The foundational projects of a Level 5 Civilization are numerous. For current humans, the first major project is the conversion of the population, where the production capacity of the Unreal Laboratory is severely lacking, having become a bottleneck.

Now, with a population of one billion in the New Human Civilization, converting tens of thousands of people each year is still too slow. It would take tens of thousands of years to complete this project.

In terms of the whole Universe, tens of thousands of years are not considered lengthy, but for the young New Human Civilization, it is still too long.

We must find a way to increase the speed by two orders of magnitude.

"As for contact with low-level civilizations, it's indeed unlikely to directly acquire more advanced technology, but other disciplines exist, including cosmic sociology, biology, etc., which can still develop."

"I think joining this faction first is a comparatively good choice, especially at the beginning when we are relatively weak."

Everyone pondered for a while and suddenly realized that this idea is indeed quite good. Joining the Amoeba Faction would not violate the initially set core goal of 'seeking novelty' and could provide certain benefits, constituting a win-win choice.

A Level 5 Civilization implies active progress, never retreating, but sometimes it may go astray.

Especially in the continuous self-modification and thought alteration process, from a logical perspective, it can enter a cognitive blind spot. Academically, this phenomenon is called a 'Black Hole of Thought.'

Civilizations falling into a Black Hole of Thought often exhibit extreme arrogance, narcissism, and other negative conditions. Specifically, without other civilizations to remind and assist, solely relying on oneself makes it difficult to discover the flaws.

A simple example is a person undergoing plastic surgery repeatedly, intending to make themselves more beautiful each time, based on others' aesthetic standards as reference.

Self-modification is similar; it is a long and difficult process that not only requires enough wisdom but also abundant references.

The original Genetic Philosophy closely approached a perfect theory. Most species in Nature relied on this system to live and breed over billions of years. But now, people have abandoned this system and must independently concoct a more perfect system. If major flaws arise, it results in catastrophic outcomes.

A Deputy Captain also agreed, "This plan is quite good. Even if we can find some civilizations, even if they are the Sinking Civilization, even if we can't learn great qualities from these civilizations, comparing them consistently is also a good reference."

This is precisely why the New Human Civilization continues to unite with the Half-sphere Civilization and independently develop, without interfering with each other. Both parties consider each other righteous civilizations, where communication allows for criticism and reduction of possible deviations.
