Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 137: The Holy Scripture Fragment That Should Not Exist

Prophetic Saintess...

Charlotte's heart stirred slightly.

Just like the Holy Royal Court has its own Saintess, the Bloodline during its prime also had its own "Saintess," or rather... the mythic proxy.

To this day, although the overall power of the Bloodline is not what it used to be, many clans still preserve the role of the "Saintess."

Of course, many nobles from various clans have long since fallen or disappeared, and now the "Saintess" of each clan no longer necessarily signifies a proxy of a deity.

For example, Anthea of the Vadret Clan, the Pure White Witch.

She became the "Pure White Saintess" merely because her bloodline concentration is the strongest within the Vadret Clan, and she personally handled the conversation with the "Puppet Duke."

But the Nais Clan is different.

Back when subjugating the Nais Clan, Charlotte had heard of the Prophetic Saintess Eugenia. This bloodline, known by the Holy Royal Court as the Prophetic Witch, is a true mythic proxy, a Favored of the Stargazer Cosy.

At that time, when subjugating the Nais Clan, Charlotte wished to meet her, but she happened to be in slumber.

Back then, Charlotte's power was still weak, and due to various concerns, she did not continue to pursue the matter, merely informing the Great Elder Ron of the Nais Clan to notify her to come and meet once she awoke.

Thinking of this, Charlotte's consciousness spread, and soon she sensed a strange Bloodline presence outside the Royal Palace.

The presence felt peculiar to Charlotte, roughly at the level of an Earl, that is, at the Blazing Sun's level, yet in Charlotte's perception, the presence seemed like an endless black hole, constantly devouring the surrounding Law and Magic Power.

This discovery suddenly piqued Charlotte's interest.

The ability to endlessly devour the surrounding Transcendent power like a black hole is a Position owned only by a mythic level existence.

Clearly, this "Prophetic Witch" might indeed be special. At the very least, it seems she is tainted with some mythic power.

"Let her in."

Charlotte said with great interest.

Duke Ron retreated respectfully, and soon, a female Bloodline wearing the robes of the Nais Clan entered the palace.

She had an attractive appearance, with brown hair and red eyes, her expression respectful and submissive. However, the moment she stepped into the Royal Palace, the Blood Holy Scripture within Charlotte's consciousness suddenly burst into brilliant radiance.

Her silver hair instantly replaced Charlotte's blonde locks, and her blue eyes, which had returned to a normal state, also instantly turned to red-gold.

The Blood Divine Power within her began to circulate automatically, and the surrounding palace abruptly transformed into an ancient castle, austere and solemn, adorned with carvings of thorns and roses.

At this moment... Charlotte had directly unleashed her Blood Divine Power, unfolding her Blood Divine Domain!

Charlotte almost instantly stood up, with the Blood Divine Power, Holy Power, and Primordial Power operating simultaneously to suppress the restlessly surging Blood Holy Scripture within her consciousness that seemed eager to fly away.

And the direction the Blood Holy Scripture wanted to fly toward... was precisely where the Prophetic Saintess had entered the palace!

Charlotte's eyes widened, her red-gold pupils fixed on the Prophetic Saintess.

The brilliance of Divine Power flickered in her eyes, and in her vision, the entity standing before her wasn't the Bloodline perceived by her consciousness but instead... a heavy tome floating midair, emitting a faint crimson glow.

That was... the Blood Holy Scripture.

Blood Holy Scripture?

How could there still be another Blood Holy Scripture?!

Charlotte was taken aback.

But she quickly calmed down.

Divine Artifacts are unique, not to mention the Blood Holy Scripture, which is a "Supreme Divine Artifact."

The crimson Divine Power further spread, and the Eye of Illusion Breaking was cast on Charlotte's pupils, and the "Blood Holy Scripture" before her began to change, reverting to an extremely respectful Bloodline female.

No, from the start, it wasn't a "book," but an extension of some power that shares its origin with the Blood Holy Scripture in Charlotte's possession, a vision capable of causing the Holy Scripture to tremble.

And the root of this vision, the source of everything, stemmed from the heart of this Prophetic Saintess.

Or rather... from the hidden, broken page within her body.

That was a Holy Scripture Fragment.

After identifying the "culprit" behind the vision, Charlotte did not relax much.

Because within her, the Blood Holy Scripture had been completely restored while in the Coria Kingdom, no longer lacking any pages, theoretically, making it impossible for any Holy Scripture Fragments to exist.

Even if there were remaining fragments not yet collected, at the moment when the Holy Scripture completed itself, all leftover fragments would have dissolved, with all power returning to the main body.

Yet now, Charlotte saw a supposedly non-existent Holy Scripture Fragment on Eugenia, the Prophetic Saintess.

This absurd scene was tantamount to a True God who has ignited the Divine Fire and condensed the Divine Position suddenly discovering an identical Divine Fragment as their own.

Moreover, what left Charlotte feeling somewhat perplexed was, after "seeing clearly" the existence before her, a strong sense of familiarity and closeness arose, as if that fragment which should not exist rightfully belonged to her.

With intense curiosity and a certain soul-derived flutter, Charlotte attempted to guide the Blood Holy Scripture to summon the opponent.

In her consciousness, the Blood Holy Scripture radiated light, and the Holy Scripture Fragment within Eugenia also emitted the same crimson brilliance.

In the next moment, the fragment instantly flew out of Eugenia's body. As the Holy Scripture Fragment left her body, Eugenia's aura surged dramatically.

She almost immediately stood where she was, eyes closed, entering an enchanting state akin to a breakthrough, with the power of her bloodline rapidly rising as though a long-restrained volcano finally erupted.

All this time, was she being suppressed by the Holy Scripture Fragment...

Seeing this scene, Charlotte's heart stirred slightly.

However, her attention quickly shifted away from Eugenia.

After the fragment of the Holy Scripture flew out of Eugenia's body, Charlotte felt a strong "malice" surging from all directions.

It was the "world's" malice she had once felt, only this time the target was not her, but that fragment of the Holy Scripture which should not exist.

No... that malice was even stronger than the treatment Charlotte had once "enjoyed"!

Thick clouds gathered in the sky above Falling Star City, thunder roared, magic surged... at this moment, the entire world seemed to come alive, pouring out overwhelming malice, as if it wanted to tear the fragment of the Holy Scripture that appeared between heaven and earth into shreds.

Wisps of white smoke rose from the fragment, quickly turning into flames, the fragment... was burning without fire!

'This world... does not allow its existence!'

Charlotte suddenly realized.

Then, her expression became rebellious:

'You do not permit its existence, I... insist on letting it exist!'

Scarlet Divine Power spread instantly, enveloping the fragment, runes of thorns and roses continuously appeared, blocking the overwhelming malice outside.

At this moment, Charlotte directly used the power of a True God Position.

The overwhelming malice immediately changed its target, rushing towards Charlotte, but soon... it dissipated under Charlotte's Divine Power.

Without a target and no follow-up power, the clouds in the sky quickly retreated, and the surrounding magic returned to normal.

And that fragment of the Holy Scripture that should not exist also flew into Charlotte's hand.

Charlotte looked at the fragment.

Though called a fragment, it was more like a corner torn from a book.

It had the exact same material as the Blood Holy Scripture, shimmering with flickering light, sometimes illusory, sometimes solid.

It seemed to continuously switch between "existence" and "non-existence."

Meanwhile, Charlotte felt a familiar power from it:

"This is... the aura of a time-space node?"

Time-space node!

The Blood Holy Scripture possesses the ability to cross time and space, and in the past, Charlotte had also used the power of the Holy Scripture to return to the past many times.

And every time she returned to the past, the Blood Holy Scripture within her would disappear, replaced by the projection of the Holy Scripture. In technical terms, after crossing, the Holy Scripture transformed into a time-space node concealed in the void, leaving only return coordinates in her soul.

And now, she felt the same aura on this fragment.

Charlotte instantly understood:

"So this is a... Holy Scripture fragment that escaped the pursuit of time, a 'time-crossing' scripture fragment just like me."

Upon recognizing the essence of this Holy Scripture fragment, Charlotte immediately made a deeper judgment:

"It seems... it was lodged within Eugenia's body in the past, existing in a state of alternating illusion to persist."

"However... now that I've summoned it back to reality, with the Holy Scripture already complete, it will soon vanish."

"After all... it doesn't belong to this time-space, it was never meant to exist."

Charlotte muttered to herself.

As if confirming Charlotte's speculation, once it fell into her hand, the fragment became illusory again, as if it was about to disappear.

However, just as it was about to dissipate, the Blood Holy Scripture within Charlotte erupted with brilliant light.

A strong attraction came, causing Charlotte to instinctively want to stop it, but after a slight consideration, she ultimately chose to let go.

The next moment, the fragment in her hand transformed into a flow of light, merging into her body and integrating into the Blood Holy Scripture, and soon... a golden Holy Emblem composed of thorns and roses slowly emerged on the cover of the Holy Scripture.

For an instant, Charlotte felt as if the Blood Holy Scripture had become more agile.

She pondered, with some speculation in her heart.

A low, faint hum came, and the Prophetic Saintess Eugenia standing there slowly awakened.

Her aura had unknowingly stepped into the Legendary, and her opened eyes were still dazed. Obviously, as a "mortal," she did not "see" the changes on the mythical level just now.

She carefully examined her body, and her expression quickly turned from shock to joy.

She looked up at Charlotte on the throne, and excitedly knelt down, her voice filled with gratitude:

"Sin Descendant Eugenia... thanks the True Ancestor for the salvation!"

Seeing this familiar scene, Charlotte was slightly taken aback.

Solemn and majestic castle.

Respectfully bowing, the Legendary female Bloodline in a Nais robe.

And sitting high on the throne... a silver-haired, red-eyed girl.

This scene, she had seen not long ago.

This is the "prophecy" Charlotte saw in the "Holy Land Letters" in Coria.
