Daniel and Edrick, along with some other slaves, grabbed whatever was left of Thomas' body, threw it into the basement, and ignited the explosives.
The underground room—or hell, I should say—that had defiled and deflowered countless women burned down in a huge explosion along with all the sinners inside it.
Meanwhile, I, covered in their filthy blood, drew water from the well and could only calm my blazing heart after pouring the water over my head.
---
"It was only a few hours ago that I used to think it was fine to work as a slave if we could live a little longer," Daniel said, standing before me with all the slaves gathered behind him as I sat on the boundary of the well. "I've been working here for thirty years, and I had already accepted in my soul that I am nothing more than a slave—that I don't have the rights of a human, that I should be glad I'm still getting food after working myself to the bone. I thought I had grown old enough not to feel any desire anymore."
His voice grew louder as he continued,
"But now, I can't stop my racing heart. Everyone here, including me, is ready to revolt against the atrocities we've endured all these years."
"Daniel is right."
"We won't tolerate it anymore."
"We want justice."
The slaves behind Daniel shouted, agreeing with him.
"Sir Morning Star," Daniel called firmly, "it doesn't matter whether we win this battle for freedom or not. We cannot live the life of slaves anymore. Give us your orders, Sir Morning Star."
"Give us your orders, Sir Morning Star."
"Give us your orders, Sir Morning Star."
All the people gathered there demanded in unison.
Their eyes, which had once given up on everything, including life itself, now burned with an intense passion as they made their first demand since becoming slaves.
I parted my lips, and everyone fell suddenly silent, realizing that I was finally about to speak.
"Your order… Go back to the mines and complete your given task."
Their fiery expressions turned to confused ones upon hearing my unexpected order.
"S-sir Morning Star?" Daniel murmured, his face puzzled.
"What happened? Don't wanna follow my order anymore?"
"Sir, may you explain your reason behind this order?" Edrick asked, speaking up.
"The reason is simple. All of you will be killed if you revolt right now."
My plain statement created a wave of gasps and murmurs among the crowd.
"B-but sir, we aren't afraid of death," Daniel stated.
"Yes, sir, we are ready to die for freedom."
The crowd grew restless, insisting.
"I'm aware you aren't afraid, but there is no need to put your lives in unnecessary danger," I explained. "They still have more than a hundred guards who will return tomorrow. And even if we do win against them, what about the guards of Grade 2 and Grade 1 mines who are far stronger than the guards here?"
"So, sir, do you want us to do nothing?" Daniel asked.
"At least for now. Work as usual and keep my identity hidden at all costs," I commanded, rising to my feet. "And don't worry, when the right time comes, you will get the chance to fight."
From then on, it took the combined efforts of Daniel and Edrick to calm the excited crowd and send them back to their usual work.
Everyone began leaving until only one group remained.
It was Diego's group.
The gigantic group walked toward me and only stopped when their large shadow cast over my whole body.
They slowly raised their arms, making me wonder if they wanted to fight me; however, their next move actually startled me.
Diego, along with his group, pushed his ass out and bowed with his humongous body before me as he spoke, "Sir Morning Star, please forgive us for what we did that day."
Their hilarious bow and the way they struggled to keep their posture with those huge bodies forced a chuckle out of me.
"No need to apologize," I replied, suppressing my laugh. "Didn't I already punish you for your mistakes?"
"Still, sir, that wasn't the only time we harassed the new slaves. Every time a new group came, we forced them to give some of their stones to us," Diego confessed. "Instead of standing with our fellow oppressed slaves, we took our frustration out on them. Till now, we have been using our strength for the wrong deeds."
Their asses jiggled as they spoke further. "Your actions today made us realize how pathetic we actually were. Please punish us, Sir Morning Star."
Jiggle-jiggle
The more they insisted, the more violently their asses shook, forcing me to subconsciously spank the hell out of them.
The group went flying from the impact as they shouted mid-air in cracked voices, "Thannnnkkkk youooooo, Sir Morning Starrrrr!"
"Hahaha, these idiots!" I laughed out loud, failing to hold myself any longer.
The rest of the day went rather peacefully. I completed my task of mining, along with stealing the soul stones, until my inventory was filled to the brim and returned to the dark stone house again.
"I feel somewhat different today," I murmured. "It's like I've gotten stronger."
"Vivi show me the status window."
"Initialising Host's request..."

"Whoa, there are definitely some differences," I gasped. "All of my stats have increased by at least thirty since I last saw them. Just a little, but the manifestation of my bloodline has also increased."
As I was glancing at the screen, my eyes suddenly widened upon seeing the most major change:
"Realm: Late-Stage Ascendant"
"My realm has increased!!!???????"
I exclaimed, unable to contain my excitement.
"I-I think he's angry at something," a flustered female voice came from outside. "Should we come tomorrow?"
"I-I'm not going back after coming all this way!" another female voice stated.
"What should we—"
"What are you doing here, Aris and Silvia?" I asked, opening the door as the two stood at the entrance, their faces flushed with intense red.
