Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three large stones fell on him. Although Ken managed to dodge them in the nick of time, the impact was enough to cause cracks in the ice Armor.

If he hadn't been wearing these, he would've been seriously injured just by the impact.

But Arlong didn't let him rest. He slapped his hand on the ground, and it shook.

A fierce dragon head made out of earth element emerged from the ground, with its body following the structure of the eastern dragon.

Seeing this, Ken immediately ran away.

Arlong screamed as the dragon swept towards Ken at an incredible speed. It was hard to believe something made on Earth could be so fast.

But despite his disbelief, Ken tried to run as far as he could.

Or rather as much as he could. He couldn't outrun this attack, but the more he ran, the more Qi this attack used to chase him.

When he thought he had run enough, he turned around and clenched his five fingers.

He was no longer holding the sword, but instead decided to go primal with his fist.

The fiery heat emerged from his Dantian, as hot Qi passed through his veins and into his fist.

He stared at the upcoming Earth Dragon. It was nearly ten meters long, five meters wide, and five meters tall.

This was big enough to swallow him in a single gulp.

More importantly, this dragon was coming with such speed that it was enough to break his Ice Armor with ease.

But he didn't fear it. Instead, he brought his right hand back before punching forward with all of his strength.

The hot Qi blasted out of his fist and ignited into a massive flaming fist as it moved towards the Earth Dragon.

Two elemental powers collided. The fire and earth stopped each other. The fire tried to burn the earth while the earth tried to swallow the fire.

But just when he thought he had succeeded, three spikes suddenly emerged from the ground and impaled him through different parts of his body.

He was fast enough to save his heart and lungs, but the spikes pierced through his body, causing severe damage.

Ken released the orange flame that burned the spikes passing through his body. Using his Qi, he managed to pull out ashes and molten earth from his body.

He also released his green flame and started regenerating his wounds. The holes on his body were quite huge.

With so many holes to fill, the Human Flame was gonna take some time, and more importantly, it was gonna consume a lot of Qi.

This was important for him since he didn't have a lot of Qi.

But thankfully, he had a lot of Qi Pill on him. He swallowed those Qi Pills and started recovering his Qi while spending it on Human Flame.

His eyes didn't leave the clash between fire and earth until they turned into mere particles and fell on top of the ground.

He gulped heavily and thought.

'So, he never planned to use that move to attack me? No, he was planning on using it to attack me, but I was able to repel it.'

'Since he can easily control the ground, he can create spikes from anywhere. I should've thought about it before.'

'But if this is the case, I need to go faster. I need to get stronger. Otherwise, even those Qi Pills, I will not survive for long.'

Just as he thought, two large spikes came towards him from left and right.

It was almost bigger than Arlong, and Ken didn't see it coming until it did.

Now, he had only two ways to deal with his situation. Jump and risk falling over spikes or being hit by the impact.

Or just fight back!

He chose the third option.

He clenched his fist, gathering a small amount of Qi into his fist against Arlong's fist.

Bang!

Their collision left Arlong stunned. He didn't understand why Ken was so weak all of a sudden.

Crack! Whoosh!

The impact of the collision broke Ken's arm, but his body flew back hundreds of meters away while he stabilized himself in mid-air.

Ken landed on his feet and twisted his hand.

Crack!

With a simple twist, his arm was locked in the right place.

'I have only managed to digest two Qi Pills. I need to digest more before he chases me.'

'But I can't just keep running. I need to find another way to defeat this guy. But, how? How can I fight him on equal ground?'

Ken was confused and a bit scared.

While he was thinking and recovering his Qi, three different earth spears rushed towards him from left, right, and back.

He could only move forward, but this meant closing the gap between him and Arlong.

Ken stepped back, letting two earth spears collide while the third one touched his skin.

But a powerful orange flame burst out of his back, burning the earth spear into a molten piece of rock.

"You are getting good at fighting, but all of this ends now."

Arlong impatiently spoke. Even his skin turned red.

He raised both of his hands, and suddenly, the ground underneath Ken shook.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Several cracks appeared on the ground, creating large holes, but instead of moving away from the lava, they started rising.

Splash! Splash!

The lava exploded everywhere, reaching tens, if not twenty, meters tall in a single leap.

Ken carefully dodged the lava while jumping from one piece of ground to another.

But as he moved, those pieces started moving up and slowly started coming together.

Although Ken didn't know what he was planning, he knew this wasn't something he could face.

Clack! Clack! Clack!

But before he could move, a layer of earth appeared around his body.

Ken's eyes turned red with anger and disbelief before his entire body was covered with a layer of earth.

'Do! I can only do it.'

Ken no longer thought about anything else. He simply stopped his Ice Armor and Dragon Scales.

At this moment, his body trembled, shaking off the earth layer from his body. But during this time, other pieces of the ground had already surrounded him.

Arlong stared at his masterpiece. This was an art.

He managed to confine Ken within those rocks, creating a sphere five times bigger than him.

With no air to breathe and the pressure of those hot rocks, he was sure that Ken would die.

He only had one regret. He wasn't sure if Ken's bloodline would go back in such condition.

He burst into laughter as he turned around and decided to find three girls. Compared to Alice and Elaine, he was more interested in Julia.

But for Julia's sake, he planned to spare them.

Just when he was about to move, he heard several crackling sounds.

He turned his head, and his eyes widened in shock.

Several cracks appeared on top of the sphere, and they kept reaching inside.

Bang!

Suddenly, the entire sphere was blasted open. Several large chunks of ground fell over lava, showing a figure in the middle, hovering in the air.

Ken opened his eyes, and a bright red light appeared.
