Unexpectedly, Wu Xu saw Secretary Fang.

In a corner of the hospital garden, Wu Xu saw Secretary Fang talking to a man in white. They seemed like a couple, with Secretary Fang cozily leaning on the man in white.

Wu Xu's expression shifted instantly, and he activated his superpower to look closer.

From a distance, he could see the Life Qi above the heads of Secretary Fang and the man in white.

Upon leaving the ward, Hu Lingzhu approached Wu Xu while Xie Binglan, helpless, could only follow.

"Are you done?" Wu Xu had a smile on his face, appearing as a forthright and honest person.

However, no matter how she looked at him, Xie Binglan found Wu Xu displeasing, mainly because of the previous blind date, which had been a great blow to her.

To think she, a great beauty, had actively made advances only to be ignored by Wu Xu. Instead, he found comfort in an elderly couple!

This relegated Wu Xu, in Xie Binglan's mind, to someone insensitive, foolish, and deliberately provocative, with a low character.

"Um, Uncle He is in good spirits; I am at ease," Hu Lingzhu responded with a smile, then looked Wu Xu up and down with curiosity, asking, "Mr. Wu, are you a policeman or a bodyguard?"

"This…" Wu Xu didn't know how to answer for a moment; speaking of professions, he seemed to be just a temporary physical education assistant at a school, totally unrelated to his current work.
