The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 326: Ticky Disciple of the Demon King (Part 2)

The crowd gathered more densely around him.

Initially, everyone approached it with a mindset just to watch the spectacle, and didn't take what he said seriously. But as they listened to Ticky's vivid and animated descriptions, they found themselves believing him.

After all, those who didn't believe him would have left after watching the commotion. Those who remained were naturally suited to be his followers.

Some, including Langton, gradually looked more eager, their eyes starting to shine, and their faces showing a look of desire.

"So how did you come to know Prince Colin?" someone in the crowd couldn't help but ask.

Ticky paused for a moment, selling a bit of intrigue, and then said with a slightly mysterious tone, "That's the wonder of destiny. I learned from the Lizardmen that I'm not the only human on the Gana Continent. There is a place called Withered Wood Port on the Northern Coast, where a Human Prince resides, and his family has lived there for five hundred years... The Northern Coast is so vast that although we live on the same coastline, we never met."

"Once again, I sold all my belongings, took the gold the Lizardmen gave me, and braved the mountains towards that lord. He truly is a good person, benevolent, kind, generous, and virtuous... Moreover, he values tradition and honor and is devoted to Saint Sis. When he found out I was the same, he immediately entrusted me with responsibilities, and I did not disappoint him, managing the land he granted me with great success."

"I thought I would live out my life peacefully and prosperously like this, but I didn't expect Saint Sis to favor me and my friends in Withered Wood Port once again. A sudden storm destroyed the Barrier that isolated Gana Continent, and the Imperial fleet appeared in our vision; with glory and fortune, we were able to return to our homeland... Thank you, General Hamoldon, and thank you, Prince Colin, and the almighty His Majesty the Emperor. Without them, there wouldn't be the Ticky Cosia today."

Upon hearing this, the crowd couldn't help but applaud and cheer, and the atmosphere reached a new high. Even standing before him, Langton Segre's gaze grew more intense, almost unable to conceal his inner excitement and desire.

With so many people gathering in one place, it soon drew the attention of the Imperial Guard, but they didn't disperse the crowd—instead, they curiously joined in on the excitement.

Ticky tipped his hat in thanks as he spoke, feeling extremely proud in his heart… Although it was full of difficulties initially, he eventually completed the task assigned by Lord Demon King.

Soon, the reporters lingering near the port also began to focus on him, with more people squeezing into the crowd.

They held feather pens and handwritten notes, their eyes shining, hoping to learn more details about the Gana Continent.

"Sir! I'm a reporter from the Holy City Daily; would you be interested in granting us an interview?"

"I'm an editor from Bright Weekly... Your story should be heard by more people. If you have any publishing needs, we can assist you!"

"Sir, please tell me more about your territory!"

Ticky smiled, ready to respond to their interviews, while the young man named Langton had already been tossed aside.

Just then, a rude and familiar voice suddenly pierced through the noise, squeezing to the front of the crowd.

"Ticky Cosia? Ha! You debt-dodging rascal dared to come back?"

The voice was like a cold bucket of water, dousing the crowd's fervor.

All they saw was a slightly portly man pushing his way through the crowd, standing in front of Ticky with a sullen demeanor, continuing with malice.

"Cosia, long time no see... I wonder if you still recognize me." That face, full of fat, forced out a phony smile, exposing a row of yellowed teeth, like a shark smelling blood.

Upon hearing that the boy from the Cosia family had returned and taken over the family's assets, his first reaction was fear; the second was greed and malice. He hurried to the port, intending to exact a hefty sum from this guy.

The crowd became silent, their gazes resting on Ticky, including the young man named Langton, whose eyes now carried a hint of doubt.

Not repaying debts?

This is a very serious accusation... Could the respectable Baron Cosia actually be a deadbeat?

In the past, Ticky would have probably excitedly grabbed the person's collar and argued with him in the harshest tone.

But now—

After the Demon King's ordeal, he had matured far beyond his former self; he didn't even get angry. He merely gave that face a calm glance, then raised one corner of his mouth in a playful smile, jokingly saying:

"Isn't this Horn? How could I forget you? But speaking of which, it's been ten years, and you haven't changed a bit, so much so that I almost didn't recognize you."

Horn's smile instantly froze, a hint of malice in his eyes: "Cut the crap, Cosia! You still owe me 100 Gold Coins from back then. Isn't it time you paid up?"

The quiet crowd erupted into whisperings, exchanging doubtful looks with each other. Some shook their heads and walked away in disappointment.

However, compared to those disappointedly leaving, even more bystanders joined in, including the dockworkers moving cargo boxes in the warehouse area.
