Infinite wealth In A New World

Chapter 244: The Apocalypse Arrives

"Army of dragons? Did the Dragon race submit to you?" Josephine asked, her earlier maternal calm now replaced by sharp focus. The scale of the declaration defied belief.

"Do you think that big guy is from the Dragon Nation?" Sunny asked, gesturing to Ladon, whose colossal form was a terrifying monument in the sky. He shook his head with a broad, confident smirk.

"Nope. He is under my command, along with ten thousand more dragons of his kin. They aren't as huge as him, but each one has the strength of a God Rank warrior."

The group was stunned into silence. One God Rank warrior was a force; ten thousand was an unstoppable apocalypse.

"Wow... With this force, we are unbeatable," Nioh said, awe in his voice.

"All God Rank?" Eve was utterly staggered. She, a Grand Master, was being asked to lead dragons a hundred times her power.

"Don't worry," Sunny reassured her, sensing her internal conflict. "You don't actually have to train them to fight, just show them around. The North side of the planet will be theirs—the dragons' new home."

"Sorry for asking, but where are these dragons?" Jinx asked, skeptical. She was a half-dragon herself, yet showed no reverence for the subject.

Sunny nodded at her. "They will be here when I say so." He turned to Ellen, his expression turning serious.

"Protect your mother, Cupcake. There is somewhere I have to be." He began to ascend into the air.

"But we want to come with you!" Josephine yelled, moving forward.

"Sorry, Love," Sunny replied, his gaze sweeping over his assembled family and commanders. "The outcome of this battle is not yet decided. I am stronger, but I am not sure if I can protect you while fighting the Great Mother. All of you!"

He issued his final, absolute command: "Guard Eldoria! None of you will partake in this war."

With a last, loving look at his family, he flew out of the shield and landed on Ladon's head.

'Thanks to the Abyss Dragon artifact, the Darkness World is now active, but I still can't fully wield it. I must get stronger.'

Ladon moved a claw into the shimmering space, and then his entire colossal body disappeared into the newly created gateway, vanishing from Eldoria.

"Come on! We aren't staying here! Are we?" Jinx asked, her feet already twitching.

"But the King has spoken!" Nicolas muttered, his loyalty clashing with his warrior's pride.

"So?" Jinx challenged, her voice ringing with unexpected conviction.

"We are his commanders! We can't stand here and do nothing while our King fights for our future and lives! If we do, what's our usefulness?"

"I didn't know you were this caring," Star whispered, surprised by Jinx's serious loyalty.

"Hey, I trust him," Jinx admitted with a shrug. "But I also don't want to miss the fun! If you aren't going, I will go alone."

"Sister is right, I also want to help Dad," Ellen supported, stepping forward with determination.

"That's my sister! Who else?" Jinx smiled, turning to Josephine.

Josephine was silent for a few seconds, considering the impossible order and her duty. She made her decision. She gestured sharply to Alexandra in the distance.

Alexandra nodded and rushed over.

"Where are your masks?" Josephine asked.

"Umm..." Alexandra, confused, quickly produced her team's masks and handed them to the Queen.

"What's your plan?" Star asked, realization dawning in her eyes.

"I agree with Jinx," Josephine stated, her posture hardening into that of a war leader.

"We won't sit here and do nothing." She slid one of the neutral, concealing masks over her face.

"But we will attack with our masks on! That way, no one—not even the Great Mother—will know who we are and our relationship with the King."

Ellen and the group were momentarily confused, their expressions stunned. Seeing their blank stares, Josephine elaborated:

"If we attack without masks, someone will recognize us. The moment the Great Mother knows who we are to the King, she will focus her force on us, because capturing us will force him to surrender. But if we are all in masks..."

"...She will never know, and we won't be targeted," Blood Eye completed, nodding slowly. "A brilliant stroke of protection and strategy."

"Impressive! I wouldn't have thought of that," Nioh admitted.

"Now... we need more of these masks, for each of our soldiers, including the Mercenaries." Josephine turned to Nicolas.

"Alert the Dwarves, Phoenixes, and Three-eyed Nations. Tell them we are moving to engage the Wendigos. Let's go to war." Josephine fixed her masked gaze on her commanders.

"Yes!!" Every commander and soldier in the courtyard saluted with renewed purpose.

At that moment, thousands of Eldoria's warships and battleships rose into the air and shot out of the planet, following their Queen's lead.

[Ogres' Nation: Present]

Shadow and Xanor recoiled simultaneously, their faces pale. Not only them, but all the soldiers in their respective ships and the thousands of Wendigos were horrified, feeling an impossible surge of power. The very air cracked under the pressure of thousands of God Rank auras pouring from the space tear.

"....?!!"

They watched in silent, petrified dread as Ladon's massive black body emerged from the crack, and behind him, a continuous, unending stream of dragons flew out. Within seconds, the entire sky was choked with the creatures.

"Are those... Dragons?" Sunil stammered from his command ship, his mild disbelief replaced by genuine terror.

"No... Something isn't right with these dragons," Elvis, the Dragon Commander, breathed out, his own draconic blood vibrating with alarm.

"These dragons are by far more powerful than our Dragon Nation. Their blood is purer."

"In short, they're your superior," Sunil stated, turning to face him.

"You can put it that way," Elvis nodded grimly. The Abyss Dragon Tribe was an elite force that dwarfed their own nation's power.

Shadow moved backward in sheer, debilitating horror, staring up at the lone, indifferent figure standing on Ladon's head. Her voice was a choked, fearful whisper as she finally named her greatest nightmare:

"God... God Wolf?!"
