Underground, inside a Weavetech facility.
"How many woke up today?" A man asked a clipboard in hand as he walked down a long hallway with several attendants by his side.
With Weavetech being available to the masses, humans had gotten the opportunity to explore worlds far beyond the reach of common man. The strerry skies, the horrid dark, and planets with bountiful resources.
The universe was more connected now than ever. But this connection didn't come without a cost.
"No Awakened sir, only two dead" a young man in a Weavetech issued lab coat reported a look of dismay on his face.
The fast spread of stardust had gone unnoticed by man for generations, they were ignorant of the dangers of what laid before them. But now? It was all to glaring.
"Frustrating!!" The man with the clipboard cursed. He had a quota to meet, the number of dead infected by star dust and those successful was not matching up at all.
'Bringing so many weavepod to the slums, what genius idea!!'
The man continued cursing in his mind. These kids deserved to live yes, but without the proper training, how could one expect them to survive their first voyage? Not only that but with the same standards of the big cities? Those were extremely high and unreasonable expectations.
As the man contemplated his bad luck…a sudden scream resounded in the room right in the corner of his eye.
"Hm?!" He immediately reacted pushing forward with large strides as he pushed open the door from which the panic came from.
"Help me supervisor, he's crazy!!" A nurse in scrubs screamed as behind her a young man stood with a syringe to her neck holding her from behind.
He looked deranged, confused but most of all. Deadly.
The supervisor couldn't help but feel vunrable at this time, neither were they the ones held at knife point nor were they alone, yet….it felt like they were at the mercy of this young man.
"Sir, That's the graveyard shadow!!" The attendant behind the supervisor said almost losing his balance.
The young man infront of them had entered this place a few months ago for his first voyage, just like many others. However a few days after doing so a giant black coffin had appeared next to him and refused to be moved.
The nurses were afraid and the scientists were intrigued but one that seemed all too certain the young man was bound for the grave so they named him the graveyard shadow as he was bound to end up there eventually.
"Graveyard shadow? Isn't that the special grade?" The supervisor raised his eyebrow feeling a bolt of shock.
The young man infront of him had been….before he could finished his train of thought.
"Unplug it now!!" The young man barked hoarsely a glare of defiance written all over his face.
Slowly panning his head to the side of the room, the supervisors eyes landed in the corner were a bunch of wires had been plugged into a black coffin.
"Ohhh, of course" the supervisor nodded hurriedly and rushed over to the coffin to unplug the wires. He could understand the young man's panic, this thing had probably come from his voyage.
It was the only thing he recognized here, so he instinctively wanted to protect it.
While he did that, he had long since sent a message out to the staff above.
The one that was meant to die, the graveyard shadow, was awake.

"Galafray huh? That's quite an interesting journey"
Around 2 hours later Enzo had calmed down and was now being visited by a staff of the Weavetech branch.
Stardust was a strange thing and was in all truthful still being studied. Weavetech required at least a rough overview of what happened in every voyage on their facility.
It was their way of learning more about the infection and its capabilities.
"Thank you for that, you can receive your complimentary Time card after leaving the facility" the man infront of him continued.
He had never heard of galafray before, it was such a strange world in his mind, but the information seemed to be accurate, of course Enzo wasn't obligated to tell him more than he. Felt like so he could only go sway with this.
"Someone wants to see you by the way, he will be in after I leave. But don't feel the need to agreed to his proposal, we at Weavetech only need a few hours to come up with our own proposal" The man explained.
Star Weavers were exceptional assets to have, Weavetech would love to monopolize them. Unfortunately there were rules in place to stop that, everyone was allowed to try and poach them, and this kid was hot on the market.
"Thank you" Enzo nodded, however his mind was more focused on who would come next.
When he first woke up he had tried to leave to see his father and mother. He had been in that voyage for 3 months, whether they were dead or alive was not known and it made him panic.
But luckily one of the nurses had explained to him that one of the people that had taken interest in his case had found them and given them some lifespan free of charge.
That person was right behind that door.
So Enzo watched the man from Weavetech leave the room. He stared at the door intently until.

The door opened once again and a man in all white stepped into the room confidently. He had grey tightly knitted locs on his head a look of calm on his face as he stared Enzo down.
"Malvaran?" The man asked looking at Enzo with a sharp Peircing gazes. He had seen the young man asleep for so many months, this was the first time seeing him awake, he looked tired.
"Yes" Enzo nodded with a look of gratitude on his face, while everyone here thought of the black coffin and what type of voyage he was going through only one person thought of Enzo's immediate family.
And that was this person here, he felt immense gratitude towards him.
"I am called Mr White" The man took large strides forward stretching his hand out for a firm hand shake.
"I am a representative of the Dual-moon institute"
