Of course, not only were the Treant soldiers brave, the Dwarf Elf soldiers as auxiliary forces also showed extraordinary courage. They skillfully commanded the Alchemy Puppets right under the nose of the Giant Dragons, ensuring the battlefield was not disturbed by the Dragon Mirage. If it was covered by the Dragon Mirage, then the opponents would include more than just these Giant Dragons.
In sum, it was because of the Wood Fairies guarding the entrance, the Treants at the crossroads, and the auxiliary Dwarf Elves, that Leo Ray and his group could advance deep into the nest without any apprehension.
In an increasingly dark nest passage, after the most elite Dwarf Elf warriors led by Nathan Howard dispersed the mist, Leo Ray and his group raced forward like the wind, while behind them, the Battle was exceptionally fierce.
At this moment, following beside Leo Ray, except for some Dwarf Elf elites like Broy, Treant elites like Shuert, and three Elders of the Wood Fairies, there was only a crowd of main force experts of the Human Clan and main force Subordinates, including Louise.
And of course, the five Giant Dragons including Serene, who had returned to their human forms.
As for the accompanying Treant Legion soldiers, the last part held steadfast at a previous crossroads, resisting the Giant Dragons rushing from other branch nests.
While speeding along, listening to the increasingly intense sounds of Battle from behind, the astonishment flickering in Serene's starry eyes grew more intense.
Having a rich understanding of the Dragon Nest, she clearly understood how many checkpoints and Magic Traps involving Dragon Mirage and Golem Puppets were on this route.
Yet, with the vast number of Tier 6 Detection Scrolls provided by Leo Ray and the escort of the Dwarf Elves, the group treaded as if on flat ground, entirely unrestricted.
What shocked Serene even more was that, despite coming from different factions, the group was well-coordinated under Leo Ray's command, without a trace of defense or estrangement between them. This was evidently different from the impression she had of the Outer Region races.
"Could it be because they all have the same enemy that they're united like this? No, if that were true, they should have united centuries ago instead of being defeated individually."
Full of doubts, Serene's starry eyes shifted, once again falling thoughtfully on Leo Ray's towering silhouette.
Hence, there remained only one possibility: this Emperor of the Human Race was the one who closely connected those factions.
"Not only did he make Louise bow her head, but even these forces, which had never allied Since the Blank Era, were gathered around him. How on earth did he accomplish such a feat?"
Serene gazed at Leo Ray's back, her starry eyes filled with even more bewilderment.
"A word of warning to you, do not entertain any improper thoughts about that lord, or I will personally tear your head off."
As Serene absentmindedly gazed at Leo Ray, a cold and brisk voice suddenly reached her ears.
Serene looked in the direction of the voice and found Louise had already appeared not far from her.
"Six hundred years and more we've not met, and this is the first thing you say to me?"
Serene stared intently at Louise's fair and delicate face, frowning, "Although we stood on opposing sides since that night, it never reached the point of a life-and-death struggle, did it?"
"Indeed, but it's different when it comes to that lord."
Louise's voice was unabashed, responding, "While I'm grateful you all came to assist, please curb the arrogance of the Dragon Clan. Here, everyone fights alongside each other as comrades, all trusting enough to entrust their backs to one another. As long as that lord is present, hope shall not be extinguished."
"You've truly changed; what kind of enchantment did that fellow put on you?"
Serene clearly couldn't understand Louise's sentiment, curiously inquiring instead, "You, who never bow down, did you actually become this man's Mount Dragon?"
"Because that lord is worthy."
Louise offered no chance for Serene to respond, quickening her pace soon after, once again following close behind Leo Ray.
"What an inexplicable person; even if this Human Emperor is extraordinary, this is too exaggerated! It's simply unreasonable! Louise, you are a proud Giant Dragon, not a pet Oriole! Moreover, the master is a human being like an ant!"
Watching Louise's departing silhouette, Serene rambled a bunch in her mind and ultimately sighed softly, refocused her starry gaze on Leo Ray and murmured, "Even if he's the Emperor among ants, he's still just that, an ant. No matter what, I will never acknowledge a human."
Under Serene's gaze, Leo Ray was tense, his mind fully focused on the impending decisive Battle, not daring to relax for a moment.
Leo Ray was well aware that although this operation plan could be called meticulous, it contained too many uncertainties, with the future akin to a blank slate.
As he pondered, just one slip in the process could lead to our side's complete defeat.
Like when attacking the nest entrance initially, without Serene and others stepping in timely, even if I had prepared contingencies, things would have become extremely disadvantageous.
And the same holds true for our forces on each battlefield; if any position were lost, it could trigger an irreparable chain reaction.
To prevent such occurrences and to minimize our losses, I must seize every second to swiftly eliminate the culprit deep in the nest.
Just as Leo Ray was reflecting on this, the firm voice of Nathan Howard carried over: "Your Majesty of the Humans, up ahead is the last area of the Dragon Nest we could detect!"
"Up ahead leads to the unknown deepest part of the Dragon Nest?"
Leo Ray responded first, then solemnly stated: "The path ahead is uncertain, everyone must stay vigilant!"
"Your Majesty of the Humans, although we haven't entered the depths of the Dragon Nest, we've explored the boundary."
Serene quickly arrived, first giving Louise a glare, then reluctantly introduced, "Ahead stands a colossal door, an ancient Giant Dragon relic, said to be openable only by its owner!"
With Serene's crisp voice lingering, within the mist swiftly scattered by Nathan Howard and others at the front, indeed there appeared an ancient metal giant door, blocking everyone's path.
Under the illumination of the magic sphere, Leo Ray stared intently.
This enormous, ancient door, about a hundred meters tall, was a bizarre dark purple color, resembling a small mountain, exuding an unshakeable aura.
The massive engraved surface was filled with strange patterns and symbols, appearing somewhat like unknown magic runes, or abstract artworks, leaving one dazzled.
And the only decipherable part was the core in the middle of the giant door, depicting two Giant Dragons intertwined, but as the entire door was dark purple and depicted rather abstractly, it was impossible to determine which type of Giant Dragon it was.
"Prepare to attack, force the door open."
Leo Ray did not hesitate, immediately organizing the experts into lines, arranging in battle formation.
Currently, the Tier 6 main combat power following Leo Ray included 20 Alchemy Puppets controlled by Broy and other Dwarf Elves, 7 Treant elders like Shuert, 3 Wood Fairy elders, Yonir, Grey Elder, Elder Bing, along with 2 tribe members under Serene, totaling 35 Tier 6 Combat Power, and many like Louise at Half-step Tier 6 and Tier 5 Combat Power.
Though not as robust as the initial assembly of experts, it's still a formidable force.
Under Leo Ray's command, an overwhelming and vast momentum rose to the sky. Following the sequence of spell attack then physical attack, each of our experts demonstrated their full prowess, as the brilliance of magic made the entire cave bright as day, shaking the place to its roots.
However, after two waves of destructive and dense attacks ended in succession, everyone was surprised to find.
The metal giant door before them hadn't budged an inch, even without a scratch or a smudge of black.
