My Girlfriend Is So Beautiful, But She's an Assassin!

Chapter 59: Deep Voice That Makes Melt

Anindya remained silent—her expression a picture of anxiety. She didn't know whether to scold him or not—she loved Julian too much to control her emotions.

"Haaa... Alright i forgive you this time!" Anindya said with a firm expression and tone.

"Um, thank you" Julian replied with a gentle smile.

"But next time, don't do it again. You have to tell me how you're doing! Don't just read my messages!..." Anindya said firmly.

As Anindya rambled on, Julian kept a flat face.

"Gosh, she's such a chatterbox" Julian thought to himself, his expression blank.

"... do you understand?!" Anindya said firmly.

"Yes, yes, I understand~" Julian replied in a noncommittal tone.

"Why does your tone sound so noncommittal?!" Anindya asked with a suspicious expression and tone.

Julian straightened up and said.

"I understand, Lady Anindya!" Julian replied firmly.

"Good answer!," Anindya said firmly.

"So, are you feeling better?" Anindya asked.

"Yes, I feel better now" Julian replied with a smile.

"Thank goodness, I'll come over to your house after school, and I'll make you something delicious" Anindya said with a cheerfully tone.

Hearing that, Julian felt like mockingly her.

"Can you really cook?" Julian asked mockingly.

Anindya's expression immediately turned sullen.

"Uumph!... What do you think I can't cook?!" Anindya asked, annoyed.

"Yeah, because you're an assassin, so there's no way—" Julian said cheerfully.

Hearing that, Anindya immediately became irritated and shouted.

"I CAN COOK!!!" Anindya interrupted.

The shout startled everyone who came into the restroom—Julian was surprised too. While Anindya was panting with anger, a female student knocked on her cubicle door.

"Knock! Knock! Knock!"

Anindya froze.

"Y-yeah, who?" Anindya asked awkwardly.

It turned out to be a female student named Cindy—who was with her three friends.

"Are you okay in there?" Cindy asked politely.

"Sure, I'm just on the phone" Anindya replied with an awkward smile.

"Oh, I see. Okay, next time, keep your voice down because can disturb others" Cindy said quietly but firmly.

"O-okay, I'm sorry," Anindya said with an awkward tone and smile.

After that, Cindy walked out of the restroom with her three friends.

"Haha... Did the female students scold you?" Julian asked with an awkward laugh.

Hearing that, Anindya's expression immediately became sullen.

"Mooo! Whose fault do you think this is, huh?!" Anindya asked, annoyed.

"Hahahaha, okay, okay, it's my fault, I apologize" Julian said with a laugh.

"Hmph! I forgive you, but there's a condition!" Anindya said, her body straight and her head raised slightly.

Julian stop laugh.

"What condition?" Julian asked.

"You have to say, 'I love you to death, Anindya'—in a deep voice" Anindya said, her posture still straight and her smile confident.

"E-eh?!" Julian said who was shocked.

"Hm... What's wrong, Julian?" Anindya asked.

"I-I can't" Julian replied, panicked.

Anindya immediately bowed.

"Why can't?!" Anindya asked, confused.

"B-because... it's embarrassing, you know!" Julian said, nervously scratching his cheek.

"What's embarrassing?!" Anindya protested, her face slightly red, but she still tried to sound firm.

"Come on, hurry up, I'll wait!" Anindya continued.

"N-no way..." Julian said softly, still shy.

"JULIAN!!" Anindya shouted, her expression irritated and her eyes bulging.

Julian was a little surprised, then silent for a minute. Finally, he gave in—taking a deep breath.

"Okay, okay. But don't laugh at me, okay?" Julian said, already giving in.

Anindya was immediately happy after hearing that.

"Hum! I promise!" Anindya said, nodding happily.

Julian straightened his back, took a breath, then lowered his voice to a deep, heavy one.

"I LOVE YOU TO DEATH, ANINDYA"

There was silence for a few seconds. Anindya opened her mouth, slightly stunned.

"Wh-why are you silent?" Julian asked nervously, his heart beating fast.

"N-nothing, I-I'll have to hang up... I-It's time for me to go back to class, see you this afternoon..." Anindya replied nervously.

After that, a beep was heard—signaling the call had been hung up. Anindya placed both palms on her cheeks, then smiled broadly, and said.

"Haa~ah... H-His voice is really... So manly~!!!" Anindya muttered, her cheeks blushed and her eyes sparkling.

Meanwhile, Julian stared at his phone with a confused expression.

"So... am I forgiven or not?" Julian muttered with a confused expression.

"Hihihi~" a woman's voice chuckled.

Julian was immediately stuned because he recognized the voice—he slowly looked toward the entrance of his room. How shocked Julian was to see—Sekar—his mother sitting near the entrance—her expression completely mocking.

Julian's face immediately paled.

"M-Mom, H-how long have you been there?!" Julian asked nervously.

Sekar stood up—resting her chin on her right palm, her expression full of temptation.

"Since my boy started saying—'I love Anindya to death~' in that deep voice of his" Sekar said, imitating Julian's earlier speech.

Julian immediately covered his face with both palms, his cheeks reddening like a boiled crab.

"Oh my god... th-that's so embarrassing!!!" Julian said in a slightly raised voice.

Sekar walked over to Julian.

"Hahahaha, that reminds me of when you said 'I love you, Mom' on Mother's Day in elementary school—with your cute and adorable shy expression" Sekar said jokingly.

Julian immediately turned to Sekar with a panicked expression and a blushing face.

"M-MOM, PLEASE DON'T REMIND ME OF THAT!" Julian shouted pleadingly.

Sekar just chuckled.

"Okay, okay. But I have to admit, your voice was... hmm... quite 'manly'," Sekar said with a tone jokingly.

"So I'm sure Anindya is melting after hearing that manly voice of yours, hihihi~" Sekar continued, chuckling.

"ENOUGH, MOM, DON'T KEEP TEASEING ME!" Julian shouted shyly.

"HAHAHA, okay, okay, I'm sorry" Sekar said, chuckling.

Julian fell silent, sitting cross-legged on his small sofa—letting out an annoyed growl, his expression embarrassed, and his cheeks slightly blushed.

"So, why did you come to my room, Mom?!," Julian asked, annoyed.

"And why didn't you knock first?!" Julian continued.

Sekar stopped joking.

"I knocked earlier, but you didn't answer—so I opened the door and found you talking to someone on the phone—who turned out to be Anindya," Sekar replied.

"And my purpose here was just to let you know that the school representative sent me a message on WhatsApp" Sekar continued.

Julian's expression changed to one of confusion.

"What did they say?" Julian asked.

"It's nothing important, they're also providing compensation for your accident" Sekar replied.

"So, how much are they giving us?" Julian asked.

"Ten million rupiah" Sekar replied, casually.

Julian stared at his mother with wide eyes—his expression clearly shocked.

"Ten million rupiah?! That much?" Julian exclaimed in disbelief.

Sekar nodded slowly.

"Yes, they said the funds were a form of responsibility and an apology from the school for their staff's negligence" Sekar said.

"Ahh, I understand, sorry, mom. It wasn't actually a nail, but a bullet" Julian thought to himself, his expression blank as he stared at Sekar.

Sekar began to fold her arms across her chest.

"Besides, how did you get hit by a nail?! Was it because you were joking around with your friends—that you didn't notice the school staff moving things, huh?!," Sekar asked in an annoyed tone.

"Plus, a small wound like that should have just been treated in the school infirmary so it would heal immediately, but you ended up with a fever from a small wound!" Sekar continued.

"Ha-haha... I'm sorry, it seems my immune system is weakened" Julian said with an awkward laugh.

Sekar, hearing that, sighed—she didn't want to waste any more energy grumbling.

"Haa... never mind" Sekar said, not caring anymore.

"If you're feeling better—you should pick up Lily at the pet shop, because the doctor said she's been spayed and can be picked up today" Sekar continued.

Julian looked at his mother with sparkling eyes.

"Oh! Lily's finally spayed!" Julian said with a happy expression and tone.

Sekar smiled and nodded.

"Yes—Thank goodness the operation went well~" Sekar said, feeling relieved.

"Yosh, I'll pick it up this afternoon" Julian said.

"You—"

Sekar was initially shocked and about to get angry, but suddenly stopped when she understood what Julian meant.

"Hmm, I see, you want to go on a date too, huh?" Sekar teased, her expression clearly mocking.

Julian's expression immediately panicked, and his cheeks blushed again.

"W-what, t-that's not what I meant!" Julian said.

Sekar started walking backward, saying

"Hahaha, okay, I understand—you're in love" Sekar teased.

When she reached the door, Sekar grabbed the doorknob.

"Then have fun~" Sekar said.

"BAM!" the door slammed shut.

Julian could only react awkwardly as he looked at the door—then he sighed.

"Sigh~... Mom watches too many dramas, so her thoughts are all about romance" Julian complained.

Julian looked back at the TV screen.

"Forget it, I'll just continue playing PS" Julian said.

Julian picked up his PS controller and started playing Call of Duty: Mutant Apocalypse.

"Ho-oh~ Are Susujahe65 and ChaosKing online?" Julian muttered.

"Then I'll invite them to play together," Julian continued.

Julian started chatting with the two players. They responded quickly—Julian created a room, and the three of them started playing together.
