Picking Up Girls With Game Exploits! (Yuri)

Chapter 145: Brand New Destiny [Part 6] - Nexus Fight

Pearl barely had any footing, both of his hands were cupping the palm-sized crystal, with his elbows placed on the structure to hold himself up without spending any mana trying to float via any other means.

A mage from the Lion's Parade flew up with fire on his shoes to try and intercept Pearl's concentration process, but he was intercepted by Mei, who casted a spell that must've cost her a great bunch of focus and mana as she got a nosebleed with her eyes almost popping out of her sockets.

From Mei's command, ice spewed from the rocky mountains and rose up at least 10 feet, it was in the shape of an arm, with each knuckles protruding sharp icycle tips the opposite direction of the finger as like a backward-slashing guard protect, those tips were sharp enough to pierce, sharper than the fingers themselves which were tip-carved.

The giant ice hand seems to mimic her motion, grabbing upon the fiery boots of that mage and slam him face-first into the rock again without remorse.

I changed my focus to assessing the team loadout and saw a major flaw in the New Destiny's composition… Make sense, since it was unplanned.

On the Lion's Parade side, there was a LyraBell who's a Cleric, and DreamDream, a support whom I saw casting a heal spell; weaker than that of a dedicated-healer casting, but she did cast one.

Which meant, they have two healers, meanwhile, on the New Destiny side, there was only Hailie who was trembling out of her boots from the stress she was undergoing from being the sole healer.

Granted, she got higher-end gears, and she was a Priest, upgrade of Cleric, but solo healing was basically self-raping at any stages of the game, ESPECIALLY in PvP where people know who to prioritize punching.

Naturally, this game became a struggle between Pearl and Hailie… If either of them failed at their job, Lion's Parade would win.

Probably with the concept of "a best defense is a good offense" in her nightstand, Olga dragged her claymore and was chasing DreamDream down.

DreamDream herself… Uh, real name's Sarah, it was awkward to see her bleeding in the heat of battle, because I just licked cum out of her anus barely 24 hours ago… Also, her distance cousin, aka Jack was here so, it made me even more awkward.

Exactly the reason why when I see people having a perfectly healthy and platonic relationship after sex was such a foreign concept to me… Now I don't want to fight her or even Jack for that matter.

Would that mean I have to side with the Lion's Parade and start fighting New Destiny? God, that might be the case because I haven't have intercourse with anyone on this side… Almost two weeks worth of contribution for nothing, god damn assholes.

Anyways, my obviously autism aside, I tried to look at it logically… The Lion's Parade definitely wouldn't let me join their ranks in the middle of the fight, especially when Rina—one of their enemies—just called out for my name.

Sarah noticed the other mage on her team got grabbed by Mei's ice fist, so, mid-run, she spun her body around and started running backwards, all so she could have line of sight of the mage and casted a shield on him; keeping his teeth intact after Mei slammed him down.

But she did that at risk, because now, with her decreased speed, Olga easily caught up with her, and using the momentum; the giant Russian woman with red hair took a very loud step up then spin her entire body following the motion of raising her claymore diagonally to cut Sarah in half from hips to shoulder.

But of course, the Lion's Parade weren't that dumb, because one of their tanks; SolsticeRun (I just remember), slammed his shield like an American football player straight into Olga's left side, opposite of her wielding arm, which threw off her grip and Sarah barely got a cut at her pelvis.

"YOU BASTARD!"

Olga yelled, turning to attack the guy, only then she realized something horrible when she could not move an inch of any muscle starting from two shoulders down to the fingertips.

"You're a Marauder Paladin." She chuckled, "Now I couldn't attack for another 5 seconds… You ugly bastards came prepared!"

SolsticeRun tightened his leather grip with a smirk while signaling Sarah to create some distance.

"That's right-"

Before he could finish his sentence, an arrow pierced straight into his temple, going through the brain and out the other end. He didn't die, of course, but it was a critical hit, and Lyra must've noticed when she turned her attention from healing Jack to start focusing on him.

But then, she noticed that there was a purple-brownish tint on SolsticeRun skin, she gasped, almost everyone looked over, and the Lion's Parade members widened their eyes as they noticed the tint.

"He can't heal!" Rina, the owner of that enchanted arrow screamed, "CJS, what are you waiting for? Take him down!"

I realized that I was still watching.

So, I took a moment to assess my situation, looking at the map for usernames, too… Because all this shits were too confusing, especially when half of these people were my friends and or associates.

Lion's Parade:

J97 (Jack)

LyraBell

DreamDream (Sarah)

SolsticeRun

Unnamed Mage

Unnamed Tank

Unnamed Swordsman

Unnamed Swordsman

Unnamed Archer

New Destiny:

Marc

Pearl

Mei

Hailie

Rina

Olga

Unnamed Tank

Unnamed Tank

Oh shit, so I miscounted originally, it wasn't ten versus ten, more like 9vs8

With that said, SolsticeRun widened his eyes and raised his shield when he noticed me, and I had to make the hard choice as I dashed towards him.

It was only five seconds of debuff, he could've just kite and run away, but he didn't… And I'm sorry about that.

Now, it was an 8v9 instead of 9vs8.

That was confusing… Ahem.

And New Destiny's practically won because I can 1v8 if it came to be.

The two unnamed swordsmen and one archer were on the hot pursuit of Hailie, the only healer of New Destiny… Whilst the two unnamed tanks of New Destiny were peeling her like their credit score depended on it.

Mei was too very much occupied keeping Pearl safe from the occasional ranged damage from the mage/aforementioned archer trying cheeky shots, Rina was occupied making sure her tanks weren't getting overwhelmed at the sideline, so technically she was watching over Hailie's.

Jack and Marc were… Useless, stalemating each other, wasting support and healer resources, it'll be a much better fight if Marc had just started chasing down LyraBell and Jack chased down Mei.

Then, as I gloomed over where SolsticeRun had died and left loots, I heard a female voice yelling.

"I… Is that Cory?!"

Sarah noticed me, great fucking golly god damn, and she just yelled my real name out loud. I knew I should've asked for more compensation from Ann…

"Her name's Cory?" Jack looked over at me.

Alright, it's okay of the bag I guess.

"Hi…" I waved awkwardly, picking up a few dropped health potion from SolsticeRun's loot that I gulped down.

"Everyone, BACK OFF! Back off! We can't fight in this condition! we're done here!!"
