The four remaining contestants spread out, watching the twins tensely.
They had seen how quickly the twins beat the first two, and now they were being extra careful.
The steel stick user glanced at the others, urgently devising a plan.
"Looks like they're splitting up. Let's just face them two-on-one."
The axe user frowned, shifting his stance.
"Are you crazy? You saw what they did just now, right? They took down the first two with a single hit each."
The other axe user nodded, tightening his grip on his axe handle.
"Yeah. One punch and one kick finished them off. What do you think will happen if two of us face one of them, huh?"
The twins' daggers nodded, agreeing with both axe users.
"Right, if we face them two-on-one... then we will just get beaten like the first two."
His eyes then narrowed, glancing toward Rynor, who acted defensively.
"So... let's just gang up on one if they were splitting. We don't have another choice, right?"
He also pointed at him with his chin.
"I also noticed that the one with yellow hair appeared to be fighting more defensively than the other one."
He crossed both of his daggers in front of his face, smirking.
"So... let's just crush him together first and fast before the other one manages to join in."
Rynar tilted his head and laughed from across the arena.
"Yellow-haired, huh? Guess that means you're up, bro."
Rynor grinned and stretched his legs.
"Four on one, huh? That's fine with me. It will just make the fight more interesting."
He rolled his shoulder once and dropped into a loose, open stance, both arms slightly raised, turning one foot outward.
"Come on then. Let's make this quick and at least a little more interesting."
The dagger user smirked, his eyes narrowing.
"Good. He's cocky and thinks that he can handle all of us alone."
The steel-stick user lifted his weapon and nodded.
"The twins' arrogance makes it even easier for us. Let's finish this fast."
One of the axe users tightened his grip, breathing heavily.
"No holding back. Let's go all out and hit him together."
Rynor tilted his head, smirking relaxedly.
"Good. I'd be disappointed if you didn't."
The four spread out quickly, circling him from all sides.
The first to move was the steel stick user. His weapon glowed yellow as thunder mana surged through it.
"[Thunder Swing]!"
The ground split as the stick crashed downward toward Rynor.
At the same time, the two axe users charged from the sides.
"[Flame Cleaver Strike]!"
"[Burning Axe Cross]!"
The air heated instantly, glowing red as fire mana filled the air.
Rynor's body moved.
He stepped back once, his right leg sliding behind him and swaying his arms lightly.
His movement was rhythmic and loose, flowing from one motion to another as his feet shifted across the ground.
The steel stick hit the ground, throwing dust everywhere, but Rynor had already sidestepped.
He lifted his leg and spun, kicking the stick and knocking it aside before his foot dropped again.
But the dagger user already appeared from behind, lightning running along his blades.
"[Thunder Fang Rush]!"
Rynor bent low and spun on his hands, his legs sweeping around in a tight circle.
His kick caught the dagger user's wrist, sending one dagger flying.
He pushed off the ground with both arms, flipping upright again, his body never breaking rhythm.
The crowd roared.
"What kind of martial art is that?!"
One axe user came from behind him again, his weapon glowing hotter.
"[Blazing Splitter]!"
Rynor ducked low, raising one knee, blocking the axe handle with his shin.
He then drove the same leg forward into the man's stomach. The hit forced him back a few steps.
The second axe user jumped in immediately after, swinging his weapon overhead.
"[Flame Break]!"
Rynor leaned sideways, sliding one hand across the ground, then twisted and used his back leg to kick upward, hitting the man's arm and throwing off his swing.
His other leg came up immediately after, slamming into the man's jaw.
The crowd gasped seeing how the fighter was beaten down with his weird leg martial arts.
The steel-stick user rushed again, frowning as his face was covered with sweat.
"Stop moving for a moment, you bastard!"
Rynor just smiled as he danced even more.
"Make me if you can, weakling!"
The steel stick glowed once more.
"[Chain Lightning Impact]!"
Lightning danced through the weapon as he swung again and again, each strike faster than before.
Rynor bent and shifted, ducking under every swing, his legs moving in perfect rhythm.
His movements looked effortless, each dodge turning into the start of another attack.
He spun low again, planting one hand down, and drove both legs up in a twisting kick.
His boot hit the stick user's chest twice in quick bursts, forcing him to stumble back.
The man fell onto his knees, gasping for air.
The dagger user came again, blade still crackling with thunder.
"[Thunder Fang Burst]!"
Rynor turned sharply.
His arm lifted to block, sparks flew off the gauntlet.
He grabbed the man's arm and pulled him forward, twisting his hips before delivering a rising knee into his ribs.
The dagger user coughed, eyes going wide before collapsing.
One of the axe users, the last standing, let out a frustrated yell.
"You bastard! [Burning Cyclone]!"
He spun with his axe, flames wrapping around his body as he charged straight toward Rynor.
Rynor took one slow breath, crouched low, and stepped in.
His leg snapped upward in a straight kick, striking clean against the man's chest.
The attack broke the cyclone mid-spin, fire bursting outward as the man's body slammed into the ground.
The arena went silent for a moment, the flames fading.
All four were down.
Rynor straightened, exhaling once.
His breathing was steady, and his expression didn't really change at all.
He brushed dust off his shoulder and looked around at the fallen opponents.
Rynar clapped slowly from the side, his grin wide.
"I thought you'd make it flashy, and from what I see... you indeed made it quite flashy."
Rynor laughed, rolling his neck.
"Don't you know that this martial art is a bit flashy, and also... they are still too weak to make me serious."
Both twins just laughed and went back to the side, preparing for other opponents.
