There's Absolutely No Problem With The Magic Cards I Made!

Ch. 85

Chapter 85. The Youthful Vigor of Dekan and Cornelia

“By the way, are vampires edible?”

Dekan suddenly thought of something and asked.

“Ugh, you can’t eat that kind of game meat, meow! It’s so disgusting.”

“Then forget it. No need to preserve the corpse’s condition. Just slaughter it however you want.”

“Okay.”

Listening to their conversation, Viscount Augustine’s eyes were wide with fury, yet he was powerless.

He was a noble of the blood race!

Humans were his meal!

Since when had he been treated by humans as… disgusting game meat?

Had these humans gone mad, or had the entire world gone mad during the years he was sealed?

“You! If you have the guts, fight me fairly!”

Viscount Augustine struggled to crawl on the ground, seemingly trying to get closer to Dekan to kill him in one fell swoop.

“Hehehe, alright. Then let’s have a fair, one-sided slaughter!”

Dekan smiled, and beside him, Cornelia impassively took out her hammer.

This warhammer, originally entirely silver, was now tinged with a faint golden light.

【Warhammer of Terror and Holy Light】

【Category: Equipment Card】

【Grade: Blue Precious】

【Rank: 3】

【Effect: When hit by this weapon, inflicts 1.5 times the pain. Against enemies of the evil faction, the pain effect is doubled.】

【Note: Immeasurable merit!】

This was something Dekan had made for Cornelia in the Shadow World in the afternoon.

He had dismantled a 【Warhammer of Terror】 card that Cornelia carried and a 【Purification】 card that the Cat Teacher carried, using the materials to create this piece of equipment.

The Cat Teacher’s greatest use was actually as an inventory slot.

Since it was 5th rank, it could carry cards totaling 50 ranks.

A complete set of portable card-making tools consisted of ten individual items.

Each individual item corresponded to a 1st-rank equipment card.

Therefore, a battlefield card maker needed to have at least 10 ranks of card slots occupied to carry a set of card-making tools into a Shadow World.

Besides being a sinister support, Dekan also had the role of a battlefield card maker.

It was just that at lower ranks, the cost was limited. Compared to sacrificing 10 ranks of card slots for the function of a battlefield card maker, he preferred to ensure the team’s combat power.

But with the Cat Teacher as a portable freeloader, things were different.

Dekan directly stuffed a set of tools onto it.

He also had it carry various types of cheap white spell cards, which could provide ample materials after being dismantled.

Of course, the Cat Teacher’s purpose wasn’t just to bring tools and materials for Dekan.

The most crucial thing was—

It could transport the cards confiscated from the enemy out!

It had plenty of card slots and could bind up to 5th-rank cards!

Dekan had already discovered this last time at the Demon Academy.

He and Cornelia had suffered from a lack of ranks and card slots.

Most of the spoils obtained from the Faceless Man were wasted, resulting in a huge loss of money!

This had caused Dekan great distress.

So this time, he brought along the Cat Teacher as a transporter.

It unbound and discarded all the white cards except for the card-making tool set, and bound the high-rarity cards plundered from the twin sisters.

The illicit gains alone could earn them thousands of gold coins!

“This… This is!”

The radiance from the Warhammer of Terror and Holy Light made Viscount Augustine feel particularly terrified.

Although he knew the rank of this weapon was not high, and the golden glow on it was not that holy.

But it carried a sense of danger that sent a chill down Viscount Augustine’s spine.

“Cornelia, smash away. If it breaks, I’ll fix it for you right away. We’re rich now.”

Dekan directly set up his tool set in the living room.

It looked just like a blacksmith’s stall set up right there.

“Okay.”

Cornelia gripped the hammer’s handle, eager to try.

Dekan’s words put her completely at ease.

She could finally swing her weapon with all her might without holding back.

“You, you stay away!”

Viscount Augustine finally recognized the situation.

The two in front of him, though clad in human skin, were creatures more terrifying than demons!

Under their shadow, this vampire appeared particularly weak, pitiful, and helpless.

The sounds of renovation once again echoed through the villa.

Sweat and youthful smiles intertwined, accompanied by the vampire’s screams. A stress-relieving game of “smash the vampire” was underway.

However, no matter how much Cornelia smashed, Viscount Augustine’s body and head would regenerate.

Viscount Augustine had no idea how many times he had been knocked out and woken up.

From time to time, he would struggle and fight back.

“You two little beasts!! You can’t kill me!! Once I find a chance, I’ll make you regret being born into this world! Absolutely!!!”

Viscount Augustine’s eyes were blood-red, his face contorted with madness and fury as he roared.

He was very certain that apart from torturing him and bringing him unimaginable pain, these two were not strong enough to kill him!

What was most damnable was the relaxed state of these two!

Although Viscount Augustine didn’t know what they were thinking.

He only felt the utmost humiliation.

However, in the next moment, Cornelia knocked him out again with another swing of her hammer.

“Phew.”

With a towel around her neck, Cornelia lifted a corner of it to wipe the sweat from her forehead and rested the hammer on the ground.

She seemed a bit tired and wanted to take a break.

Dekan also brought three glasses of drinks from the kitchen.

“How was it?”

“It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a satisfying workout.”

Cornelia took the drink, a look of contentment on her face.

The two sat back on the sofa, seemingly preparing for a temporary rest.

“Another round later?”

“Mmm, I kind of want to go back to the bedroom and take a shower.”

Cornelia seemed a little worried about smelling of sweat and moved a little away from Dekan.

“Then let’s call it a day here. Let’s rest early today.”

“Okay!”

So Cornelia picked up the hammer again, walked over to the vampire, stepped on his back like an executioner.

And Dekan stood at a distance.

Dekan finally took out 【Blood Purification】.

This was one of his only two epic cards.

Now he could finally test the effect of this card.

He activated Blood Purification on Viscount Augustine.

Instantly, a light tinged with a hint of scarlet enveloped Viscount Augustine.

“Aaargh!”

Viscount Augustine’s veins bulged as he struggled painfully on the ground.

However, he couldn’t stop the blood mist rising from his body.

“Aaargh! You bastard, what have you done! My, where has my noble blood gone?!”

“You’ve been poisoned. We’re helping you purify it.”

Just as Viscount Augustine was about to counterattack, Cornelia smashed him on the head with her hammer again, helping to calm the patient down.

Dekan looked at Viscount Augustine’s condition and felt that even his skin hadn’t shriveled a bit.

It seemed that against a high-rank enemy, one session couldn’t steam out much blood.

But Dekan and Cornelia had plenty of patience. If they couldn’t cure the vampire in one go, a few more treatment courses would do.
