After using her Evil Eyes on the two player traitors, Hazel was able to get some information regarding the situation they were currently in. Aside from the obvious, which was them luring players and killing them, she learned that they were tasked to do this by an opposing guild. It was called The Black Exiled Guild. A bit edgy and cringy, but Hazel wasn't going to judge.
She wanted to know more about the guild, but sadly couldn't because neither player knew much. In fact, they didn't even know who the leader of this guild was in the first place, and they joined sometime after they returned from their dungeon tutorial.
Because of that, neither of these players had any useful information. Which only angered Hazel since she got nothing from them.
Still, she at least knew that the Dark Elf from before was involved. Not only that, but she was one of the dark elves that betrayed Astrid before the System appeared and dragged everyone into the hellish tutorial dungeons. Olga was definitely connected to these players. And if she was involved, then Dolk might have been in the middle of this as well.
Which also meant that Dolk was still in Portland as well. Neither Hazel nor Astrid knew why, but they were aware that his little allegiance with Kollr was null and void, which explained why he didn't make any attempt to return to their tribe. Still, Hazel was curious about Dolk's motives for doing this.
If her assumption was right, Dolk was likely a Leader of a guild, maybe even the Black Exiled Guild that Simon and Matthew told her about. But why would he try to lure out players and kill them? What was he trying to accomplish?
Whatever his goal was, she wasn't going to get them from the traitor players. Hazel looked down at Simon and Matthew, watching as they continued to tremble with fear while under the gaze of her evil eyes. It was obvious that they were of no use to her any longer. Seeing as how that was the case, she turned her back to the players, allowing them to be free from her Evil Eyes.
She could hear them gasping for breath, clearly suffering from shock after being released by her powerful gaze. Ignoring them, Hazel then walked over to where Kane and the rest of her allies were. As she approached them, she noticed that they were talking to the other players who had been betrayed by Simon and Matthew.
When they noticed Hazel approaching, they turned and faced her.
"Got anything from them?" Kane asked, sparing a glance at the two players still trembling in fear behind her.
Hazel shook her head. "Nothing except that they're from the Black Exiled Guild. Though they're apparently unofficial members since they were needed to infiltrate other guilds and kill the members from the inside."
"That explains why those bastards were able to join our Guild," Nick noted, crossing his arms while making a sour expression. "They were nothing more than spies."

"Any idea as to why they were doing this?" Kane spoke up with another question. "If they're doing this with other guilds, then that would mean our guild was just as liable to get caught up in all of this."
Hazel hadn't thought about that. If other guilds were getting caught up in the Black Exiles' schemes, then it was very likely that the Valiant Guild was also caught in the center of it. And that would be very bad. For a multitude of reasons.
"My guess is that the Guild Leader of Black Exiles wishes to get rid of the competition, which in this case, is the other guilds."
"That makes sense," John said while rubbing his chin. "In order to be the best, you need to take down anyone who poses a threat to your power. But why exactly were they doing this?"
"My guess is it's for territory," Nick answered, causing Hazel and the other two to stare at him.
"What do you mean?" Chegyaeyi questioned.
"Guilds are not only able to obtain territory when first established, but they are also able to expand it. At least, that's what my guild master told me."
Right, that was also a thing. Guilds were able to expand their territory, thus expanding their power and influence. Then the guild leader of Black Exiles might have been trying to gain more territory all around Portland. And the best way to do that was to get rid of the guilds. And while having a simple guild war for territory was the most common answer...what this bastard was doing was not only devious but incredibly clever. To the point where Hazel couldn't help but give the guy some credit in terms of their efficacy and intelligence.
Though, Hazel also still believed that the Guild Leader was a scum bag, considering the kind of methods they were using to get the job done.
Aside from that, she was more concerned about what Kane said before. If there was a possibility that there was a spy in the Valiant Guild, then they needed to snuff them out and get rid of them accordingly. At least before they could start luring players out and getting them killed through some kind of bullshit reason.
Speaking of which...
"Hey," Hazel turned to Nick. "I heard before that you guys were being lured here to find and conquer a dungeon?"
Nick nodded. "Yeah. Now that we're in the second phase of the integration, we're now able to have access to both Quests and Dungeons. And there are a lot of dungeons popping up in Portland."
Dungeons. Hazel was familiar with the word. It was the same thing that she got stuck in when the System first appeared. The Tutorial Dungeons. And now other dungeons were lurking all over Portland? Just the idea made her shudder.
However, after remembering the kind of rewards she received from completing a Dungeon, the thought of entering and finishing one surpassed her trauma and hesitation. That and the levels she could possibly gain from it.
"And you were lured here because you thought this hospital was a dungeon?" Hazel questioned.
"Yeah," Nick answered. "We've been looking for dungeons since they possess a lot of items, like in the Tutorial Dungeons we were stuck in. Which was why we came here." He glared over at Simon and Matthew. "And we came here at the behest of those two."
Hazel looked over in their direction, watching the two squirm while under the magical restraints. She knew that they were part of it, but was also aware that the one truly responsible for all of this was the boss themselves. Hopefully, the dark elf she captured should tell them what they needed to know.
As for the dungeons, Hazel was intrigued by what Nick told her and the others about them. So, before they head back to their base, it would be best for her to gather as much information regarding the dungeons. Because if they were anything like the Tutorial Dungeons, then she wanted to take advantage of what was presented to them.
