I Can Assimilate Everything

Chapter 501: Choices! II

As he saw their gazes of despair, his eyes twinkled.

Rose came beside him, her crystalline form now shimmering with an ethereal grace. She whispered something into his ear, a chime suggestion that only he could hear.

Her emerald eyes, even in this form, shone with a fiery light of pity and grace.

Achilles looked at the despairing titans, and his expression softened.

"For the sake of potentially saving your lineage," he said, his voice now offering a sliver of hope in the vast darkness.

"I could take you all away from here. This may be a path to salvation, or, should anything happen to me, whatever my fate becomes will also be your fate."

…!

At such words, Titan-Primus Shal'garon became emotional.

He looked at his people, at the tens of thousands of radiant titans who were his family, his responsibility. He looked back at their grand, harmonic citadel, a civilization built over millennia from sound and light.

Then, in a gesture that shattered every protocol of his existence, he got on his knees.

…!

The sound of a Tier 9 being kneeling was a crack in the foundation of reality!

His grand and desperate voice boomed across the void, a plea that was both a surrender and a prayer. "Please, O Executioner of Outsiders. Save us."

…!

"Save us!"

HUUM!

Achilles felt an estranged sensation hearing such words. He shook his head and proceeded to wave his hands. The authority of Quantum and The Void mixed together, a swirling vortex of multicolored uncertainty and absolute nothingness. He was designing a unique, circular domain, a vessel of impossibility.

It was meant to wrap those within it with the Regulation of Quantum, allowing it to ignore the vast distances of the cosmos, while also infusing it with the authority of The Void, protecting its passengers from the crushing pressure of the space between spaces.

"Arise," Achilles commanded, his voice a decree that shaped reality. "Quantum Star of Nothing."

The Quantum Star of Nothing.

Its formation was a glorious, paradoxical sight. It appeared like a multicolored obsidian sun, a sphere of perfect blackness that somehow radiated all the colors of probability.

Hues that shouldn't exist flickered across its surface, a constant shimmer of quantum uncertainty given form. It did not emit light; it seemed to emit possibility itself, a beacon of maybes in a universe of is.

The moment after it formed, Achilles looked to Titan-Primus Shal'garon and his people.

"Enter the Quantum Star of Nothing. It will take you hurtling into The Void, protected and away from the gazes of these tyrants who are already on their way here. Move fast."

…!

The moment he said this, Titan-Primus Shal'garon nodded and bellowed to his people, his voice a thunderous command that echoed with both sorrow and hope.

"Go. Go! Go!"

The scene was heart-wrenching. The Crystalline Titans, beings of light and song, looked at their home one last time, their crystalline forms shimmering with what could only be tears.

Then, they turned into streaks of radiant light, a meteor shower in reverse, flying towards the waiting embrace of the Quantum Star of Nothing.

Achilles's expression turned grave seconds later as he looked up.

They were out of time as they had to move!

He tapped out once more, and countless platinum strings radiated outwards, encompassing not just the thousands of titans present, but the hundreds of thousands more in their grand citadel.

He pulled, and all of them were drawn like motes of dust in a stellar wind, a mass exodus guided by the hand of a terrifying being!

His authority and power radiated upwards, causing time to flow differently in this area. Everything occurred at an accelerated rate as, precisely twenty-five seconds later…

BOOM!

A brilliant platinum light shone as not a single Crystalline Titan remained.

In an instant, Achilles wrapped his hands around Rose, their bodies becoming covered with the obsidian brilliance of The Void as they disappeared!

…!

Moments after they disappeared, space and existence itself began to tremble.

An instant later…

BOOM!

Fissures of pure, raw power exploded above the now-empty space of the Crystalline Titans.

From these tears in reality, three existences emerged, their power so immense it eclipsed the Null Scale of Existence entirely!

They were not of this scale.

These were entities of the Level Zero Scale of Existence, having exceeded Tier 9 entirely. They likely stood at Tier 1 of the Level Zero Scale, a stage where they might be likened to an adult looking down on a child for all of those in the Null Scale!

The first was a Nar'Thyss of impossible grandeur, its form a swirling nebula of butterfly wings and watchful eyes, with a crown of solidified paradox.

This was…Zar'nathaniel, the Fable of Finality.

Its presence radiated a cold, absolute certainty.

The second was a being of pure, geometric light, a tesseract of glowing lines that constantly folded and unfolded into new, impossible shapes.

This was Luminarch, the Narrative of Causality!

It spoke in equations and theorems that were also threats.

The third was a woman of heart-stopping beauty, wrapped in robes of shifting starlight, her face a mask of serene indifference.

This was Syl'thessara, the Weeping Constellation, though the being that now wore her face radiated a power and coldness that the original had never possessed.

A clone, an avatar, or something far more sinister.

Their combined pressure shattered the nearby harmonic citadel into glittering dust without them even trying.

"He's gone," Zar'nathaniel's voice was a flat statement of fact that sounded like a judgment. "Mor'dantius. His Fable has been… erased."

Luminarch pulsed with cold, analytical light. "The perpetrator has also vanished. Along with the entire indigenous civilization of this sector. The narrative threads have been cleanly severed. The precision is… unsettling. To do this, they must be of our level."

The being wearing Syl'thessara's face smiled, a cruel, beautiful curve of her lips.

"Was this the Nexus Deviation Point? An existence from this Star Sea achieving our level of power? How utterly… amusing."

Zar'nathaniel's many eyes narrowed. "Amusing is not the word I would choose. This is an unprecedented breach of narrative control."

"Then we will simply reassert control," the false Syl'thessara said with a wave of her hand.

Her voice was cold, merciless. "Turn this entire Star Sea upside down. Cleanse every lifeform within it. It is now marked for death. And we shall send word above… to the Grand Weaver himself."

…!

It was a terrifying progression of events!

Every choice had a consequence.

And as Achilles lived with his consequences, the Nar'Thyss continued to make their own callous choices, unaware that the game had a new player, one who could not just edit their story, but assimilate it entirely!
