BOOM!

The thunderclap of water striking the air filled the region above the Los Angeles bridge, and the people on the bridge below could only look up in awe at the large-scale battle taking place. Gina was giving Yuslev a fight for the ages, and even though Madam Rose desperately wanted to go up there and help out, she knew that this was a battle that was far beyond her capabilities! Those two titans were creating elemental devastations beyond mortal understanding, and Madam Rose knew that anyone below S Rank would be eradicated the moment they tried to get in between that battle!

"Rose! There's a problem! A big problem!"

Madam Rose turned around sharply when she heard the voice of her vice-captain, George, calling to her from behind! George had a look of absolute terror on his face, and Rose could only wonder what could have happened to make the normally stoic George so afraid! George told Madam Rose to come with him immediately, and Madam Rose immediately ran after him as he jumped through the air towards the other end of the bridge! As they approached the other end of the bridge, Rose noticed that there were multiple figures wearing strange black outfits that made them look like assassins standing around two bodies. The bodies were lying on the bridge floor, and Madam Rose didn't need to be a genius before she realized exactly who those two people were!

'Jason's sisters?'

Madam Rose felt a wave of terror pass through her heart once she saw how still the two girls were lying, and for a moment, she thought that she was going to be sick! Jason's sisters had been injured in this battle? This wasn't good! Are they dead!? Please, Lord, let them not be dead! Madam Rose knew that Jason was a rational person, but she had no idea what he would do if he found out that his sisters had been killed because of an attack that was targeting the guild leaders. Fuck! Madam Rose immediately jumped down from where she had been standing and landed a few meters away from the girls, and Madam Rose could feel her heart slamming against her ribcage as she listened intently for any sign of a heartbeat! And a sudden surge of relief burst through her body when she heard two distinct heartbeats coming from the girls! They were alive! They were fucking alive! Madam Rose put her hand to her chest as she let out a sigh of relief before she quickly spoke to one of the men dressed as assassins!

"Let me have a look at them! George, bring a healer! Anyone at all! Just tell them that this is important!"

George nodded as he jumped off to bring someone, and Madam Rose asked the Phantom to give her space, but the Phantom didn't move out of the way. Madam Rose wondered if he had even heard her as she was about to ask him to move again, but everything in the area suddenly stopped as a massive pressure pressed down on everyone on the bridge.

DOON!

Madam Rose turned around sharply when she felt that pressure, and she immediately recognized it!

'Jason!'

Jason was standing on an elevated platform a few meters behind Madam Rose. His face was set in a look of absolute fury as he stood there and looked down at his sisters, and Madam Rose watched as his gaze moved up to the battle that was still raging between the two powerhouses above them. Gina was beating the shit out of Yuslev, and Jason only watched them for a moment before he turned back to his sisters. Jason took a step, and he suddenly appeared right beside his sisters, and crouched down between both of them with a strained look on his face. Jason could hear their hearts beating softly, and he gently ran his hand over Maya's dirty face before looking over to Janet as well. Even though Jason wasn't happy with the decisions that Janet had made or what she had done to their family, at this moment, there was a sudden surge of protectiveness that Jason felt towards both his sisters when he realized how close he had come to losing them.

'I should have given them the crystals a long time ago.'

Jason realized now that he should've awakened his sister's Avaran Gene a long time ago. Jason had been hesitant to give them crystals because he knew that awakening the mana inside of them would make them easier targets for any magic-wielding creature out there. Giving anyone mana in this world was no different from painting a target on their back, especially if they were related to him, since they would undoubtedly have similar magic signatures. But Jason knew that he couldn't risk it anymore. This moment was almost like a warning from the world to Jason, telling him that he was tempting fate by leaving his sisters so vulnerable, and Jason wasn't the sort of person to ignore such a warning. Jason's sisters were always going to be targets no matter what, so wasn't it better for them to have some form of protection that would allow them to survive rather than for them to just be completely defenseless? Jason let out a calm breath, and he made up his mind at that moment. Jason pulled out two low-level crystals from his Alternate Dimension, and he crushed one of them in his hand before he opened Maya's mouth and slowly poured the crystal inside. He made sure Maya swallowed, and he watched her breathe for a few seconds before he turned and did the same thing with Janet.

Once the powdered crystal entered the girls, they jolted like they had just been shocked with electricity! The human part of their body reacted violently to the mana inside the crystals and immediately began to reject it, but that part of their body was immediately pushed down by their more dominant Avaran Gene, and it wasn't long before Jason felt a constant wave of gentle mana flowing from the two girls. Both Janet and Maya had awakened their superhuman Genes!

At the side, Madam Rose looked on in shock, and she tried her best to understand what the hell just happened! Did those two girls just become superhumans!? Madam Rose was sure that this was mana! They had been regular humans just a moment ago, but now Madam Rose could feel a steady wave of mana coming off their bodies! It was barely noticeable, and it was only enough to classify them as E Rank superhumans at best, but it was still mana! Madam Rose immediately wondered if Jason had discovered some way to make any human into a superhuman, but she shook her head and got rid of that idea. It was just so outlandish that it didn't make any sense! That meant that the only reasonable explanation here was that Jason's sisters had a special biological factor that allowed something like this to happen.

'Who the hell are the Marcs really? Are they even human? This isn't normal!'

Jason had no idea what was going through Rose's mind, and he simply took another pair of crystals and fed them to his sisters again, and he watched as the injuries that both girls had slowly began to heal themselves. Now that the girls had awakened their gene, they had also awakened the fast-healing ability that they had inherited from their father. Ever since he awakened as a superhuman, Jason had always healed very quickly from any injury, regardless of how severe it was, and even though his sisters were far weaker than he was, their bodies were now capable of healing faster than any regular human! The wound on Janet's shoulder immediately started to close, and Maya groaned as her concussion slowly began to leave her. Jason watched them both for a few more moments, and he smiled when Maya finally opened her eyes.

"Oni… chan?"
