Strongest Necromancer System

Chapter 432: What Do You Really Want?

Agiel leaned back on her hands, and her chest pushed against her thin singlet as she continued speaking.

"In this battle alone, we had to face off against close to five hundred attackers from the New Order cult. Most of them were just regular humans or low-ranking D and C Ranks, but there were also a few high-level A Ranks in there, and the weaker superhumans weren't afraid to put their lives on the line as suicide bombers. They killed a lot of people. We're trying to interrogate some members of his cult to see if they know what his next plans are, but we haven't gotten anything out of them yet."

Jason scowled when he heard the sheer amount of destruction that had been carried out here. Jason already knew that things were bad, but if there were so many people supporting this cause, then this could be a lot more serious. Jason turned to the side with narrowed eyes, and he sent out Alpha and a few other Phantoms from his Alternate Dimension. Jason hadn't known that there were survivors from the battle, but now that he did, he realized that he didn't even need to speak to Agiel about this anymore. All Jason had to do was find one of those prisoners and take them as his subordinate, and he would have all the information he needed. The Phantoms quickly began moving across the shadows and through the destroyed city, and Alpha led them towards the military camp nearby to search for where the prisoners were kept. Jason was simply staying silent as he waited for some news from the Phantoms, but he turned back when he heard Agiel speak.

"You know, when I saw you, I thought you were here to ask me what I knew about your father and how our families are connected."

Jason hummed when he heard this from Agiel. In truth, Jason also wanted to know about this, and he knew that this was a good opportunity to learn about it, but…

"It isn't like you're going to tell me what I want to know just cause I asked."

Agiel grinned confidently, and she shrugged before crossing one leg over another. Jason couldn't help but watch the way her nipples pushed against her crop top when she leaned back, and he found his eyes trailing down to her well-sculpted abs before moving over her long, toned legs when she crossed them. Agiel noticed the way Jason looked at her, and she smiled invitingly before saying.

"That doesn't mean you can't persuade me into telling you. I wouldn't be opposed to giving you some information… if you ask nicely."

Jason scoffed at this, and he didn't need to be a genius to know exactly what Agiel was asking him to do. Was she really willing to tell him what he wanted to know if he just had sex with her? That was probably the strangest thing that Jason had ever heard, and this was the first time that Jason would encounter a woman who was so crass in the way she approached him. Most women were too shy to even look him in the eye, but for some reason, Agiel wasn't afraid to openly state exactly what she wanted.

'She reminds me of Gina… a little.'

Jason scoffed when this thought crossed his mind, and he knew that Gina would kill him if she heard him say that. Agiel was the first person that Jason had seen Gina show an actual open hatred for, and comparing the similarities between the two of them would be a bad idea.

Jason spoke up after a few seconds, and Agiel smiled when she thought that he was going to accept her offer, but she frowned when she heard him ask a question instead.

"What exactly is it that you want from me, Agiel? You've been telling me for a while now that there's something only I can give you, right? I don't even know what that thing is, cause I'm sure it isn't sex."

Agiel suddenly felt a strange emotion in her heart when she heard Jason say this. She could see on Jason's face that he was very serious at this moment. Jason genuinely wanted to know what she was after, and he was willing to hear her out completely. But for some reason, Agiel felt her throat go tight as she turned away from Jason. She looked over at the TV showing a cartoon with a faraway look, and there were strange emotions in her heart that she couldn't even describe.

Jason felt his eyes narrow when he saw Agiel's reaction at this moment. He watched her turn away from him, and he wondered what the hell could possibly be going through her head. Was her request so bad that she couldn't even say it to him? Did she plan to ask for something that he could never even give her? Jason wondered what Agiel was going to say, but he was surprised when he suddenly saw something strange. The edge of Agiel's ear shone with a dark red hue, and for a second, Jason thought that he was seeing things! Jason tried to see if it was some trick of the light from the TV, but no matter how much he tried, there was no denying it!

"Are you blushing?"

Agiel recoiled away from Jason and turned to him with a scandalous look!

"Huh!? What are you talking about, you fool?"

Agiel's face was twisted in a scowl, but Jason felt an amused smile spreading on his face when he saw the bright red hue that had spread over her entire face! She was fucking blushing! Jason chuckled all of a sudden, and Agiel put her hand up to her face, and she cursed when she felt how hot her face was! She had been so worried because she had no idea what this feeling in her heart was, and now she finally had her answer! Agiel was embarrassed!

"Fuck, stop laughing, would you! This isn't funny! And turn the fuck away!"

Agiel quickly got up from the bed as she trekked away to the bathroom, and Jason listened as the sound of water splashing echoed through the hotel room. Jason was still chuckling even while listening to Agiel curse him from the bathroom, and she walked out a few seconds later while cleaning her face with a towel. There was a deep scowl on her face, but her cheeks were no longer red, and she gave Jason her hardest glare.

"Stop fucking laughing."

"Okay, okay. I won't laugh. But it's nice to know there's a cute side to you somewhere under all that insanity."

Jason raised his hands in surrender while he said this, and Agiel clicked her tongue at him! Agiel felt her lips tug up into a smile for a split second when Jason said the word 'cute,' but she killed that smile with brutal efficiency, and she shook her head before speaking.

"About your question from earlier… I can't tell you what I want."

Jason raised a brow at her, and he asked her why she couldn't tell him. Agiel felt a great surge of frustration rise from her heart as she cursed! She put her hand over her head and cursed in annoyance before pointing to Jason in anger!

"Look, I just can't, okay! That's not how things are done where I'm from! In my world, the Marked aren't the ones who create their fate! The Markers are the ones that do that! Your father did it for my mother, and now you have to do it for me! So I can't tell you what I want because I don't know!"

It was impossible for Jason to be any more confused than he was at that moment. Markers? Marked? What the hell was Agiel talking about, and what did she mean his father had marked her mother? Jason watched as Agiel stared at the floor in anger, and he asked.

"You're not human, are you?"
