Bang!

Bai Hei's whole body smashed into pieces, and spilled into different direction.

One of the ancient figures frowned immediately, "you shouldnt have killed him jsut like that, it would have been better to capture him."

At his words the leader merely sneered and didn't respond, he just stared at the place where Bai Hei had died with a glow in his eyes. According to report Bai Hei was supposedly immortal, he wanted to see it for himself.

Bai Hei didn't let him wait for long, in the blink of an eye his body rapidly regenerated and became whole, a message from the system also appeared.

[Upon encountering those who plotted against you, you were extremely angry and wanted to take your revenge, however you were too weak and was immediately killed without having a chance to react. The gap in strength was too huge. You are rewarded with a significant increase in your cultivation.]

Immediately the message vanished Bai Hei realised that his cultivation had increased to the peak of golden core realm. He was stunned, the system was too overpowered! He stared at the seven ancient figures as thouugh they were treasure gifting immortals.

His voice billowed through the nine heavens as he shouted, "is that all youve got? I could even survive that while closing my eyes! With such weak strengh how have you survived for so long?"

As Bai Hei continued cursing without a care the seven ancient figures quickly released killing intent. However at this moment the leader in front noticed something and stared at Bai Hei with an incredulous expression.

"Bai Hei? How are you still alive? We confirmed your death before we left!"

At this Bai Hei was stunned them immediately became furious, "youre only recognising me now? Old dog, open your dog eyes and see the imensity of heaven and earth!!!"

This time all seven werent able to control their anger anymore, one of the ancient figures spoke with disdain. "Brat, let's see how long you can keep resurrecting!" as soon as they finished speakin they immediatly attacked.

Towards his words Bai Hei mere sneered… see how long i can keep ressurecting? Old man, im not sure you will last that long… not caring for his life Bai Hei received all their attacks with joy. His cultivation was only at the peak of golden core realm either way, that was a three rank gap compared to them.

They were already at rank six, similar to the cultivation path xenith. Before Bai Hei could react his body had already been destroyed, however he didn't panic, soon his body resurrected and a message appeared in the panel.

[Despite knowing that your opponents were far stronger than you, you decided to use them to increase your strength. You are rewarded with an increase in cultivation realm, please prepare for you nascent soul heavenly tribulation.]

Upon seeing the message Bai Hei was stunned. When one transcends to the nascent soul they had to survive a nascent soul tribulation which could potentially kill them, depending on their strength the lightning tribulation would undoubtedly be more terrigying.

Just as he was lost in thouught for a moment he recalled something, the nine tribulations cultivation technique where he could increase his strength by devouring tribulation lightning. With a smirk he quickly revolved it.

Receiving a cultivation technique or insight from the system would directly imprint itself into his mind so he didn't have to cultivate to comprehend the initial stage of the technique. The helixars in front suddenly paused their attacks as they stared up at the sky.

The transparent sky was slowly darkening, it was as though the sky was about to crack apart. With a frown the dtepped back and stared at Bai Hei in apprehension. They didn't now what he had don't but they knew it could not be good.

However the leader in front thought of something and stared at Bai Hei fiercely, "he is transcending the humans lightning tribulation, quickly kill him before he becomes any stronger."

Just as all seven of them attacked once again, the sky cracked open and a terrifying bolt of lightning emerged from beneath the clouds heading straight for Bai Hei. He stared at everything with a sigh, at this moment time seemed so slow to a crawl, Bai Hei begun pondering on his life. It was truly not easy to be him… with a melancholic sigh he sat down in a lotus position ignoring everything to cultivate.

He revolved the nine tribulations technique. His dantian quickly became similar to a vortex which was revolving, the vortex looked extremely chaotic, just by lookign at it he felt it could disintegrate everything. Bai Hei studied it closely, however he wasn't giving a chance to ponder and his body was quickly destroyed by the surrounding attacks.

Just as Bai Hei's body was destroyed by the heavenly lightning something surprising happened. The dantian in his body didn't destroy rather it began spinning wildly and started absorbing the heavenly tribulation. Meanwhile, Bai Hei's body regenerated in an instant, he stared at his dantian which was now outside his body.

The dantian already had faint cracks due to absorbing too much tribulation lightning. Bai Hei's facial turned unnatural, if his dantian was destroyed by the tribulation lightning he wouldnt lose his cultivation would he?

He also took a moment to stare at the message that had appeared in the system…

[You were carefree while transcending the lightning tribulation to the nascent soul realm, not caring for your life which ultimately resulted in your death, you are rewarded with a mystical lighning technique.]

Immediately a strange technique appeared in his mind. He quickly digested the knowledge of the technique. Upon learning about the technique he realised that this was an attacking technique that could send out bolts of lighning at a distance, these bolts of lightning was extremely fast.

And while facing the someone of the same level of strength they wouldnt even realise how they were killed.

Meanwhile the dantian had fully absorbed the lightning tribulation. The cracks on it's surface had also healed. As soon as the process was completed it flew at rapid speed and sund into his stomach. Bai Hei faintly smiled, it seemed he had been worried for nothing. He also noticed that the dantian in his body seemed to have changed greatly but he couldn't tell what changes had occured.

Not given the chance to ponder on it, Bai Hei stared at the four who stared at him in shock. They had seen everything, and they now realised what kind of monster Bai Hei was, how could someone who could absorb lightning tribulations to cultivate be ordinary?

The leader in front stared at Bai Hei with wide eyes, "could he had inherited a unique bloodline from that woman?" as one of the upper echelons of this secret realm's branch of the helixar alliance he faintly recalled some tales he had heard.

"We have to capture him before he gets any stronger!""We have to capture him before be becomes any stronger! Don't try to kill him no matter how he provokes us, just injure him and trap him down. Later on you can pour out your anger after we've captured him, but supress it for now." the leader immediately gave the order in one breath.

The others nodded at his words. Immediately after they changed their mode of attacking, previously they only aimed to kill mark however now they wanted to decapacitate his limbs. Mark on teh other hand realised what they were trying to do, he was immediatly helpless.

They were far stronger than him now so there was nothing he could do. Releasing the mystical lightning technique he had mastered mark tried to defend himself. Unfortunately after barely hanging on for a few minutes he was finally decapacitated.

Seeing mark's helpless expression they felt pleased inwardly.

"Young man you didn't expect to get captured right?" the leader was undoubtedly the most happy. "Even with immortality, did you really thing you can escape being captured? You were too impulsive brat!"

"It's your mother that was impulsive while giving birth to you." mark sneered in disdain. Even though most of his limbs were cut off leaving him with only one arm he still had a way out so he wasn't worried.

"Brat, you are still arrogant even after being captured? Just wait and see what will happen to you when we reach the headquarters" the leader immediately became furious, in such situation he expected mark to beg for his life but rather he just looked at them as though they were a group of ants.

When had someone of such lower strength ever looked down on him. He even felt the urge to kill mark right there but held it in, doing so would only fully heal him. At the same time he was curious what kind of genetic mutation could enable one to become immortal…

"Tie him up, let's take him to the headquarters." he gave the order then prepared to go back since the mission was completed.
