Destiny Weaving System- Teacher Becomes Dual Cultivating Overlord

Chapter 85: Malice of Humanity

"My current situation is quite difficult. I can improve my cultivation, but without finding a Heavenly Flame, it won't be so effective."

Elaine spoke.

"I know." Ken nodded and continued.

"As soon as we leave this place, I will help you get a Heavenly Flame. I already know where it is.'

Elaine smiled brightly. She knew that as long as she acquired a Heavenly Flame, she could easily close the gap between her and Julia in terms of talent.

Even though Julia's Technique was similar to hers in terms of rank, it clearly wasn't meant to improve one's talent.

It was more about increasing one's strength.

"Ken, I am confused about one thing. All of this is a conspiracy, right? So, why take such a risk?"

"From what I can tell, our enemies are much stronger than we are. They should've been able to wipe us out. So, why take such a sneaky route?"

Julia asked.

She had been quite hesitant about this topic, but after this battle, she felt like she should know about it.

After all, they were in this situation together. Even if they weren't lovers, she would've asked the same question under such circumstances.

Hearing her tone, Ken realized that he needed to give them some information.

He stared at them with a serious expression and explained.

"We are about to face the enemies that can easily wipe out major powers of our continent."

"Yes, they can wipe us out with ease. But their problem is their past. They picked a fight with the entire world."

"In other words, if their information is passed outside, they would face the wrath of the entire world."

"That's why they use such a sneaky method to kill us all."

Hearing that, Julia's heart almost stopped. She took a deep breath and released it before saying.

"I shouldn't have asked."

"Hehehehe! We don't need to worry about it, right, Ken?" Alice winked at him and asked.

Ken showed a helpless smile and shook his head.

"Don't worry, I will not let them succeed."

His eyes narrowed as he clenched his fist.

"When they decided to destroy the Golden Dragon Sect, I was already their enemy. Now, it is even more so."

"I will destroy them at any cost."

Hearing that, Elaine wrapped her hand around his and said.

"And, we will always be there with you."

Julia and Alice nodded their heads.

No matter who their enemies are, they were more than prepared to face them.

"Alright, tell us more about them. We need to know them if we have to face them." Julia asked.

Ken had no choice but to explain.

"They are called the Nether Race. They have the power to copy the appearance of others. I am not sure if they can regain their memories."

"I tend to believe they can't. Otherwise, they would've targeted me alone. Our sect had one of its spies. His name was Makim."

"We faced off, and I killed him. After his death, someone replaced his appearance, but that person didn't know anything about me."

"But one thing is sure. They should've infiltrated almost any kind of power in this world as long as it is worthy of their attention."

"As for their other powers, I am not so sure."

Hearing that, Julia and Alice gasped in absolute shock while Elaine thought of something else.

"Wait, they can't infiltrate any force they want to. Not every force is as lenient as our sect."

"Some of the forces have strict rules, and without proper information, they can't infiltrate these forces."

"So, they must have the ability to inherit their memories. Or, they could also bring more than one person into the sect. In that case, your assumption would be correct."

Hearing her thought, Julia nodded and added.

"Not only that, the fact that they could infiltrate huge forces capable of breaking the entire country by themselves means they have huge leverage against us."

"We can not make enemies with the world."

Alice showed a confused look and said.

"But, why would we make enemies with the world if we reveal their identity? Wouldn't that make us more heroic?"

Ken felt a bit amused at her naivety. When he first met her, he didn't think of her as a dumb girl.

And, it was true. Alice wasn't dumb, but she wasn't bright either.

So, he calmly explained it to her.

"To fight them, I plan to establish a force, something like an organization. But the resources of this world are limited."

"Nobody wants to share a pie for the betterment of the world. So, they will definitely try to seize our resources and power if we show any of them."

"This will be a big trouble because of the Nether Race. They can easily use this as an opportunity to destroy us."

Hearing his words, Alice rubbed her head and asked.

"But what you said doesn't make sense. They are the enemies of the world, right? So, why wouldn't anyone believe in us?"

Ken turned towards Juli and Elaine. They nodded their heads, and Ken explained.

"Because that's human nature. Until they face the ultimate demise, they will keep stretching the boundaries."

"It's just like when you have a task to do, but there is a deadline, so you keep pushing your work until that last moment."

"Normally, this wouldn't be a problem. But what if something happens just before you start your work?"

"What if you can't ignore this thing? You will miss the deadline and thus, you will face punishment."

When she gave that example, she immediately got embarrassed.

She remembered her past. This was exactly her. Every single time her mother asked her to learn Talisman, she would do anything to avoid the task.

Many times, she almost got into trouble because of that. Thinking of those punishments, she gritted her teeth.

That was just a punishment of a mother to her child. It was painful, but nothing that would change the world.

But if she compared it to the world and its current problems, she realized that punishment could be the death and extermination of humanity.

She sucked hot air and asked.

"Doesn't that mean we will be facing them alone while hiding ourselves? It's too unfair to us."

"Will it?"

Ken chuckled as he stood up and rubbed his fists together.

"Only those who take the challenge head-on are capable enough to pursue a stronger goal. Let me give you an example."

"Two people are chasing the same dream. One of them chooses a route that forces him to fight an unbeatable opponent."

"Other chooses a route that has enemies weaker than him. So, that person keeps killing his enemies until his name is resounded throughout the world."

"But the first one faces one enemy and uses everything, his willpower, luck, and creativity to win."

"So, when they face a stronger enemy, who do you think will come out on top?"

Alice rolled her eyes and said.

"Of course, it's the first one."

"That's right! So, we won't hide from this kind of challenge. Of course, this doesn't mean we will take suicide missions."

"Our goal is simple. We will take these challenges and use them to propel ourselves further."

"For resources, reputation, and range, we need to establish an organization. But I will be the hidden ace."

Ken explained and turned around. He pointed at Elaine and said.

"You will be its leader. Our organization's goal is to invite talented people from an ordinary background and invest a lot of resources in them."

"We will only invite a few individuals, and each of them must be extraordinary."

Hearing that, Elaine nodded her head and spoke.

"But those with powerful talent often do not bow to others."

Ken shook his head and said.

"We don't need loyal people. We can create loyalty. Give them what they need in the moment of desperation, and you will get a loyal worker."

"This is a model that has been proven by many."

Julia's nose wrinkled as she said.

"Your requirements are hard to meet. It's not like we will stumble upon a man who has lost his entire family or a village to some hunters."

"Then, I will give you another example. Find people whose goals are similar to ours."

"Like the ones who want to prove their alchemy, talisman, blacksmith, formation, runes, swordsmanship."

"There will never be a lack of ambitious people, and we need them. Of course, we also need to test their character."

"This is one thing that you need to focus on. Those without any morality will always betray us."

Alice raised her hand and said.

"Umm! Won't this take a long time? I mean, our sect has been established for almost a thousand years now."

"It has barely produced over five thousand disciples, and among them, only a few have managed to leave the country."

"With so many restrictions, can we ever create a force big enough to help us?"

Ken gave her a surprised look, and so did Julia and Elaine.

Alice rolled her eyes and stomped her foot on the ground.

"I am not dumb."
