seeing that Alan was ignoring her and continuing on with his countdown, Sharon moved her face to the side of Charlotte's side, then said angrily while glaring at Charlotte.

However, before Sharon even finished her sentence, Sharon suddenly felt something splashing onto her legs, and as she lowered her head and looked downward…

She saw that the thing that was being splashed onto her legs was actually Charlotte's piss.

Evidently, Charlotte actually pissed herself due to her fear of being killed by Sharon.

"What the fuck?! Ah!!! Disgusting!" Immediately, Sharon shouted out with disgust as she pushed onto Charlotte's back with her left hand, then quickly moved away from where the puddle of piss was at.

Upon being pushed by Sharon, Charlotte fell face flat onto the floor.

Luckily for Charlotte, she managed to cushion her face with her hands right before she landed on the floor.

"I'm… I'm not dead…? I'm not dead!" Charlotte thought to herself shortly after falling onto the floor, and upon realizing that Sharon didn't kill her, Charlotte quickly crawled over to Alan, then hugged onto Alan's right leg and began pleading while still sobbing, "Alan, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, please forgive me. Please don't toss me away, I swear I will be obedient from now on… Sob…"

After taking a quick glance over at Charlotte, Alan ignored Charlotte as he looked over to Sharon and said with a confused look on his face, "Didn't you say that even if you were to kill someone like Charlotte who belongs to a low-ranking family, you would at most receive a slap on the wrist as punishment? So, why didn't you kill Charlotte? Would you rather I ruin your father's chances of becoming Sin Family's next family head instead of killing off Charlotte? Tsk, tsk, what an unfilial daughter."

In actuality, when Alan first heard Sharon said that she wouldn't receive much of a punishment even if she were to kill Charlotte due to the fact that she belongs to a middle-ranking family, Alan already planned to test out if Sharon was speaking the truth.

After all, the next girl who Alan intends to threaten and make use of belongs to a middle-ranking family.

If Sharon really dares to kill off Charlotte, it meant that Alan was going to have to start making changes to his initial plans.

However, from the looks of things, it was evident that Sharon was lying.

Otherwise, if Sharon was telling the truth, with how Sharon has been acting, and the fact that she even revealed that she had killed quite a number of people who had offended her back when she was in high school, there was no way that Sharon wouldn't have killed Charlotte when he had already made his threat clear to her.

"You bastard! Still trying to belittle me?! Right from the start, you already knew that I wouldn't dare to kill Charlotte, right?!"

Faced with Sharon's question, Alan shrugged his shoulders and remained silent.

Meanwhile, when Charlotte heard Sharon said that Alan knew from the start that Sharon wouldn't dare to kill her, Charlotte immediately stopped her sobbing and looked upward to Alan, then said with a surprised tone in her voice, "Ah! Alan! So, you were just trying to scare me! You weren't really intending on letting me die! You are such a baddie!"

Upon hearing Charlotte opening her mouth to speak again, Alan couldn't help but frown as he looked downward at Charlotte who was kneeling by his right leg.

Meanwhile, seemingly to not have seen Alan's frown, or perhaps, Charlotte chose to ignore the fact that Alan was frowning, she stood up and turned around, then pointed at Sharon and said angrily, "Alan! You have got to take revenge for me! I know that you weren't intending to ruin Sharon, and everything up till now was all my doing…"

"But… Look!" Upon speaking up to here, Charlotte extended her right arm over to Alan and showed him the long cut that was on her right arm and said pitifully while with her lips pouted, "Look at what she did to me! What if this wound ends up leaving a scar on my arm!"

Meanwhile, Sharon could be seen to have kept away her knife and was remaining silent while looking coldly at Charlotte.

"Alan…?" Upon realizing that Alan wasn't responding to her, Charlotte turned her head around and muttered confusedly.

And when she saw that Alan was looking at her while still with a frown on his face, her expression froze for a moment.

In the next moment, with a forced smile on her mouth, Charlotte squatted down and hugged onto Alan's right arm, then coquettishly called out Alan's name, "Alan~"

"Sigh…" With a helpless look on his face, Alan let out a sigh, then stood up from the chair.

"Alan…? You…" Upon seeing that Alan let out a sigh and stopped frowning, Charlotte called out Alan's name once again, but this time, with a happy tone instead.

As of now, Charlotte thought that Alan had given in to her and was going to take revenge for her.

"As expected! No matter what, I am indeed Alan's first woman. So, no matter what I do, so long as I don't overstep my boundary by too much… In the end, Alan will still choose to forgive me!" Charlotte thought to herself complacently as she watched Alan stand up from his chair, then helped her up from squatting on the floor.

However, the moment Charlotte stood up in front of Alan, Charlotte suddenly felt her face being punched onto by a fist, and in the next moment, Charlotte fell onto the floor once again as she held onto her nose with her right hand and began crying out in pain while looking in disbelief at Alan.

"Ah!!! Why…"
