Infinite Providence: The First Legendary Death Supreme!

Chapter 113: On the Ship!

A few hours have gone by since the sect master disappeared from their view, and they've been led to their rooms.

Each one had an individual room that was more than 10 times as luxurious as the VIP room Ken had rented back when he was in the mission's ship.

And they were also made to know that the journey there would take 20 days.

So for 20 days, they would live the life of royalty that the mortal world probably never lived.

Maids of utmost beauty, butlers who'd handle everything you need with a button, and much more.

Food and fruits they've never ever laid eyes on before, and entertainment that could suck your brain away.

All of this was there for them to enjoy as much as they wanted and more.

This was just what they've seen along the way and what the butlers have told them.

On the other hand, each batch was separated, and they were pretty sure the inner and core sects had more benefits than they did, due to their previous achievements, and that was true, but they wouldn't know.

It was just thoughts, and the day went by until they found themself in restaurants featuring dishes they'd never heard of before.

Ken was surrounded by the top 10, and the remaining disciples who were also chosen for the secret realm were on a table not so far that they couldn't hear what was going on.

They've been here for 30 minutes already, speaking about all kinds of topics while Ken just listened on and gathered information while simultaneously continuing his revision of his plans.

Stuff like the gathering, the 3rd trial, and the upper floors of the ascension tower, and they even constantly looked at Ken as if expecting him to say something, but upon seeing that he was deep in thought, they didn't disturb him.

Something Ke appreciated very much from this bunch.

Then at some point in time, he joined in.

and the conversation went round and round until it inevitably reached the secret realm.

"Do any of you have any information about secret realms?" Saad asked.

"Diana and I have been searching far and wide, but each secret realm is another world entirely, and it follows different rules from ours and the others; it's impossible to guess what'd be there." Sara informed them, and this made them tense up.

"I believe everybody here understands what a secret realm is and what it holds in store?" Ken asked this very important question.

A few seconds went by, and everybody nodded.

"Do you know anything about what might be there, Ken?" Alisten asked.

"As Sara said, the best we can do is make guesses." Ken replied.

"Right..." Alister looked down in disappointment. They've all done their research, but if Ken didn't find anything, then it meant they had no chance.

Still, Darek, who knew Ken best, knew that things weren't so simple.

This man sometimes knew things as if they were provided to him from the sky, as if he received revelations.

It wasn't simple, but he wasn't going to say a word if Ken didn't.

Ken was a good man through and through from what he had seen so far, and even if he hated basing anybody's true self on first expression and even experience, Ken wasn't the type to betray anyone or do things that hurt those around him.

But for the life of him, whenever he brought back memories about Ken and what he had seen him doing, trying to bring back the expressions that were on his face, all he could remember was that he was serious, smiling, or something else, but he couldn't for the life of him imagine it; it was as if... as if...

"But we can make guesses." Ken then dropped this bomb... Everybody turned his attention towards him.

And Darek, who was thinking almost half-expectedly, waited for Ken to drop a stack of papers that held his plans, but when he didn't, his former idea of him not wanting to share anything with them became more solidified.

Ken looked at Darek and smiled.

Darek was fast on his thoughts and very smart, very useful as a right hand.

But he had to deal with this matter first.

At the same time, Darek, who was looking at Ken and waiting for an answer, thought back and tried to remember what exactly he was thinking about but couldn't remember.

"You two should have noticed some common rules between the secret realms you've read about?" He asked Sara and Diana.

"Umm, yeah, however, they tend to change a lot of times when we say, 'Oh, this is everywhere,' so we just decided not to trust our hunches and be prepared for anything." She said.

"But that's more dangerous, and there are some things that are really everywhere and haven't changed even in the record of the 200 secret realms the sect has visited in their history." Ken dropped this bomb like it was nothing, but Sara and Diana, who had a headache after reading around 20 books of the secret realm after spending more than 3 months, almost couldn't believe what they heard.

"You've read them all?" Diana, the silent one of the bunch, asked.

"I'm a librarian." Ken replied as if it was the most natural thing in the world, but he then realized that he had replied almost instinctively due to how many times he had heard the same question.

"The secret realm is the most important point in our cultivation journey, possibly, and it would remain to be like so either until we have inner sect elder-like achievements or we manage to enter another one and achieve more than we do now while coming out alive." Ken gave a full answer this time.

"Thus... it was necessary." He concluded.

The group remained silent for a second, then two, and another before Sara spoke.

"So what can we know about the next secret realm?" She asked.

"Well, let me tell you about what I expect, and then later, we can speak about what might be there."
