I am pleased to announce that the day has come. I didn't think it would ever come, but it has. With the introduction of the new tag system to Royal Road, I can finally put the Male Gay Romance tag on this story! I had to do a double take when I saw it, because I genuinely thought it would never happen. But it did, and so now it is updated. If you're interested, please check out the tags and let me know what you think! Are there any I'm missing?

Additionally...Guess what time it is?

I was going to wait until Monday's release for this announcement, but I couldn't wait. If you're saying it's the November writathon, then yes, you would be correct. However! It is also the 1 year Voidlight Rising anniversary! One year ago, for the 2024 November Writathon, I published the first chapters of Voidlight Rising in their original form. They were up for about 4 months before I pulled them down, reworked them to make them even better, then relaunched in June, which is where most people finally got to see it.

In celebration, and as part of the writathon, I will be releasing additional chapters during the month of November! For the whole month of November, I will be releasing chapters Monday through Friday, with an additional chapter releasing tomorrow (Nov 2) in order to ensure that we make the Nov 16th checkpoint.

Thank you all for the incredible support you've all shown during this journey. I would not be nearly as excited to keep writing Voidlight Rising if it weren't for the kind comments, theories, ratings, and reviews you all have posted. I am sincerely grateful to each and every one of you who is reading.
