"He runs surprisingly quickly for such a fat man," Alex observed with raised eyebrows.
"I have not even actually called the police yet."
What Alex had said just moments ago was completely intended to scare and intimidate Rahul into fleeing. He had no intention of calling the police in the first place, as he knew how much it would affect the life of the girl. The scandal and publicity would destroy her reputation regardless of her innocence.
But what he did not expect was that the fat man would be frightened so easily by his mere words.
After hearing just a few threatening sentences the criminal had immediately run away like a frightened animal.
Alex shook his head and didn't dwell on it much and turned to the girl.
While shaking the unconscious woman's shoulders he said, "Wake up, girl!"
"Get up quickly or you will be in serious trouble when that person comes back with his minions."
Alex repeatedly patted this woman's shoulders while trying to make her regain consciousness and wake up.
He tried different approaches—gentle shaking, louder calls, even lightly tapping her cheeks—but nothing seemed to work.
But somehow this woman had absolutely no signs of waking up at all.
She was sleeping so deeply and soundly that it looked like she could not be woken up even if heavy thunder crashed overhead on her. Her breathing was steady but concerningly deep.
After trying for a while more, seeing that she was not waking up, he gave up.
"If you cannot handle alcohol consumption then you should not drink so much in the first place," Alex complained with exasperation.
Alex could not help but voice his frustration aloud at the predicament.
The disgusting man from just moments ago had deliberately gotten this woman drunk.
Looking at his behavior and expensive clothing that predator must be some wealthy playboy heir.
Otherwise he would never dare to attempt such criminal actions so brazenly. Only someone with money and power would act with such arrogant confidence.
"Well I should be a good person once more and see this through to the end," Alex muttered.
"It is my bad luck and your good luck to encounter you tonight."
Alex understood that it was not safe or suitable to remain here for long.
He lifted the unconscious woman and carried her in his arms.
This woman possessed a full and voluptuous figure with curves in all the right places.
Although she appeared quite healthy she was surprisingly light to carry.
She weighed at most fifty kilograms in his opinion. Despite her height, she felt almost fragile in his arms.
Alex lifted her easily and began running toward the street exit.
He moved quickly and covered enough distance to get away from the initial position in a short time. His Martial arts training had kept him fit enough to carry her without much difficulty.

Soon enough, it required less than five minutes for events to develop where Alex stood a while ago.
The wealthy playboy Rahul returned to the alley location accompanied by a group of professional looking bodyguards.
He had originally sent these bodyguards to guard the alley entrances and block all the exits.
Their presence was meant to prevent other people from accidentally breaking into this private area where he conducted his criminal activities. They were well-paid to ensure his privacy and ask no questions.
But who could have possibly anticipated that Alex would break into this specific alley where absolutely no one should ever pass by under normal circumstances!
The probability of such an interruption was virtually zero. Rahul had checked this location dozens of times.
After hearing Alex threatening to call the police just moments ago Rahul had immediately wanted to run away and escape.
However halfway through his panicked flight he suddenly realized something was wrong. He had not heard any policeman's voice on the phone. There had been no official greeting from the emergency line.
He at once knew that he was tricked!
This crucial fact meant that the security guard had been bluffing and intimidating him with empty threats! The realization hit him like a bucket of cold water.
After fully realizing what had actually happened he immediately rushed back to the scene with his entire group of bodyguards following him!
But when they arrived at the original location where was anyone?
The security guard had completely disappeared.
Meera was missing as well!
"Damn it all to hell!" Rahul roared.
"My prize was intercepted and stolen!"
"Do not let me encounter that security guard again!"
Rahul was so angry that he nearly vomited from pure rage.
He cursed loudly and violently throughout the entire alley while his voice echoed off the walls. His face had turned an alarming shade of red.
He felt so depressed and cheated!
He had painstakingly constructed this elaborate trap over many months.
He had never expected that some random security guard would take advantage of the situation and steal his intended victim! Months of planning had been ruined in mere minutes.
Meanwhile on the other side of the city Alex carried Meera to receive medical attention.
While Alex took her to get the treatment, all the doctors and nurses kept looking at him suspiciously. Their expressions clearly questioned what kind of situation had brought an unconscious woman to their facility in the middle of the night.
Alex didn't know if he saw it wrong, but he seemed to see a nurse calling someone on the phone. Her furtive glances in his direction made him increasingly uncomfortable.
Thinking that it might have been a police that the nurse called he did not want to be entangled with this place anymore. He got her to get an intravenous drip treatment for the drugs in her system and left the place hurriedly with her. The IV would help flush whatever substances were affecting her.
Then he randomly selected an address and instructed the taxi driver to begin driving. He needed time to think about what to do next.
