The School Beauty's Super Rogue

Chapter 637: Crisis Moment

Buzzing!

Blood gushed out like a fountain from the wound on the pilot's neck. As it spurted out, his body went limp, and his finger remained on the trigger.

Bang!

A gunshot echoed, and the bullet hit somewhere on the aircraft, igniting a brief spark before fading away.

"Huff huff!"

Qin Hao lay on the ground, his chest heaving rapidly, breathing intensely and urgently.

"Damn it, why bother? I wasn't planning to kill you so soon."

Qin Hao thought helplessly. If only the pilot hadn't acted foolishly, he wouldn't have killed him immediately.

Even if he had to kill, it should have been after landing.

Speaking of landing, Qin Hao felt something was off. Was he still on the aircraft?

The pilot was dead, so who was going to fly the plane?

"Damn it!"

Almost the moment Qin Hao realized this, a sense of imbalance hit him, and a tremendous force pushed him toward the door.

Thud!

Qin Hao grabbed onto the door just barely steadying himself, but it was of no use because the aircraft was plummeting rapidly!

"Flying object, I #%$&..."

Qin Hao's face turned pale with fright, and he clung to the edge of the door, rushing to the seat quickly.

He shoved the pilot's corpse aside, preparing to fly the aircraft himself.

Although Qin Hao didn't have a pilot's license, having executed many missions, he had kept up with flying skills and was quite proficient at it.

Staring at the control panel, just as he was about to take control, his body suddenly froze, his face looking as if he had food poisoning.

A bullet hole, inconveniently, was on the control panel.

Crucially, the bullet hole was unluckily positioned at the central console of the panel.

This tiny hole caused the entire control panel to lose its original brightness.

"Damn, no way!"

Panic struck Qin Hao as he instinctively frantically pressed the control panel. But no matter how he operated it, the expected lights didn't appear.

The control panel was malfunctioning!

"Oh heavens, are you messing with me?!"

The sense of imbalance intensified, the scenery outside the window spun, and the helicopter was nosediving at a despairing speed.

Everything indicated that death was approaching.

In the face of all this, Qin Hao usually maintained a positive attitude, but now, he felt powerless, so powerless he wanted to curse: I can fly a plane, true, but damn it, I'm not an aircraft mechanic!

Without any hesitation, he gritted his teeth and pounded the control panel, swiftly dashing to the door.

"Forget it, the aircraft can't be controlled, so this is the only way..."

A skyscraper loomed larger before them, the breath of death drawing ever nearer.

Qin Hao's breathing quickened, his face turning deathly pale.

The real enemy wasn't any living person but the helicopter weaving through the sky...

In such a moment, drawing power from his bloodline was not a solution.

Qin Hao deeply understood this, so while preparing, he couldn't help but pray internally: "Oh heavens, hurry and protect me!"

A moment later, the helicopter grazed a skyscraper, the rotor disintegrating mid-air, and the remaining half of the cabin plummeted toward the ground.

Inside the cabin, Qin Hao experienced a dizzying whirl, his body shaken so violently he almost lost consciousness.

The whistling wind gradually lessened, and Qin Hao felt the looming presence of death drawing closer.

In a rush, he glanced outside the cabin and noticed the ground seemed within reach.

"Time's up!"

The thought arose the instant it did, Qin Hao leaped out, moving far from the cabin's crash zone.

Vertical Cloud Ladder!

Though the ground was near, the impact of the fall wasn't to be underestimated. While Qin Hao had little knowledge of physics, he knew that simply jumping out wouldn't evade danger.

For safety, he kicked wildly as planned, channeling all his inner strength to his feet.

Even with such effort, he could only pause in mid-air for half a second.

Then, his body dive-bombed downward, rolling for over a dozen meters before finally stopping upon landing.

Pain coursed throughout his body, making Qin Hao feel completely numb, his strength and powerful qi utterly spent.

No sooner did he begin to lament than a loud explosion erupted from not far behind, nearly bursting his eardrums.

Searing heatwaves followed, causing Qin Hao's already numbed body to endure another round of excruciating pain.

When the gusts settled and the heat slowly faded, the world returned to silence.

"Huff..."

Qin Hao could no longer gasp for air, his exhaustion and agony leaving him powerless, even struggling to open his eyes.

Now, his shoulder had been injured against the wall; his chest, arms, thighs were abrasively wounded, and his back was scorched by the heatwave, practically battered and bruised.

Not to mention, the side effects of using the power of bloodline took over, his entire body aching intensely, with severe internal muscle strains, rendering him paralyzed.

At this moment, even a primary school student could easily deal with him.

Pain and fatigue came uninvited, and Qin Hao wanted nothing more than to pass out. However, his strong will to survive prevented him from doing so.

"I'm completely powerless now, lying here by the road is too obvious a target. It'd be fine if a passerby found me, but if my enemies see me..."

At that thought, Qin Hao felt a thread of worry. With the explosions, machine guns, and aircraft crash, the entire Shanghai might go mad searching for him.

Not only were the cops still searching for him, but those hidden enemies were probably attracted as well.

Now, who discovered him first became crucial.

"Please, don't let it be my enemies!"

Qin Hao prayed silently, suddenly hearing the sound of sirens coming from a nearby street.

Thank goodness!

He was overjoyed, though a grin pulled painfully at his wound.

However, in the next moment, the sound of footsteps approached, followed by a cold voice.

"Wow wow wow, to find an old acquaintance here, what kind of dumb luck did I, Ghost Rope, stumble upon!"

The voice was full of delight, but the tone was infuriatingly provocative.

The dragging sound of a long rope across the ground followed, and when everything quieted, Qin Hao saw a pair of shoes appear before him.

Due to his weakness, he couldn't lift his head to see the person's face.

However, from the voice and the familiar color of the shoes, he realized that the person in front of him was indeed one of his enemies, Ghost Rope!

"Damn it, are you going to kill me now, heavens!?"

Qin Hao's heart was filled with frustration, narrowly escaping explosions, gunfire, and the pursuit of Gun Demon, surviving a plane crash, showcasing stunts befitting a Hollywood action movie.

And now, this is the outcome?

If he died from this, even in Hell, he would feel too humiliated to tell King Yama his story!

"Hehehe, what does Night Emperor's expression mean? Is it painful? Don't worry, for old times' sake, I'll make sure you suffer less."

Ghost Rope's voice was chillingly sinister. After speaking, he swung the long rope in his hand a few times in the air before fiercely whipping it toward Qin Hao's neck.
