The bystanders began to discuss in a flurry.
Kato Takashi was quite pleased with the scene; at least in terms of momentum, he was not losing to others. Moreover, with so many people present, he believed that with the current power of the Triad, there was absolutely no issue in dealing with the Jvyi Gang.
"Harano, inform our people to storm the fishery immediately," Kato Takashi ordered with a grim expression.
"Yes, sir!" The aide behind him quickly began to rally the troops.
The disciples of the Triad, after getting off the vehicles, gathered in twos and threes to chat and smoke. The cold weather made them huddle together, creating a lively and excited atmosphere. It was a rare lively gathering, and they seized the opportunity to chat.
At this moment, the aide Harano was rallying the group. Everyone gathered around him.
Although the Triad had many members, after the death of Shino's group, the backbone of their crew was completely eradicated, and most of the captains were wiped out, leading to a complete loss of the middle contact layer in the team. Helplessly, Harano could only act as the contact person for these people.
"Brothers, for the brothers who died for you, for the Triad, for our future and interests. Follow me and charge in," Harano said, picking up a knife.
"Charge in!" The crowd shouted in chorus.
Then, a large number of people and horses surged forward rapidly, rushing towards the fishery with Harano.
Bang...
The slightly ajar gate was kicked open by someone at the front. The two heavy iron doors were soon opened, and several hundred people rushed in like a swarm. Kato Takashi sat in his car, watching the scene through the clear glass of the Crown vehicle, a satisfied smile playing on his lips.
Once inside, this crowd immediately encountered the attack of Zhou Kai and his more than fifty men.
"Charge with me!" Zhou Kai shouted, waving his arm.
"Charge!" More than fifty people rushed forward rapidly.
The two sides immediately engaged in a fervent, shocking, and intense battle.
Lu Dapao and Huang Bo took people to flank from the opponent's left and right wings, respectively. The battle lines of both sides were suddenly extended, fragmenting the fight from one big melee into several smaller skirmishes with groups of a dozen or twenty entangled in fierce combat.
Meanwhile, Liu Cheng quickly led his people to the opponent's rear, swiftly closing the gate.
With the gate shut, Kato Takashi outside grew anxious as he could not see what was happening inside. He hurriedly called Harano. Harano, having been stabbed in the back and bleeding profusely, picked up the phone and said, "Boss, we're in the midst of a brutal battle."
"Be careful, they've shut the gate. You must hold the gate and prevent them from enveloping you from behind," Kato Takashi urgently reminded.
"Yes!" Upon hearing this, Harano turned his head to look at the gate not far behind him. He immediately saw that a group of dozens of people had circled around, closing the gate behind them. Swiftly, that troop was closing in, attempting to surround them from the back.
By this point, the two hundred plus members of the Triad were completely trapped by the opposition, leading to a brutal battle.
Zhou Kai and his team faced the greatest pressure, as their frontline attacking force of fifty was holding back the over three hundred enemies. Fortunately, Lu Dapao and Huang Bo quickly joined the fight; otherwise, Zhou Kai's fifty men might not have sufficed to make a dent. With Liu Cheng's team flanking from the rear, the Jvyi Gang completely disrupted the opponent's rhythm and pace.
By this time, the Triad members were cornered from all sides, struggling with every step.
"Kill them all," Zhou Kai shouted, waving his arm. At this point, Zhou Kai was already covered in blood, brimming with ardor. Two of his fifty brothers had died on the spot, over ten were severely injured, and another dozen lightly wounded. Yet, some still fought fiercely. Death did not frighten or terrify them. Instead, it filled them with fighting spirit.
Not for anything else, but because a part of this fishery belonged to them too. They knew deeply that they were not fighting for others, but for themselves, fighting to protect their own interests.
Lin Chuan stood to the side, having noticed that Kato Takashi was not in the crowd, but outside in a black Crown car. A sly smile spread across his lips as he said, "Monk!"
"Boss," Monk hurriedly stepped forward.
"Take a few people outside to mop up," Lin Chuan smiled slyly, "Kato Takashi, that old fox, is still outside and hasn't come in. Take some people and capture him for me; capture the leader first, and these men won't pose any threat."
"Yes!" Monk was secretly delighted upon hearing this.
Thereafter, Monk handpicked a few exceptionally skilled brothers, and instead of using the main gate, they quickly scaled the wall and descended directly from there.
With sharp eyes, Kato Takashi immediately noticed the few individuals scaling down the wall. He immediately said, "Drive, go now."
The driver, taken aback, quickly nodded, "Yes!"
Shortly after, the car sped out from behind, but there were so many cars on the scene that the driver got flustered.
"Stop!" At this moment, the Monk wielded his Guan Yu sword and swiftly charged towards Kato Takashi's car.
The driver panicked even more when he saw someone chasing after them.
Bam...
The car barreled through the chaos, and he grit his teeth in anger, "These bastards, how did they park the cars? They've blocked the road."
Helpless, he nudged a car out of the way with the front of his car, finally breaking free from the dense crowd of vehicles.
Bang...
The Monk rushed up, ruthlessly swinging his Guan Yu sword at the windshield. It shattered into countless pieces, turning into beads. The large section of windshield fell off instantly.
"Ah!!!" The driver was so frightened he almost crashed into the nearby wall.
Vroom vroom...
Half scared to death, the driver floored the gas pedal.
The Monk abandoned the Guan Yu sword, propelling himself onto the car's hood, gripping the B-pillar of the Crown car with one hand. The driver, seeing this, frantically turned the wheel to the left. The Monk was instantly flung to the right by the car's centrifugal force, his body about to fall off the hood. He quickly grabbed the roof, forcing his body to counter the force, and he stood upright like a flag.
The driver desperately swerved the car, trying to throw the Monk off, but it wasn't so simple anymore. The Monk raised his elbow, smashing it against the sunroof. After three blows, the glass roof shattered. Ignoring the remaining shards, he poked his head in. Though the glass cut his skin, what mattered more than catching Kato Takashi?
"Damn it!" Kato Takashi hurriedly grabbed a knife from beside him and viciously stabbed at the Monk.
The Monk quickly dodged Kato Takashi's attack.
Screech...
Suddenly, the driver made a sharp ninety-degree turn. The Monk's head slammed into the passenger-side glass. However, this didn't cause much harm, and instead, the Monk fell through the sunroof into the car.
"Die!" Kato Takashi frantically thrust the knife at the Monk.
The Monk hastily dodged to the side. This time, he was clearly too slow. The knife stabbed into his shoulder blade.
"Haha..." Kato Takashi laughed maniacally, trying to drive the knife even deeper.
The Monk quickly grabbed his arm, gritting his teeth, "Son of a bitch, killing me won't be that easy."
With that, the Monk twisted both hands, twisting the knife in Kato Takashi's hand too. The pain was unbearable, but the Monk didn't care, instead nearly breaking Kato Takashi's arm.
"Ah!!" Kato Takashi screamed in agony.
The Monk clutched his arm with one hand while pulling the knife out of his shoulder with the other, causing blood to flow out, looking terrifying. The Monk, unfazed, threatened, "Drive us back there, now."
The driver was dumbfounded; in just a moment, not only had they caught up, but they'd also entered the closed cabin and captured Kato Takashi. It seemed surreal, yet it was happening right before his eyes. The driver awkwardly looked at Kato Takashi.
"Bastard, turn around when you're told to," Kato Takashi shouted anxiously.
The Monk had crawled from the front to the back. Now, he looked terrible; his clothes were shredded from crawling through the broken sunroof, with down from his jacket flying everywhere, filling the car. Thankfully, the down jacket had protected him, leaving only some cuts on his arms and legs from the glass.
The Monk sneered, "Kato Takashi, you bastard, run then! If you run, I'll kill you!"
Kato Takashi took a deep breath, gritting his teeth in silence.
The driver had no choice but to obediently steer them back to the fishery.
After half an hour of fighting, the battle at the fishery was nearing a conclusion. Both sides had similar numbers, though Triad members were superior fighters, but the Jvyi Gang brothers had rested and used encircling tactics, putting the Triad at a disadvantage. Out of over two hundred Triad members, more than twenty had died on site. Dozens of seriously injured lay on the ground, unable to move and fight, with most of the rest sustaining some injuries, having been stabbed.
Though the Triad suffered heavily, the Jvyi Gang didn't fare well either. Few had died because they had been forewarned by Lin Chuan to wear thick clothing, which acted like bulletproof vests against lethal attacks. Triad disciples, young as they were, favored flashy, fashionable attire, wearing thin jackets even in winter, which couldn't withstand several stabbings.
