Raviel and Garion stood across from each other in the empty and wide field.
Ravie's long coat swayed slightly as he crossed his arms.
"It seems you have never witnessed the full power of a second realm cultivator at the completion stage, have you?"
He gestured toward himself and smirked.
"So... before I show you the third realm... how about I let you see this first?"
Garion smirked and lowered his stance.
"Alright then. Show me. I've always wanted to know just how strong a complete second realm really is."
Raviuel raised his right hand, and the air around him began to ripple.
"But before that... there's something you should know about me."
Garion tilted his head slightly. "Go on."
Raviel's eyes shone faintly yellow and red.
"I didn't become the patriarch of the Revalis Clan at a young age just because I'm talented enough to reach the third realm."
He extended his arm, and mana began to pulse around his hand, shifting between red and yellow light.
"It is because I awakened a rare dual trait, which is thunder and flame."
Garion raised his brow slightly. "A dual trait, huh?"
Raviel nodded proudly, showcasing his red and yellow mana.
"Exactly. My flame can carry the power of thunder, and my lightning can burn with the force of fire. Two elements in perfect harmony."
He lifted his hand higher, and the wind began to stir even more.
"And also when a second-realm cultivator reaches the completion stage, their traits will awaken completely."
"In this state, mana flows freely through the body, so... we can use it directly as a weapon... like this."
Flame and lightning surged together, spiraling around his arms.
In seconds, a sword of burning and crackling flame and thunder formed in his grasp.
Raviel looked at Garion, grinning confidently.
"See this? I don't need martial art techniques anymore. I can attack you directly with my mana."
Raviel clenched his fist, grinning even wider.
"This is the true power of the second realm's peak and above."
Garion's eyes shifted between the sword and Raviel's hand, smiling faintly.
"So you're basically a wizard."
Raviel blinked. "A wizard?"
Garion nodded, amused.
"Yeah. From what I read in some books, that's what they were called. The people who use mana to cast attacks like that flame and thunder magic."
Raviel tilted his head, intrigued.
"Interesting. We never use that word here... but your description really fits us."
He smiled slightly.
"Then yes, I suppose you call me that. A wizard that uses spells to fight."
Raviel raised his flaming lightning sword and pointed it forward.
"Don't hold back, sect leader Garion. I want to see if your 'body cultivation' can withstand a spell from a true second realm cultivator."
Garion rolled his shoulders once, his calm smirk never fading.
"Fine by me. Try not to burn yourself out before we start the real fight."
Raviel's eyes narrowed slightly, his tone sharp but amused.
"You're really fearless, Garion. I can see now why your disciples act like that."
Garion shrugged. "Guess they learned from me."
Thunder then crackled across Raviel's fingers.
"Then let's see if that confidence of yours can hold up."
Three more swords appeared beside the first one, each one made from flame and thunder.
Raviel raised his left hand and pointed forward.
"Let's see if you can take this."
All four of our swords shot forward at once, whistling as they cut through the air.
Raviels' hand moved fluidly as he controlled them, adjusting their paths with precision.
The onlookers watching through the screen gasped as their fiery blade closed in
Garion didn't move at first, but at the last moment, his arm shot up.
CRACK!
He caught the first sword barehanded.
The impact sent a shockwave through Gairon's body, cracking the ground a bit.
Raviel's eyes widened slightly.
He never thought that Garion could catch the sword he controlled so easily.
"You... managed to catch it?"
He even tried to take it back, but the sword just seemed to not be able to get itself out of Garion's grip.
"How can this be...?"
Garion only grinned, still observing the sword, ignoring the heat coming from it.
"Not bad... Although it was made from pure mana, I can see the craftsmanship. But still, a little too light and thin."
He tightened his grip, his muscles tensing with mana, and then... with a single twist, the sword cracked and shattered apart.
Raviel's hand twitched. "Impossible..."
Garion's grin grew wider.
"You were saying something about the peak of the Second Realm?"
The remaining three swords came around from behind.
Raviel snapped his fingers, and they accelerated toward Garion.
"Don't get cocky yet!"
Garion stepped forward calmly and snapped his hands out again.
He caught the second sword by its edge, swinging it like a whip, and knocked the third aside.
The collision sent both exploding into flames midair.
The fourth sword came from the side, stabbing straight toward his ribs.
Garion turned his body slightly, catching it between his palm.
The blade quickly crackled with thunder, wanting to burn Garion.
For a second, it looks like it would pierce through, but then Garion exhaled, flaring his mana.
A pulse of mana exploded from his arms, and the sword shattered instantly, fragments scattering around before disappearing.
Raviel lowered his hand slowly, his eyes focused.
"So you can fight without weapons... and without techniques... just pure strength."
Garion shook his hands once, smoke rising faintly from his palm.
"I told you before. I trained my body, making it my only weapon."
Raveil smiled slightly, though his tone carried excitement.
"Interesting, very interesting. I can see now that this won't be easy."
Garion cracked his neck and pointed at him.
"Good. I don't like easy fights anyway."
The air between them grew hotter again as Raviel raised both hands.
Lightning and fire spiraled together, forming an even larger blade above his head.
Garion steadied his stance, his smirk returning.
"So that's your next move, huh?"
Raviel grinned back.
"This time, I won't hold back."
Garion flexed his fingers, the ground beneath his feet cracking once more.
"Perfect. Let's make this round count."
